The next morning, Elsa opened her eyes and got up. She looked beside her and noticed that Honeymaren wasn't in her sleeping bag. She stood up and saw that Honeymaren was in sitting on the same log, from yesterday. Elsa walked up to her and said, "Good morning, honey."

Honeymaren smiled and replied, "Good morning, cutie-pie. You seemed to be more comfortable, with sleeping out here, than I thought."

Elsa looked a little nervous, while asking, "Was I asleep for too long?"

Honeymaren said, "Well, I don't know what the time is, but I think it's been an hour, since I woke up."

Elsa sat next to Honeymaren, while saying, "I'm sorry. I'm used to having the kingdom's staff wake me up."

Honeymaren replied, "It's fine. Besides, you look cute, when you're sleeping."

Elsa had an amused look on her face, while asking, "Do I only look cute, when I'm asleep?"

Honeymaren jokingly said, "Oh, yes. You look pretty terrifying, when you're awake." She chuckled and put her hand on Elsa's shoulder, while saying, "I hope you know I'm kidding."

Elsa replied, "Of course."

Honeymaren said, "I wouldn't call you cutie-pie, if you weren't cute."

Elsa shyly replied, "That makes sense."

Honeymaren handed Elsa some berries and nuts, while explaining, "While you were napping, I got us some breakfast."

Elsa started eating her breakfast. Even though she had just woken up, she was already feeling guilty. Honeymaren had managed to get up and prepare breakfast, before she even opened her eyelids. She sighed.

Honeymaren asked, "What's wrong?"

Elsa said, "Um, it's nothing."

Honeymaren nudged Elsa and said, "Come on, cutie-pie. I don't want you hiding how you feel."

Elsa had a shameful expression on her face, while replying, "This'll probably sound dumb, but I'm just feeling useless."

Honeymaren could hardly believe what she just heard. She knew Elsa was modest, but she didn't think Elsa was so full of self-doubt. She looked at Elsa, while asking, "What are you talking about? You saved all of us, from all the war and destruction, that was going on between our people, the soldiers and the rock creatures. How could you think you're useless? That's such an absurd thought."

Elsa said, "Well, my sister, Anna deserves most of the credit, for what happened. She was the real hero."

Honeymaren shook her head and replied, "You two are a team and we all know Anna's a great hero, but your contributions were irreplaceable, Elsa."

Elsa said, "I guess I feel useless, because I'm not really helping you or the others, anymore. Sure, I overlook the Enchanted Forest, but that won't mean much, unless some super-powered menace threatens this place."

Honeymaren asked, "So what? You're still a joy to have around."

Elsa said, "I'm just in the way. It's one of the reasons I left Arendelle. My sister was worried about me, all the time and I didn't know how to run a kingdom. Instead of me helping my kingdom, my kingdom had to protect me. Anna's the younger sibling, yet she was the one taking care of me and now, you've been doing everything, because I don't know the first thing, about living in a forest."

Honeymaren put her arm around Elsa, while replying, "Don't be so hard on yourself, cutie-pie. I've lived in the forest, my whole life and so have the others. You didn't get the experience, that we did, but we're glad to help you adjust to this place. Also, don't think you're in my way. I haven't made a new friend, in a long time and I certainly would be a lot lonelier and a lot more bored, without your company."

Elsa smiled, while saying, "Thank you, honey. I'm sorry. I knew I was being dumb." She sighed and said, "Dumb decisions seems to be a regular thing, for me."

Honeymaren replied, "Moving here was a smart decision, Elsa. I was wrong, to call you a city girl. You don't belong in a busy city, full of judgmental people, who'll put you down. You deserve to be here, with me and the others."

Elsa said, "Maybe you're right."

Honeymaren decided to share an embarrassing childhood moment, to make Elsa feel better. She said, "Don't tell anybody, but when I was a little kid, I didn't know how to get firewood."

Elsa asked, "Really?"

