Chapter Two: Where's Tori?

Charming, California

The sun was giving off a beautiful view as it continues to slowly descend over the horizon. Tori stood in her exact spot, mouth agape once again upon meeting Jason Nathan West. At that moment, a spark lit inside her heart, but it was not one of strong romantic feelings. It is one that she would not discover until later in life, all she knew was that she felt that she needed to become friends with Jason. She was snapped of her trance by Jason literally snapping his fingers in front of her.

"Hey, are you okay?" Jason asked watching Tori compose herself.

"Sorry, it's like I know you from somewhere." Tori replied. "Have we met before?" Tori asked. Jason only shook his head no in response as Danny, Rob, Marcus, Andy, and Joey encircled the pair and spoke to Danny's younger sister.

"I don't think you have before, Tori. Jason is Charming through and through." Danny said.

"Hell yeah. Jason says he was born and raised here his entire life." Joey added to the conversation.

"Supposedly, his parents died in a car accident when was just a baby. He lives and is raised by his Godfather and Godmother." Marcus stated. Tori watched Jason nod his head in response, she felt sad to hear he never even met his parents or if he had any siblings he didn't know about. Rob and Andy patted their leader's back in comfort before speaking to their new friend.

"No siblings at all. And no relatives from any side of his family that he knows." Rob spoke up.

"Despite that, he's got us to call his family." Andy said wrapping an arm around Jason's shoulder. Jason chuckled, which in turn brought a smile to Tori before hearing the young man speak.

"I'm really thankful I got a crew like Danny and these guys. And I apologize for not asking your name until now. It's nice to meet you Victoria." Jason said calling Tori by her full name.

"Wow, you're actually the first person to call me by full name. You don't have to apologize for being rude. And call me Tori, please." Tori replied.

"My sister just moved here from L.A." Danny added while wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"Shit. Why would a city girl move to a small town like Charming?" Jason asked trying to wrap his mind around Tori moving to Charming. Rob, Marcus, Andy, and Joey waited for Tori to answer Jason, which she did after taking a breath and spoke to Jason.

"Well a new principal just came to Hollywood Arts, my old school, and her first order of business was to have all the students re-audition to stay in." Tori said with Jason and the boys following along. "All of my friends and myself performed our re-auditions for the new principal. I poured my heart and soul in my performance. Everyone passed their re-auditions but…" Tori didn't finish as Jason took over that moment and finished her long explanation.

"You failed your re-audition." Jason said. Tori just nodded in sadness; a bit surprised Jason quickly picked up on everything that happened. As if answering the question in her mind, Rob stated an important fact about their leader just for Tori.

"Jason's a smartass. I tested him; his IQ is over 160. The same goes for all of us." Rob said.

"Plus, he is called the Prince of Charming." Andy said with a shrug. Tori wanted to ask until Joey stopped her and gave her answer.

"We'll tell you later." Joey explained.

"Going back to what Tori said. After being kicked out of Hollywood Arts, my parents gave my aunt and uncle a call about transferring to our school. They submitted Tori's audition to Principal Roberts and he immediately accepted her." Danny finished Tori's explanation. Jason and the boys nodded in unison and gave smiles to Tori, lifting her spirits up once again in this eventful day.

"I'm guessing she starts tomorrow, right Danny?" Marcus asked with an amused expression.

"Damn right." Danny responded.

"Shouldn't you two be hauling ass home right now?" Andy questioned. Speaking of which, Joey checked the skies to see purple across it and checked his watch to see it was a quarter pass 8:30pm.

"Ah, we got time. School doesn't start until eight in the morning." Joey retorted. Rob checked his watch as well and showed the time to Andy to make sure about it.

"Don't stress over it." Rob said.

"Speaking of school, I'll tell you right away Tori about our school." Jason said catching Tori's attention. "Booker T. Washington High School for Performing Arts is one of the top performing arts high school in the nation. I guaranteed you will immediately fit in tomorrow once you walk through those doors." Jason exclaimed. Just from the positive tone in Jason's voice caused Tori to become eager of attending Booker T. Washington right now.

"Hell yeah, sis. It's going to be almost like Hollywood Arts." Danny added. Tori took a moment to see the friendship between Jason and Danny, she understood why the pair are best friends. Rob, Marcus, Andy, and Joey played around with the pair; showing Tori that the boys have strong friendships amongst each other. She was already getting a vibe on her first day with the boys.

"Alright, I'm feeling ready to take on this town." Tori said. The crew spend their final minutes talking and getting to know each other until nine o'clock pm. Tori and Danny said their goodbyes to Jason, Rob, Marcus, Andy, and Joey until school tomorrow morning. The siblings made it in record time and entered the house to see Aunt Laura and Uncle Hector getting ready for bed.

