Ryu otsutsuki: They already know of him but haven't met him.

Ryanwan: Thanks, maybe you can make your own OC/Scarlet Witch story, either the MCU one or the Wolverine and the X-Men one

Drake leaped over a rooftop, running in the direction of the Chrysler Building. He took another leap and ended up on the side of the building, his demonic and godly heritage giving him superhuman abilities to do such things. Drake ran up the aide of the building before taking a leap up and grabbed onto one of the stone eagles, flipping around it to land on top of the eagle and get a beautiful view of New York City.

He took off his mask to reveal a young man at 19 years old with purple eyes, short black hair and a pale white skin complexion. His name was Drake Maverick, the son of a Demon and a Goddess. His parents real names couldn't be spoken due to names having power, so they were referred to as Darkness and Light respectively... and they made shadow.

Ironic, isn't it?

Drake looked down at New York, sitting done with his legs hanging over the eagle statue. "City's been quiet lately. Maybe I'll get a few days off this time." He said to himself as he reflected on how he came to be the vigilante known as Shadow.

It started six months ago when a group of terrorists from the Middle-East had kidnapped the President's daughter for ransom, demanding a billion dollars or else the girl will be killed. Drake decided to take matters into his own hands as he knew the American government would argue over this, trying to tell the President not to give in while the President would argue back that it's his daughter.

Investigating where the girl was kidnapped, Drake searched the area for any clues and found a form of petrol made only in Iraq and so he went there, figuring that was the terrorist's location. He followed the trail, asking around and found the location of the terrorists in a abandoned warehouse. Drake snuck up and used the Shadows to his advantage, manipulating the shadows to grab any snipers and pull them into a silent death. After that, Drake took out any patrolling guards before taking the lights out, grabbed the kid and made sure she was hidden, out of sight, then went back to kill the terrorists. They were dead with missing limbs, some sliced in half while others had bullets in their skulls, arms, legs or chests.

After that, Drake got the kid back to the White House, leaving her there after making sure the guards saw them. He didn't get pursued so he was sure the girl told the guards and her father about him rescuing her. Since then, Drake took up the name of the Shadow to fight crime but he only spared those who did thievery for their families, he killed those who did it for pleasure, amusement, and would do it again with no mercy. As far as he was concerned, that kind of scum deserved to rot in Hell instead of a prison.

The sound of a grappling hook attaching itself to the building brought Drake from his thoughts and he quickly put his mask back on before he looked to see a new figure had propelled himself up onto the building using his grappling hook. He was dressed in a red suit with what looked like small horns on the top of the mask.

This was the Daredevil of Hell's Kitchen, someone Drake has teamed up with in the past to deal with criminals and has even helped him with some incidents involving a Japanese group known as the Hand and also helped Daredevil deal with the Kingpin's operations. The guy was a bit of a dark brooder but nowhere near as dark as the Punisher is. Drake didn't know his identity and a part of him didn't really want to but the larger part of him didn't care. As long as Daredevil wasn't interested in finding out his identity then there won't be any issues between them.

"Hey Devil, how's Hell's Kitchen?" Drake greeted as Daredevil stood next to him.

The Devil of Hell's Kitchen grunted. "Quiet except for a few muggings and a store robbery. What about you? How was your patrol?"

"Stoped a gang fight, then an attempted gang rape." Drake said, the last one causing his mind to think about the woman he met, Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch. A new member of the Avengers as of two months ago. Though, Drake couldn't help but blush as she was way hotter in person than on camera.

Daredevil picked up on Shadow's distraction, he senses alerting him to Drake's heart beating in the way it would it someone was blushing or distracted but it seemed to be both for Shadow. Daredevil also picked up on a woman's perfume that was faint but was there. He also noticed the aroma was the same one he detected at the crashed and still running Lamborghini a few hours ago. It looked like the kind of vehicle Tony Stark would own.

Hell, it even had Stark's company logo on the license plate so that confirmed Daredevil's suspicions that this was Stark's car. Somebody must've been pissed off at him to take his car out for a 'joy ride'.

"Was she pretty?" Daredevil suddenly said.

Drake looked at him with a confused frown underneath his mask. "What?"

"I smell traces of perfume on you, one that belongs to a woman and I also picked it up on a damaged Lamborghini a couple of hours ago. Plus, your heart is beating in a way it would if a girl was currently at the center of your thoughts, plus I can tell your blushing." Daredevil explained before smirking. "So, was she pretty?"

"I... I am not having this conversation with you." Drake said as he turned away from the smirking Daredevil.

"So...she was ugly?" Daredevil asked sarcastically with his smirk still remaining on his face.

Drake turned and pointed at him. "Actually, she's really hot, so much that you'd probably go blind just by looking at her."

Daredevil snorted at the irony of that statement. "I'm sure I'll manage. But jokes aside, who was she?"

Shadow looked at him and stood up, placing his hands on his hips, the wind causing the ends of his trench cost to flow. "Why are you all of a sudden so curious in my personal life?"

"Because I'm curious into what makes the dangerous Shadow blush like a teenage boy who sees the pretty and popular girl in high school." Daredevil replied simply.

Drake narrowed his eyes at the Devil of Hell's Kitchen before looking away and crossed his arms. "She's actually one of the Avengers, the Scarlet Witch she's called. A Quinjet picked her up but I was already away, didn't know if the Avengers liked my methods or not considering the Daily Bugle bashes me more than it does Spider-man."

Daredevil hummed at that piece of information before he turned his head to the side in a way of alert. Drake watched him ,knowing that Daredevil has a sense to know something is up. Drake didn't know the limits of Daredevil's powers, sometimes the guy freaked him out.

"It seems what's left of the Chinese under Madame Gao have teamed up with that Viper woman to deal with Castle." Daredevil eventually said, causing Drake to look at him.

"Viper? That mutant the X-Men have faced before who was once a part of HYDRA?" The Shadow of New York asked for confirmation.

Daredevil nodded. "The very one."

Suddenly there was a rise in temperature and both heroes looked to see a man on fire flying up to them. This was Johnny Storm AKA the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four.

"Hey guys, how's it hanging?" Johnny asked as he landed beside them and doused the flames around his body.

'Great, met a member of the Avengers, and now one of the Fantastic Four. I knew I should've just stayed at home to help Mom with a barbeque. ' Drake thought to himself as he and Daredevil looked at the Human Torch...

And that's it for this chapter. Sorry if it's short but I was trying to show what Drake's connection is to the likes of Daredevil. He's teamed with Daredevil and Punisher a couple of times but there isn't a friendship between them, it's more of a 'You helped me, so I don't have issues with you' kind of thing, especially with Frank Castle.

That guy isn't the friendship type from what I've seen.
