First off I want to thank everyone for the reviews, favorites and follows. I'm introducing another OC in Master Hasa who will be Galen's first master. I say first because he will have another mater in book 2. Also since no has sent OC's yet that's still open and will take an unlimited amount of OC's the app to fill out will be at the bottom of the chapter while for the Clones he will be working along side with will be introudced in the next chapter as it take place on the battlefield.

Guest1: I will attempt to make him different the other Jedi.

Guest2: Yeah, he's not going to agree with everything the council says of course. Things are going to be very intereseting when we get to the part where he learns about his parents death who killed them.

Drago1401: Yeah like said any Force Unleashed won't appear until later, and because Clone Wars is supposedly huge Galen and Kota won't meet during the this time period. Shaak Ti would be an interesting choice but she will training a character from the Force Unleashed game. Anakin will be taking on Ahsoka like in the Clone Wars but I do plan on have Obi-Wan Kenobi will have an impact on Galen's training in Book 2.

21 BBY- 13 Years Later

Galen quickly brought up his training saber to block the attack. His timing was off, and he hadn't seen it coming so he was pushed back a few inches. He planted his foot firmly and pushed back hard. His sparring opponent backed up then he sprung forward bringing his saber up and down upon his opponent who leaped backwards avoiding his attack. He pushed forward for the next attack, before he could land on his feet his sparring opponent used the force to push him back making him land on his back. He sat up quickly and stared at his sparring opponent with a glare.

"We said no force powers Tano" he growled.

His opponent, Ahsoka Tano smiled then walked over and offered out her hand to him which he accepted allowing her to help him to his feet.

"I don't remember agreeing to that Marek" she replied with a smirk.

The scowl on Galen's face remained for a brief moment before turning into a smirk of his own. He and Ahsoka deactivated their training sabers then walked over to where the other younglings were watching them awaiting the arrival of the Jedi Master who would be conducting their combat training for the day. Normally it would be Jedi Master Yoda, but the wise Master had left the Jedi Temple. The room started buzzing about who would be teaching them.

"I heard it's Master Windu" a youngling murmured.

Galen rolled his eyes, at his fellow younglings, 'who cares who teaches us as long as it is useful in protecting those who can't protect themselves' he thought to himself. He was broken out of his thoughts by a nudge to his arm by Ahsoka who then nodded her head towards the doorway of the room. He turned his head and that's when he saw what she had seen. Standing in the doorway was none other than Master Tyha Hasa, who was a Kel Dor from the planet Dorin, the same planet that Jedi Master Plo Koon originated from. The only difference between the two masters was that Master Hasa's skin was more of an orange-red while Master Koon's was a true orange.

Master Hasa stepped into the room. He made his way towards the middle of the room not taking his eyes off the younglings who stood in silence.

"Today is a very important day but only for a few of you" Master Hasa said breaking the eerie silence that had filled the room.

He walked up to one of the large windows located in the room before spinning around abruptly scaring some of the younglings making them in jump backwards.

"When I call your names, step forward. Ahsoka Tano" he said calmly.

Galen and Ahsoka shared a quick look before the Togruta youngling stepped forward not wanting to inherit Master Hasa's wrath.

"Marris Brood" was the next name Master Hasa called.

Galen turned his head to see a female Zabrak step forward and took her place next to Ahsoka. Master Hasa called forward three more younglings.

"And lastly Galen Marek" Master Hasa said with a hint of coldness in his voice unlike the tone he used when he said the previous younglings name.

Galen slowly stepped through the crowd in front of him and made his way over taking a spot next to Ahsoka. The two friends shared a glance before turning their attention back to Master Hasa.

"Those whose name I did call follow me, the others stay" Master Hasa said then without saying another word he turned on his heel and walked out of the room.

"It can't be anything too bad" Ahsoka whispered to Galen before taking off out of the room with Marris and other younglings right behind her.

"Yeah right" Galen muttered before running out of the room.

Galen and others follow Master Hasa out onto a large platform where they see a ship awaiting them. They all stop when Master Hasa halts by the ship's ramp. He turned to face them.