Honeymaren nodded and said, "I would often not see the wood, even when it was in front of me. Also, I often dropped the wood and lost it. Like you, I've fallen into quite a few mud puddles, over the years. I was lucky, that Yelena and Ryder were patient and helped me deal with my mistakes. Seeking help doesn't make you weak, cutie-pie and it'd be my honor, to continue helping you."

Elsa replied, "In that case, I'm incredibly grateful and honored." She bowed to Honeymaren.

Honeymaren said, "I'm flattered, but you're not in Arendelle, anymore, so the bowing isn't necessary."

Elsa asked, "Is bowing not a normal custom, around here?" Honeymaren shook her head.

After a little more chatting, Honeymaren got up and said, "We better return to the others. They're probably wondering where we've been."

Elsa replied, "That's true."

Elsa and Honeymaren started heading back to the area, where the rest of the Northuldra people kept their huts in. Since Elsa was still getting used to the Enchanted Forest, she didn't remember where certain places were at. Because of that, Honeymaren led the way.

Honeymaren said, "You'll have to forgive me, Elsa. I was so happy, that you decided to stay in the forest, that I wanted you to spend as much time with me, as possible."

Elsa replied, "It's fine. The others were sleeping, for most of the previous days. It's not like I wanted to say a lengthy speech, to a crowd of snoring people. Besides, I really enjoy being with you. You're amazing."

Honeymaren responded, "So are you."

After several minutes of walking, Elsa and Honeymaren returned to the rest of the Northuldra people. Yelena, Ryder and the others started looking at them, while wondering where they've been. Yelena had a blank expression on her face, while Ryder casually waved at Elsa and his sister.

Elsa shyly said, "Hi, guys."

Yelena said, "We've been wondering where you've been, Queen Elsa."

Elsa paced around, while replying, "No need to call me a queen, anymore, since I'm no longer living in the kingdom. I'm sorry, about wandering off."

Honeymaren explained, "Cutie-pie -" She paused and said, "Um, I mean Elsa, needed some personal time, to get more comfortable. She's still trying to get used to her new home."

Ryder looked at Elsa, while asking, "What do you think of the Enchanted Forest, so far?"

Elsa said, "It's really nice and beautiful. Of course, there's certain luxuries, that I have to forget about, because the forest doesn't have them. There's no couches, showers, shampoo or washing machines."

Ryder replied, "I don't know what any of that stuff is, but it sounds futuristic."

Yelena looked at Elsa, while asking, "Can I speak to you, for a moment?"

Elsa said, "Of course." She looked at Honeymaren, while saying, "I'll be right back." Honeymaren nodded.

Elsa and Yelena walked away from the others. Elsa felt a bit nervous. Yelena wasn't the most cheerful or friendly villager, so Elsa desperately hoped she wasn't in trouble. Elsa said, "Yelena, don't be mad at Honeymaren, for me being gone, yesterday. She was just showing me around and I wasted a lot of time. I'm sorry."

Yelena replied, "Elsa, you're a grown woman. You're allowed to go wherever you please. It's not like I'm going to ground you or anything."

Elsa said, "That makes sense."

Yelena explained, "I just wanted to tell you, that the Northuldra people, including myself, are very glad you decided to stay with us. I believe the Enchanted Forest will be a more peaceful place, with you around."

Elsa said, "That's great to hear, but why did you have to pull me away from the others, to tell me that?"

Yelena lightly smiled, while replying, "I don't like showing my emotions, in front of my people. I have to be a strong, stern leader."

Elsa said, "I get that, but there's nothing wrong with sharing your emotions. That's something I'm starting to learn."

Yelena replied, "Perhaps you're right."

While Elsa was talking to Yelena, Ryder was talking to Honeymaren. Ryder said, "So, Elsa's now being called cutie-pie?"

Honeymaren looked a little embarrassed, while asking, "You heard me say that?"

Ryder said, "I sure did. You love your nicknames. I find your nickname, for Elsa, to be rather surprising. I was expecting a cold pun or something."

