Justin took in a deep breath of fresh hair, he had the key of the Buy More in his hand and locked up shop for the night. He stretched cracking his knuckles in a satisfying way tightening his coat. He finally had a decent living, and a stable life but he still couldn't remember exactly who he was. Everyday he wondered about the life he used to live before waking up in the hospital. Who was he, what did he do, were his interests the same. He wasn't quite sure.
Walking down the streets of Olympus City there was a soft city scent, and the calm chatter of the streets. On his way home he did grab a small snack and stopped by a small stand that sold a brand of soda he enjoyed.
Justin cracked the back of his neck. "Hey I'll just get the usual."
"The rawst berry soda right?"
"Yeah that's the one."
Behind the soda stand was the owner's van and inside the van was a small CR TV. On it was highlights from Mountain's Peak the year before. It was a tournament where students around Justin's age would compete for pride, money and opportunity.
"Kid, you seem decently interested in that. Are you going to one of them battle schools? Plus you seem well built enough for it. It's a whole lot better than this soda belly I've got!"
Justin could feel the pull for battle burning deep inside of him, but he just wasn't sure if he could really commit to doing it. He'd love to, he began to think about it as the word battle brought so much fire to his heart, he needed to explore it. With a smile on his face he decided to head home.
Later that night Justin was on his computer scrolling through battle courses that accepted brand new students. He was 19 as far as he could tell and he had found the perfect course for him. He decided to choose a battle club that wasn't too big in terms of ranking nor too small. It also wasn't that far from work and where he lived which was a definite plus.
On that same night a certain girl was on the top floor of the Ozcorp Industries tower passed out on a couch. On her stomach was an open pizza box and she had drool coming out of her mouth. There was a loud strong vibration in her pocket waking her up. Her vision was blurry so reaching over she grabbed her square rimmed glasses and put them on. Pulling out her phone she saw an email notification.
She stretched her arms looking at the time and found out it was only one o'clock in the morning. She soon opened up the email.
"Huh… it's from my dad." Peni proceeded to open up the email on her phone but was soon received with an error message.
Cii was the personal AI that belonged to Ozcorp, and it was Peni's personal assistant with all of her work. "Cii you up?"
A soft feminine voice on the top floor soon said. "Anytime for you Miss."
Peni walked over to her workshop. It was a large desk with a holographic display cluttered with Blueprints. Despite being only 18 Peni was the lead designer for conduits in Ozcorp. The tech genius Peni Ozcorp. She had quite a few achievements under her belt from bringing up the tech of Olympia up to where it was today and developing Cii from the ground up at the age of 5.
Peni held her phone to her workshop and the file was easily transferred over. The first thing Peni noticed was just how big the file was. It was over 20 terabytes of data with a message attached. It read out "Fix Me".
"Woah 20 terabytes! That's more than double of what you take up Cii. First off I can't open up the file. What do you think it is? My Father wouldn't just send me something this huge on a whim."
"Miss wasn't your father on a business trip to Selene, his last login on the Ozcorp server was seven months ago."
"Yeah yeah I got it. It might be blueprints of multiple conduits, but even then the file size is just way too suspicious. Cii please run a decryption algorithm, and let's bust this file wide open."
"Anything for you Miss."
Peni stretched her arms and grabbed a bottle of green juice out of the mini fridge. She soon looked into a mirror just to get into work mode. She had short blonde hair and tied it up with an aquamarine hairband. She soon rubbed away her blurry vision from her blue eyes after rinsing them with cold water. She put on a simple tank top and fitted her black pants nicely.
"Ok I'm ready, Cii you finished?"
"Yes I am Miss, here is the file."
Peni expanded the file on her workshop and soon began to take notice that this was something she had never seen before. It didn't look like Olympia technology, but it was something much closer to the cutting edge tech found in Polaris. It finally had a name though and it read out "Intersect".
There were Blueprints and it seemed they were sort of hard to build for Peni, but what really weirded her out was the code behind it. The coding was advanced, but it was clear that it was in the language that Polaris AI was made of. It seemed like her Dad was trying to create some kind of new AI that used multiple personalities bouncing off of each other. It would explain the large file size, but the only issue is there were so many errors that there was no possible way the program would be stable.
Peni rolled her neck and sat down, looked her workshop dead on and said. "Cii order me another pizza and some energy drinks we're finishing this tonight."
"Miss might I suggest you rest before working on another big project, your circadian rhythm is completely off of its natural rhythm."
"Cii you know what I always say, problems don't solve themselves. Now are you going to nag me all night or are you going to provide this brain with the calories it needs."
"As you wish Miss."
Peni was hard at work fixing the code that her Dad had sent her. She bounced between building the actual device it was going to go into and compiling the code. She had asked Cii to reroute all power to her workshop leaving her office cold but it was worth it to help speed up the process. Hours had passed by and eventually morning came, but Peni didn't notice she was still hard at work, working on whatever she was working on.
By around 8pm the next day she had finished the device. It was a round circle with a projector screen in the middle of the circle. The design was quite thick and bulky, but it was to the dimension of the email Peni's Dad had sent her.
"Ok that should be finished."
Peni placed it down on a nearby table and watched as whatever she built began to boot up. A holographic display popped up in front of her. There was an odd message that read out "Knock knock please enter the password."
"Knock knock? What do you think this means?" Peni asked
"Why don't you try a simple who's there?" Cii said.
"Alright, who's there."
Suddenly in a robotic tone the device said. "Voice recognized Penni Ozcorp Incorrect Password please try again. Knock Knock."
Peni thought about it for a bit. She knew her dad sent her this, and they used to tell each other knock knock jokes all the time. However one thing did come to mind and it was something she would always say to him when she was younger. "I'm here."
"Voice and password accepted. Peni Ozcorp you must protect this device with your life. Deploying the Intersect." Suddenly the device began to light up and thousands of images flashed before Peni's eyes. She couldn't look away as her eyes darted across the holographic images, and in a flash the device soon began to burn a hole right through the middle of it before sputtering a sound. "Upload Complete."
Peni blinked a few times rubbing her eyes and she sat down feeling slightly light headed, before completely collapsing on her floor.

Wendy stood at the base of Ozcorp tower and began to talk into her watch. "Sir we found the Intersect. What do you want me to do?"
"Agent Walker this is The Intersect 1.0 monitor the situation, we need the intersect alive after all."