"You select few have proven to be the top of your class and so now is the time for The Gathering" he said looking directly at them.

He then scanned the group of Younglings before him before his eyes set directly on Galen.

"Youngling Marek, can tell me what the importance of The Gathering is?" Master Hasa asked matter-of-factly.

Galen's eyes widened in shock at being isolated by the Jedi Master.

"There is no greater challenge or honor for a youngling but when it is time for a selective group of younglings to build their lightsabers" Galen responded calmly.

Master Hasa didn't respond right away. He took a breath then spoke again,

"Be warned, for this is no simple task and many perils lie ahead of you. Where we are going is not a place sacred to the Jedi" Master Hasa said. "Where we are going some of you will be tested, not only with the light side of the force but also…" Master Hasa started to say, he stopped when his eyes once again landed on Galen. "The dark side of the force" he finished before turning and made his way up the ramp of the ship.

Galen and Ahsoka stayed behind as the other younglings made their way up the ramp after Master Hasa.

"Why do I have a feeling that Master Hasa doesn't like me?" Galen asked her.

"Don't feel so bad, I didn't like you either" she replied as she started walking up the ramp.

"Yeah but this feels different" he retorted following her.

Ahsoka turned and patted him on the shoulder and motioned for him to walk alongside her as the two friends made their way up the ramp.

Ilum

Galen pulled the hood of his parka over his head tighter as he along with the group followed Master Hasa up the snowy plain through the blizzard. 'I hate the cold' he thinks to himself as he trudged through the snow, he looked over to see Ahsoka walking on his right and when he looked to his left he was a little shocked to see Marris Blood. Galne didn't really know the young Zabrak much, the two rarely talked outside of training but from what Galen could tell just by looking at her was that she was bold and strong which Galen had to admire.

Master Hasa led the group up to large mountain with a sheet of ice.

"Younglings outstretch your hands in focus before yourself and together only together can will you be allowed to enter" Master Hasa said before raising his hand up into the air.

Galen watched as Ahsoka, Marris along with the others raised their hands into the air, he took a long deep breath before raising his own hand into the air. He closed his eyes and took a long deep breath. After a few moments the large ice structure started to shake then started moving to reveal a doorway. Galen opened his eyes and a smile crossed his lips at the sight of the doorway. He looked over at Ahsoka who sent a him a smile before running off to catch up with the group.

"It's kind of beautiful."

Galen turned his head to see that it was Marris who had spoken which caught him off guard slightly. He opened his mouth to say something but before he could Marris walked off leaving him standing there alone. He stood there for a few more minutes then ran into the ice cave as he saw that it was starting to close. He entered the large cave to see the rest of the group surrounding Master Hasa who had his lightsaber out.

"A lightsaber. The weapon we use to protect others, which is something you will be doing today but first you must harvest your crystal. The crystal is the heart of the lightsaber" Master Hasa said then raised his hand upwards to where a large crystal hung above them.

A large hidden panel on the wall opened up and a light shined through hitting the crystal. Master Hasa then used the force to turn the crystal which reflected the light off the crystal hitting the large ice door behind Master Hasa. Everyone watched as the light melted the ice into water which revealed another hidden doorway. When the water was done Master Hasa turned to face the younglings once again.

"If you are to become a Jedi, enter the cave. You must trust not only yourself but each other in order to succeed" Master Hasa said. "Now go before the door closes you will be locked inside until the next rotation" He finished.

Galen along with the others made their way through the doorway. Galen stopped and looked around at his surroundings. He admitted he hated the cold but when he looked around and saw the ice he realized how beautiful ice could be.

"Galen, come on" Ahsoka called out to him.

Galen ran to catch up to where her and Marris were standing. The trio of younglings made their way deeper into the cave. As the three of them made their way through the cave, they kept an eye out for a crystal but so far no luck for any of them. Soon they came to a large clearing where three paths laid in front of them.

"Three pathways and…." Ahsoka started to say.

"Three of us" Marris said finished.

"So, we split up and meet up back here before leaving to meet Master Hasa" Galen said.

