AN So hi, like I said before sorry for the short chapter. BTW this is set in America even though I don't really know much about US highschool so please point out any mistakes... Now I have a schedule so I'll be updating every Friday and fitting in extra chapters when I can and in these ANs I'll be responding to your reviews (or I'll just PM you). Hope you enjoy! 3
Chapter 2
All of these thoughts swam around in her head as she tip-toed up the stairs, picked out an outfit and slid into the shower.
She stepped out of the shower at 6:45 am on the dot (she was organised like that) steam rolling off her towelled body and she quickly got ready combed her hair and tied it up into a braid her fingers moving deftly through her smooth blond hair. She texted Thalia and Bianca her morning greetings and set off through the door and toward her destination.
As soon as Annabeth stepped into the library she relaxed, sinking into a squashy armchair and waited for Thals and B. Soon enough they made their entrance and sat in armchairs on either side of her.
"Hey Beth!" they whisper screamed.
"Hi," she replied, and put down the book she was reading. "So how was your weekend?" B questions,
"Meh the usual," she replies with a sigh.
"Ah don't be such a grump Beth we both know for you the usual is looking naturally pretty and floating around like a princess." Thalia deadpans.
"Oh sure," Annabeth snorts, "why don't you build me a castle while you're at it Thals?"
"If only you knew how much you deserve one A."
"Anyway," trills B, "the annual talent show is coming up you guys gonna enter?"
"Nope, already doin' the guitar for the band." Thalia replies.
"Ooo I'm doing the drums! What about you Annabeth?"
"Umm I don't think I'll be entering guys."
"But Beth you could show them this year. They would understand." moans B.
"Oh hell no I already told you I won't be showing them unless we're in a life threatening situation, I mean it was hard enough telling you guys!" she half yells, then the school bell rings just as Bianca is about to give her the puppy eyes. 'Saved by the bell' she thinks, as she travels through the humongous crowds.
She's about to walk into class when the whole corridor becomes silent all of a sudden and 3 girls walk in, all chick-flick like. She inwardly cringes as they walk past her and flick their hair. Rachel, Drew and Calyspo they were your stereotypical hot girls, disgusting. Then in came the Populars the mixed group of boys and girls who were even more popular than the 'hot girls' and a lot of them were heartbreakers. First came Jason and Piper Goode Highs cutest couple, next came Travis and Conner Stoll the pranksters who were already whispering to each other, next came Leo the 'single pringle', next there was Hazel and Frank Annabeth's personal favourite couple and then… and then in came Percy Jackson the most popular guy no questions asked with his ruffled messy hair and his sea green eyes he was easily the hottest too… Whereas the most of his group was standing next to the wall he caught Annabeth's eye and started to move slowly toward her and once she realised what he was doing she sped away into her classroom…
AN Ooooo so we meet Percy and da populars! The tension is high am I right ?! See ya next Friday.