Honeymaren replied, "I figure she's heard enough of those. I wanted to give her a nickname, that wouldn't humiliate her."

Ryder asked, "Then why use the name, cutie-pie? You might as well call her adorable-cake or something like that."

Honeymaren sighed and said, "In hindsight, it might of been the wrong name."

Ryder noticed his sister was starting to look a little moody, so he gently nudged her and said, "I was just joking around. You know, you're lucky."

Honeymaren asked, "Really?"

Ryder said, "You know it. I mean, out of everybody in the village, the ice girl has been spending her time with you."

Honeymaren replied, "I guess that's true. It appears I haven't scared her away."

Ryder jokingly said, "If you need help with that, I could use a white blanket, as a ghost costume."

Honeymaren replied, "No offense, but you wouldn't be a scary ghost."

Ryder said, "I think I could be pretty scary, if I tried hard enough." Honeymaren rolled her eyes. Ryder looked behind him and saw a pile of blankets. He pulled out a white one, while smirking.

A few minutes later, Elsa and Yelena returned to the others. Ryder stood in front of them, while wearing the white blanket and saying, "Boo."

Elsa had an amused look on her face, while saying, "Cute ghost costume, Ryder."

Ryder took the blanket off and said, "I guess I'm not as good, at scaring people, as I thought I was."

Elsa said, "I'm afraid you're too nice and gentle, to be scary."

Ryder sighed and replied, "Fair enough."

Elsa walked back to Honeymaren and said, "Hi, honey."

Honeymaren replied, "Hi, cutie-pie. How did things go, between you and Yelena?"

Elsa said, "Everything went fine. I'm not in trouble or anything."

Honeymaren asked, "Did you actually think you'd be in trouble?"

Elsa shyly said, "I might of been a little concerned."

Honeymaren replied, "Sheesh, you worry about everything you can, don't you?"

Elsa said, "Sadly, that does appear to be the case."

Honeymaren replied, "You need to let it go."

Elsa said, "You're probably right."

Ryder walked up to Elsa and Honeymaren, while saying, "We're going to go collect firewood."

Honeymaren replied, "I'll help."

Elsa said, "Me, too."

Honeymaren look at Elsa, while asking, "Are you sure? I don't want you to put too much pressure on yourself, Elsa."

Elsa replied, "I know I messed up, last time, but I'll be more careful, from now on."

Honeymaren responded, "Okay."

Elsa, Honeymaren, Ryder and a few of the other Northuldra people went into the woods and started looking for firewood. Elsa hadn't seen much of the woods, before, so she wanted to make sure she got a good look at it. A lot of the trees were very old, but Elsa still thought they looked very strong and nice. She looked up and could hardly believe what she saw. She said, "Honey, take a look at this."

Honeymaren walked closer to Elsa and asked, "What's up?"

Elsa said, "Look up."

Honeymaren looked up and saw several piles of wood, that had been put into the tree branches. Honeymaren said, "Wow, it looks like all these trees are full of wood."

Elsa said, "I guess this gives me an excuse, for being bad at finding wood. I was expecting to find wood on the ground, but apparently, all the wood got thrown into the trees."

Honeymaren asked, "How did this happen?"

Ryder nervously smiled, while saying, "I know what happened." Elsa and Honeymaren stared at Ryder, while hoping he had a reasonable explanation. He explained, "When Kristoff was hanging out with us, it was during the time, that he was about to propose to Anna. His proposal attempts weren't working, so he started getting emotional. In order to get over his frustration, he started tossing wood into the trees."

Honeymaren asked, "You let him do that?"

Ryder said, "I just wanted to make sure he didn't throw any reindeer, into the trees. I figured it wouldn't be too bad, if he threw non-living objects."

Elsa looked at him, while asking, "Why didn't you tell anybody, about what happened?"

Ryder said, "I was hoping the wood would of fallen out of the branches, by now."

Elsa looked back up and said, "There's over a hundred pieces of wood, up there. Kristoff must on been in a very angry mood."