The two girls nodded their head before making their way through the two pathways on the right leaving Galen to take the one on the left. He made his way through the narrow pathway and as he drew closer to the end he saw what he thought was a bright light. He sped up his pacing until he reached the end of the pathway. When he stepped out he once again found himself in a large open area but stopped when he found himself no longer in the cave but in a hut. He walked forward towards the door of the hut and grabbed the handle to open the door, but it didn't budge. He pulled hard, again nothing. He went to attempt a third time only to stop when he heard the sounds of footsteps behind him.

Galen slowly turned his head to see a figure in a dark cloak standing behind him. The figure moved his hand out from behind the cloak revealing to be holding a round circular device. The figure pressed a button igniting a red double-bladed lightsaber. Galen's eyes widened in fear. His hands dropped down to his side and that's when he felt something hanging at his side. He glanced down and saw a lightsaber hanging on a belt. He unclipped the lightsaber and ignited it. He twirled the lightsaber around, then without hesitation rushed towards the hooded figure. He raised the saber and before he could do anything further, the figure stopped him with the force. Then using the force, the figure lifted him up and threw him across the hut into the wall.

The figure slowly made his way towards him. He tried to fight and free himself, but it was no use. The figure stopped a few inches from him then reached up with their free hand removed their hood. Galen's eyes widened in shock at who he saw in front of him. 'No… it's not possible' he thought to himself. He shook his head to think clear again and started fighting the figure's hold on him again. He could feel the force building upside of him.

"NOOO!" he shouted then there was a huge shockwave sending the figure flying backwards. Galen fell to the ground and landed on his feet. He once again ignited the lightsaber in his hand and rushed forward. The figure activated his red lightsaber and swung at Galen, but the young Marek was too fast as he parried the attack then stabbed the figure through the stomach with his lightsaber. He deactivated the lightsaber then allowed the figure's body to fall to the ground. Galen's eyes closed and when he reopened them he found himself back inside the ice cave. A bright light shines to his right making him put his hand up to block out the light's rays. He started making his way over to the light and as he got closer he saw that light was coming not from the wall in front of him, but from what was behind the wall. It was a small blue kyber crystal. He raised his hand and placed it up against the wall. He closed his eyes and started to focus on the crystal.

He concentrated on his breaths. In and out, in and out then opened his eyes when the wall in front of him started to crack open. He reached inside and wrapped his hand around the crystal. He pulled the crystal out then made his way out of the cave to the pathway. He made his way down the pathway back to the opening where he saw both Ahsoka and Marris waiting for him.

"You okay Galen?" Ahsoka asked when she saw the look on her friend's face.

"Yes, let's get back to Master Hasa" he replied quietly.

Then they started making his way back the way they had entered.

Galen sat in front of the box with his eyes closed. Lying on the box was pieces of metal and the blue kyber crystal he had gotten from the cave. He could feel the force surrounding him as he concentrated on the object at hand. The pieces and the crystal began to raise up into the air. He moved his hands up and started to move them around in the air. As he did this, the pieces started coming together. Once he felt the lightsaber was completed, he put his hand out and the lightsaber dropped into it. He opened his eyes to what was a completed lightsaber in his hands.

He slowly raised to his feet then pressed the button activating the lightsaber. He heard the hum of the saber as it came to life. The blue of the blade calmed his mind as he stared at it. He twirled the lightsaber around then deactivated it before turning around to face where Ahsoka and Marris were standing with their lightsabers in their hands. Ahsoka had obtained a green kyber crystal while Marris was able to obtain not one but two green kyber crystals which was rare.

"Are you sure you're okay Galen?" Ahsoka asked him.

Galen took a deep breath. 'Should he tell her what he had seen? No, she probably wouldn't understand', he thought.

"I'm fine Ahsoka honestly" he lied.

Ahsoka opened her mouth to call his bluff but before she could, Master Hasa entered the room they were in. They could all see that something was troubling the Jedi Master.

"Master Hasa, are you all right?" Marris asked him.

"No young one, I am not" Master Hasa responded.

"What's wrong Master?" Galen asked him. Master Hasa let out a deep breath before responding.

"War has begun."
