'What the hell', Emma thought as she looked around her. She could have sworn she was just in Storybrooke standing on dry land and now all of the sudden… water. Water everywhere around her. In panic she looked around, trying to determine where she was. But because of all the wind and fog she was unable to see anything. It appears she landed in the middle of the ocean and she could sense that a storm was coming.
Then it all started to come back to her. Regina! She did this! Oh I swear when I get out of this I'm going to… Emma didn't have long to think before a big wave crashed over her. Underwater Emma tried to swim to the surface. All she could see was dark blue water around her. She kept swimming until she managed to put her head above the water. She took a big breath just before the second wave hit her even harder. Great.. landing in the middle of a storm, Emma thought. She kept swimming, taking breaths in between waves, trying to keep her strength up. Slowly Emma started to panic. She sure wouldn't be able to keep going like this.
She started yelling en splashing around whenever she reached the surface. Another wave, another breath, lungs slowly filling with seawater. 'Help!', Emma yelled as loudly as she could. 'Someone please help me!'. Another big wave crashed down on her. Emma was pushed underwater for a minute. Just as she thought about giving up she reached the top again. She could hear a voice screaming from above. 'Hold on, lass!'.
She kept swimming, trying to keep her head above the water, but failing miserably. She was getting tired. 'Come on, love. You got this, just grab the robe.', Emma heard the man shouting to her. She reached around her until she eventually felt something. She held onto it with all her might. Another wave crashed over her and she realised she was holding the end of a robe. She felt herself being pulled towards something. She kept trying to go up, to take a breath, but she was unable to. The water was rough and she was out of energy, her lungs burning. Just as she was about to give up she felt the rope being pulled up. She held onto it and reached the surface. With a loud gasp she was finally able to take a breath, sputtering water everywhere. 'There you go love, just hold on'.
Emma took a second to look around, she was still in the water, however before her eyes she saw a ship. The wind and waves where still crashing around her, slamming her against the ship. Her shoulder was screaming in pain after hitting the hard wood. 'Climb the ladder!' 'Quickly!', shouted a man who was standing on top of the ship. Emma couldn't see him but she did see a ladder being thrown along the side of the ship.
Using every bit of strength she had left, she climbed the ladder. Just when she was about to reach the top, a hand was stretched out to her. Emma hesitated for a second but then felt a big wave crashing against the ship. She quickly reached up for the hand, before she lost her balance, and felt herself being pulled aboard the ship. She used her other hand to climb over the railing. She looked up and looked into the bluest eyes she had ever seen. 'Bad day for swimming, huh?', the man said while smirking at her. Emma rolled her eyes just before she collapsed on the deck.
When Emma opened her eyes she didn't have much time to look around before she started coughing up water. Her lungs were burning and she could feel her whole body fighting to get rid of all the salty water that she inhaled. 'That's it lass. Get it all out', said a man standing right in front of Emma. She looked up to see who was speaking but immediately regretted the decision. In front of her was a tall guy with dark hair and a beard. Emma would be lying if she didn't admit that he was quite handsome. What made her regret looking though was the fact that he was holding a sword in one hand, pointed towards her and his other hand was replaced by a shining silver hook. Around him where over 15 guys looking at her making her feel uncomfortable. Thank god she was still wearing her red leather jacket and not just her white shirt which sure would be see through from all the water.
Wait a second.. Thought Emma. 'You've got to be kidding me', Emma whispered. 'What's that love, couldn't quite hear you?', the man with the hook said. 'You're Hook? As is Captain Hook from Peter Pan? Is this a joke?'. The mans expression instantly turned dark and he pointed the sword right towards her, until the tip lightly touched her throat. 'Ah, so you've heard of me? Did that demon Peter Pan send you here? Would you be stupid enough to work for that monster? Stand up!', he barked at her.
Emma stood up as best as she could with the sword still dangerously close. 'Alright relax, I've never even met Peter Pan, nor have I met you'.
'Yet you know my name', said Hook. 'So either you're working for him or you are some sort of witch. Either way, wouldn't want to take the risk'. Hook took a step back and looked over at some other guy that was standing right behind Emma. He nodded and the guy quickly grabbed Emma's arms.
Emma felt her hands being pulled back and tied up in rope. She hissed in pain as this caused her sore shoulder to be pulled back. She tried to fight the guy behind her and kicked until she heard the satisfying 'pop and yell' meaning she hit him where it counts. Another guy ran towards her and Emma kept fighting. She kicked him twice, once on the knee and once in his stomach. The man fell down with a grunt. She used her legs to kick everything she had access to. Hook didn't move at all, taking quite an interest in the fighting blonde that had already won from four of his crew members. Within seconds though multiple guys standing on deck took over and made sure she was tied up and unable to fight any longer. They held a small knife up against her throat making sure she would stay still. Emma heard Hook chuckle. 'That was quite the show lass. Too bad it's over now'.
He walked towards her until they were nose to nose. 'Now why don't you tell me where you came from and how you know me'. Emma looked at Hook with an unimpressed stare.
'I have a better idea. How about you release me and I can go my way trying to go back to where I came from'.
'Hear that guys, the lass actually believes she will get out of here', Hook yelled to his crew. All the guys on the deck bursted out in laughter. Emma kept her stare strong though, looking directly in Hook's eyes. That was until Hook whispered; 'You're not going anywhere, love' Then she felt something hit her head and she was out cold.