Honeymaren sighed and asked, "What are we supposed to do? So much wood is going to waste, thanks to Kristoff's temper tantrum."

Elsa thought about the situation, before saying, "I think I know how to get the wood."

Honeymaren looked concerned, while saying, "You aren't going to climb, are you?"

Elsa shook her head and replied, "I have a different idea." She used her ice powers, in order to create a block of ice, that raised her up to the tree branches. After getting to a closer distance, Elsa grabbed a large pile of wood. Honeymaren and Ryder looked up and saw what Elsa was doing. They both looked impressed. They had only seen Elsa use her powers, a few times, so it still felt new and exciting, to see what Elsa's powers could do.

Elsa smiled, while saying, "I got the firewood and I can create more ice blocks, so I can reach every tree, that has wood in it."

Honeymaren replied, "This is very impressive, cutie-pie, but do you know how you'll get down?"

Elsa said, "I'll show you." While keeping her grip on the firewood, Elsa started sliding down the block of ice.

Although Elsa's block of ice helped her get up to the tree, sliding down it was dangerous. Elsa started falling off of the ice block. Honeymaren gasped and quickly stood under the area, where Elsa was falling. Honeymaren kept her arms out and managed to catch, before she could fall to the ground. Elsa nervously said, "I'm sorry. I was so focused on getting up, that I didn't have a get-down plan."

Honeymaren replied, "It's fine, as long as you don't do that, ever again."

Elsa responded, "Okay."

When Elsa was falling off the ice block, the wood, that she was carrying, fell out of her arms and fell to the ground. Ryder picked up the wood and said, "Good job, Elsa. Thanks to you, we were able to get some of the wood." He looked around, at the other trees, which were still full of wood. He chuckled and said, "Hopefully, the wind rises and blows the wood to the ground."

Elsa was still in Honeymaren's arms, so she said, "You better let me down, so I can help Ryder carry the wood."

Honeymaren replied, "I think Ryder can carry the wood, himself. It serves him right, for causing this mess."

Ryder defensively responded, "I'm not the one, who threw the wood into the trees. That was Kristoff. I just let him do that."

Elsa comfortably laid in Honeymaren's shoulders, while Honeymaren said, "Ryder, when somebody has a stupid idea, you're not supposed to just let him or her do it."

Ryder replied, "You're right. I'm sorry."

Elsa said, "It's fine, but did Kristoff throw other stuff, into the trees?"

Ryder said, "Just some trinkets, blankets, carrots and a few bags of supplies."

Honeymaren replied, "That's unbelievable. Frankly, I'm glad that Kristoff didn't stay here."

Ryder and Honeymaren started walking back to the others. Elsa felt so comfortable, in Honeymaren's arms, that she started dozing off. Ryder tried to stand up for Kristoff, by saying, "He's a cool guy. I was hoping he'd stay. He appreciates the eloquence of reindeer, more than any of my other friends."

Honeymaren replied, "Reindeer are a fine group of animals, but it's not like they're the best."

Ryder said, "Sometimes, I feel like they're better than people." Elsa started singing Kristoff's song, about reindeer, in her sleep.

A few minutes later, Ryder returned to the others and dropped off the wood. They started making a fire, while Honeymaren gently woke Elsa up, by touching her face. Elsa opened her eyes and Honeymaren finally put her on the ground. Elsa said, "Thank you, for carrying me."

Honeymaren replied, "It was my pleasure."

Elsa sat down and watched Ryder and the others start the fire. Elsa looked down and saw Honeymaren digging through her bag of supplies. Elsa asked, "Are you looking for something, in particular?"

Honeymaren said, "I'm just looking for an old shawl. It used to belong to my grandmother, who gave it to her mother, who gave it to me. I've had it, ever since I was a teenager." She kept looking through her supplies, while saying, "I know I put in here, but for some reason, it's not here."

Elsa nervously asked, "Do you think the shawl might of been one of the things, that Kristoff threw into the trees?"