"Oh Tori, your room is all set up." Uncle Hector said. Intrigued by his words, Tori instantly went to her new room with her brother's room across the hall. Tori and Danny were amazed by how fast their aunt and uncle had set up Tori's new room. All her clothes were neatly folded in the drawers of her dresser and closet. Her personal belongings were set on the bedside table and her new bed, a queen, was ready with her favorite pink/purple sheets under her blankets and pillows.

"Oh shit. Our aunt and uncle set everything up fast." Tori said amazed by the work they did.

"No bullshitting. You got to love them because of it." Danny added with a smirk. He grabbed and tossed the towels that rested on her bed and pointed at the shower by the corner.

"Ladies first. You love taking your sweet ass time." Danny stated while heading for the door.

"Oh, eat me Danny." Tori replied.

"I would, if you had meat on your bones." Danny joked. Tori playfully threw her pillow as her brother closed her door and sat down, admiring her new home. It was a lot to take in for the young lady, so she laid down to stare at the ceiling. At times like this, she really wishes Trina or one of her friends were staying for the night. Charming was already living up to its name and it was just starting for Tori Vega. Sitting back up swiftly, Tori headed to her shower and stripped off clothes.

"I don't want Danny bitching." Tori giggled to herself. Turning on her shower and letting the water warm up, Tori stepped in and washed away her troubles. Thoughts ran through her mind; about her parents, Trina, her friends, and the girl she fell in love with Jade. She thought about Jade the most during and after she was done showering. Stepping out wrapping a towel around her and her hair, Tori sat down on her bed and checked her phone for any messages.

"Shit, I had my phone on silent." Tori said to herself. Turning the ringer back on, Tori saw over a dozen messages, mostly from her parents and friends. Setting her phone down for a moment, Tori walked to dresser to pick out her matching purple bra/panties and her pajamas. Sitting back down on her bed, Tori answered the messages she received from her parents with a small smile.

"At least you two still care about me." Tori said replying to her parents' texts. Hearing knocking from her door, Tori rolled her eyes as she knew it was Danny wanting to come in.

"Come in Danny." Tori announced loudly. Opening the door, Danny came in dressed in a grey undershirt and black basketball shorts while taking a seat next to Tori.

"What's up sis?" Danny asked kindly. Tori's answer was showing her phone to her brother, the boy seeing the messages perfectly clear. Danny noticed the messages she received from her old friends back in Los Angeles.

"What did your old friends ask you?" Danny questioned.

"Besides Jade not texting me, the others asked how I did on my audition." Tori answered. Danny watched Tori stare at her phone, contemplating whether answer the texts. Danny placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, causing Tori to look at her brother. Going back to her phone, Tori sighed to herself and deleted the messages from her friends.

"I can't. I don't want them to feel sorry." Tori explained.

"You sure about this decision?" Danny asked again, receiving a nod in response.

"Yes. This is my new beginning. I can't turn back now." Tori replied. Danny smiled before checking the time and standing up to walk back to the door.

"Get some sleep sis. We got a big day tomorrow." Danny said. Tori gave her brother an encouraging smile while watching him leave her room. Turning off her table lamp, Tori pulled the blankets off her bed and sank into her new bed. In a few minutes, Tori slowly closed her eyes and drift off to a peaceful sleep dreaming about her future in Charming, California. Jade was in her dreams, doing nothing but kissing and making sweet love to Tori while the sun sets over them.

The sun had risen over Charming, birds were chirping, the skies are blue, and Tori Vega is slowly waking up. Opening her beautiful brown eyes, Tori sat up and stretched in her bed feeling refreshed. Seeing the sun poking through her curtains, Tori stood up to do more stretches and made her way to her bathroom. After brushing and styling hair in curls, also brushing her teeth, Tori headed over to her closet to pick out her outfit.

"First day at my new school, I have to make it count." Tori said aloud. In minutes, Tori was dressed in black skinny jeans, a blue long-sleeve shirt, and completed it with a matching black jacket and boots. Tori pulled out her school bag from Hollywood Arts, stopping for a moment to have old memories plague her mind. She stood in front of her mirror just staring at herself, a brief image of someone she's never seen. Tori was brought out of her funk by her brother knocking on her door.

"Come in." Tori replied. Tori watched her brother come in through her mirror, curiosity quickly taking over her face. She turned around to see her brother dressed in navy-blue denim jeans, black Nike Air Forces with a matching navy-blue hooded jacket. The only thing Tori noticed from Danny's outfit was his blue shirt, specifically the white text she has never seen before from her brother. Danny felt awkward by the silence until Tori finally broke it and spoke up.