Honeymaren said, "Oh, no." Honeymaren started running back to the trees, so Elsa followed her.

After getting to the trees, Honeymaren started looking up, to see if her shawl was in any of the branches. After looking through multiple trees, Honeymaren saw her that her shawl was dangling in a tree branch. She sighed and said, "The shawl's stuck in the trees."

Elsa replied, "Well, all of the stuff, that Kristoff threw into the trees, will probably come down, eventually."

Honeymaren explained, "The wood is sure to fall down, but lighter things, like my shawl, are going to get blown away. I'll probably never see the shawl, ever again."

Elsa said, "I'm sorry."

Honeymaren replied, "It's okay."

Elsa carefully looked at Honeymaren and she could tell she was feeling a bit down. Elsa asked, "Are you sure you're okay?"

Honeymaren said, "Um, yeah."

Elsa stepped closer to her and said, "Honey, you told me to be honest about my feelings. Don't you think you should do the same?"

Honeymaren replied, "I suppose that would be fair." She paused and said, "I'm not usually one, to care about losing material items. However, this item was something, that both my grandmother and mother loved. I was hoping to hold onto it, always."

Elsa responded, "I understand. I feel the same way about a shawl, that belonged to my mother." An idea suddenly popped into Elsa's mind. She stuck out her hand, while asking, "Can you come with me? I want to show you something, that might cheer you up."

Honeymaren replied, "Okay."

Elsa and Honeymaren started holding hands. For some reason, holding Honeymaren's felt different, for Elsa, than holding Anna's hand or anybody else's hand. When Honeymaren's hand touched her own, Elsa felt a weird temptation, to start blushing. Elsa attempted to hold back her blushes, as much as she could, but there were times, where her blushes were bright and visible.

Honeymaren looked at Elsa's face, before asking, "Are you okay?"

Elsa tried to remain calm, while saying, "Of course I am. I'm concerned about you, but you don't need to be concerned about me."

Honeymaren replied, "Your face is looking a little red. Is that normal, for you?"

Elsa said, "Only when I'm holding her hand." Elsa blushed harder, while realizing what she just said.

Honeymaren had an amused look on her face, while saying, "I'm flattered, that my hand is your face's only weakness."

Elsa nervously replied, "I didn't mean to say that."

Honeymaren said, "Just because you didn't mean to say it, doesn't mean you don't mean it. It's nothing to be ashamed about, cutie-pie. If anything, red's a cute color, for your face."

Elsa blushed harder, while replying, "It's going to keep getting red, if you keep this up."

Honeymaren smirked, while asking, "Keep what up?"

Elsa said, "Um, nothing." She paused, while trying to think of a way, to escape this awkwardness. Her focus started returning to her idea, to cheer up Honeymaren. Elsa looked at Honeymaren, while asking, "Can you meet me, at the spot we slept by, last night? I'll meet you, there."

Honeymaren replied, "Okay, cutie-pie."

Honeymaren walked over to the spot, where she and Elsa spent the night. Their sleeping bags were still there and so were the logs they sat on. Honeymaren sat on one of the logs and patiently waited for Elsa.

A short time later, Elsa walked up to Honeymaren. She pulled out her mother's shawl and put it around Honeymaren. Elsa sat down and asked, "What did you think? I know it doesn't have as much sentimental significance, as your previous shawl, but I hope you enjoy it."

Honeymaren replied, "It's a beautiful shawl, Elsa, but it's yours and it used to belong to your mother. I shouldn't be wearing it."

Elsa said, "We can share it. When I'm feeling down, I'll use it and whenever you feel you need it, you're welcome to wear it."

Honeymaren replied, "That's a very thoughtful gesture, Elsa. Are you sure it's okay?"

Elsa smiled, while saying, "Absolutely."

Honeymaren asked, "How does the shawl look on me?"

Elsa stared at Honeymaren, with her shawl wrapped around her shoulder. Elsa looked impressed, while saying, "You're beautiful."

Honeymaren said, "As flattered as I am, I was asking how the shawl looked."

Elsa shyly said, "I said that the shawl is beautiful."

Honeymaren shook her head and replied, "You called me beautiful, not the shawl."

Elsa tried a desperate move, to cover up her embarrassment. She said, "I was talking to the shawl."

Honeymaren had an amused look on her face, while asking, "You were talking to the shawl? I don't believe that."

Elsa sighed and said, "I've been a little weird, when it comes to wording myself, recently. I guess I'm just struggling, because it's hard to communicate with all these people, that I'm just starting to meet."

Honeymaren jokingly replied, "Maybe you're so distracted by my beauty, that your words are starting to become a jumbled mess."

Elsa chuckled and responded, "If you say so, honey." She paused and said, "In all seriousness, the shawl looks absolutely lovely, on you. Also, I suppose I have to stop stretching the truth and start admitting the fact, that I think you're beautiful. I know that's a super awkward and weird thing, to admit, but I figure I better stop lying to you."

Honeymaren replied, "I appreciate your honesty, Elsa and I especially appreciate, that you're willing to share your shawl."

Elsa held hands with Honeymaren, while saying, "I felt bad. You have so few things and one of the few material items, that meant something to you, got blown away."

Honeymaren replied, "I may not have a kingdom, but I feel like I everything I need. After all, I have you." She chuckled and said, "It's not like I own you or anything, but you know what I mean."

Elsa responded, "Yeah."

Honeymaren said, "You've really done a lot for me, today, Elsa. I hope you stop thinking you're useless."

Elsa said, "You know what? I don't feel useless, anymore."

Honeymaren smiled and replied, "I'm glad to hear that, cutie-pie." She paused and said, "Since you told me what you think, regarding my appearance, I feel I owe it to you, to say what I think of your appearance."

Elsa nervously smiled and responded, "Don't be too harsh."

Honeymaren asked, "Harsh? I think I'm about to give you a compliment, that you can't handle."

Elsa had a confident expression on her face, while replying, "Yeah right. How hard can it be, to accept a compliment?"

Honeymaren said, "I think you're the most gorgeous woman, that I've ever seen." Elsa grabbed the shawl and used it to cover the huge blush, that was on her face. Honeymaren pulled the shawl down and grinned, while admiring the giant blush Elsa had. She said, "You look adorable."

Elsa replied, "I look silly."

Honeymaren yawned and said, "It's probably the middle of the day, yet I feel like taking a nap."

Elsa replied, "Then go ahead. What's stopping you?"

Honeymaren said, "I don't want to just sleep, the whole day. After all, this is only your second day, of living in the Enchanted Forest."

Elsa replied, "I wouldn't mind a nap, too."

Honeymaren responded, "Well, our sleeping bags are right behind us."

Elsa and Honeymaren got into their sleeping bags and rested close to each other. Honeymaren watched Elsa close her eyes and start resting. A sneaky thought popped into her head. She smirked, while getting closer to Elsa and kissing her cheek. Elsa opened her eyes and gasped. She looked at Honeymaren, who was grinning. Elsa said, "That was a rather mischievous move."

Honeymaren replied, "It probably was. I'm sorry, if my lack of manners offended you."

Elsa said, "It's fine."

Honeymaren replied, "I'm glad you're okay with it."

Elsa watched Honeymaren close her eyes. A daring thought popped into her brain. She got revenge on Honeymaren, by kissing her cheek. Honeymaren opened her eyes and looked back at Elsa, who said, "I have a mischievous side, too. I hope you don't mind."

Honeymaren replied, "Of course not. I was anticipating that kiss."

Elsa raised her eyebrows and asked, "What?" Honeymaren laughed and returned to her nap. Elsa sighed, before closing her eyes. Honeymaren was unlike any friend, that she had ever met. She was certainly the first friend, that Elsa had kissed on the cheek. At first, Elsa thought Honeymaren was just a good friend, but after spending more time with her, she knew Honeymaren was so much more.