"Danny…the shirt." Tori said pointing. Danny looked down at his shirt before smiling at Tori.

"SAMCRO." Danny answered proudly.

"SAMCRO?" Tori questioned with a curious expression. Danny wanted to speak but decided against it, well at least not in the morning.

"Don't worry Tori. The guys and I will tell after school." Danny retorted. Feeling that's the only answer she will receive; Tori shrugged her shoulders and followed her brother out the room. The siblings met their aunt and uncle, who prepared fresh breakfast sandwiches for the pair. Uncle Hector tossed the keys to Danny's car as the siblings grabbed their breakfast and headed out the door. Aunt Laura and Uncle Hector stopped the pair to say their goodbyes for the day.

"Have a great first day of school, Tori." Uncle Hector announced.

"Watch your sister's back, Danny. Understand?" Aunt Laura said to Danny.

"Yes ma'am." Danny replied taking a bite from his sandwich.

"See you later." Tori said. The siblings head to Danny's car, a 2007 red Chevrolet Camaro SS with black pinstripes. Entering the car, Tori fasten her seatbelt as Danny put his on and started the engine. Tori laughed as Danny rubbed and petted his car as if it was a precious jewel.

"That's right baby, I love it when you purr for me." Danny said.

"It's best you give it head after dinner." Tori joked. Danny laughed as he backed out of the driveway and drove to school. In minutes, Tori saw her new school, Booker T. Washington, through the windshield and became awestruck. Her new school was nearly twice as large as Hollywood Arts and the number of students also doubling in population. Danny pulled up to the student parking lot, a wave of nervousness hitting Tori hard.

"Nervous Tori?" Danny asked seeing his tensed sister.

"Yeah I am." Tori responded. Danny held his sister's hand and gave it a tight squeeze, assuring Tori she's not alone anymore.

"It's okay, sis. I got your back no matter what." Danny reminded. Feeling huge weight off her shoulders, feeling this is what she needed back at Hollywood Arts, Tori and Danny exited the car and locked it with his car alarm. The siblings made their way to the steps of the school before pausing at the doors. Danny turned to his sister to prepare for his sister's eventful day.

"I'm ready, Danny." Tori said. Pushing doors wide open, Danny turned and smiled at Tori before officially welcoming her to Booker T. Washington High School for Performing Arts.

"Welcome to Booker T. High." Danny said as they entered the school.

Hollywood Arts

Hollywood Arts is getting ready for another wonderful day of school. Entering the school was our favorite goth Jade West dressed in all black while carrying her traditional cup of coffee. When she reached her locker, Jade felt a strong, unpleasant sense wavering over the area. The other students passing by went unnoticed of the feeling, but Jade felt it grow. Something was not right, and Jade got a good picture of what the problem is and immediately headed straight to the source.

"Vega?" Jade said. Reaching her spot, Jade no longer saw the annoying locker that lit up the school. Instead, she saw an empty locker with no personality whatsoever in the middle of all the art. Jade double check everything inside and out before slamming the locker in annoyance/anger. Jade huffed to herself just in time for Beck, Andre, Robbie, and Cat walking up with sad expressions.

"Hey Jade." Beck said kissing her cheek.

"Okay, I give. Where the hell is Vega?" Jade asked in anger. She had no idea why she was so angry suddenly, almost as if she felt hurt in some way.

"Tori…is not here anymore." Andre sadly exclaimed.

"What do you mean not here anymore?" Jade questioned the musician.

"Tori's gone. She transferred schools." Cat said wiping away a few stray tears. Jade could not believe her ears, were her friends telling the truth. Did she hear Tori transferred schools and did not tell anyone about it?

"Yeah, Principal Helen told us. She failed her re-audition, another school accepted her." Robbie added to the conversation. Hearing those words, Jade felt lost for a minute before a smile slowly formed on her lips. Beck, Andre, Robbie, and Cat watched in shock as Jade started laughing in joy and did a small dance. Jade danced in joy and excitement as she released her happiness.

"Yes! Vega's gone! I don't have to deal with that annoying bitch anymore. Finally, the school belongs to me now." Jade announced loudly to the school. With that, Jade walked off to her first class while swaying her hips for the crowd. Beck, Andre, Robbie, and Cat stood in shock after what transpired with the goth.

"What just happened?" Robbie asked.

"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling it's going to get worse." Beck stated. They all had one question in mind: why Tori, why?
