Subject woke up at 6.15, went for a jog, came back at 7.23, took a shower.
7.35 the subject woke up the kid.
7.55 subject has left the apartment with the kid.
Since Carol saw Kelly the day before, she was communicating better. She even blew a kiss to Alex when she said goodbye before school.
Suddenly her phone rang: "Alex, there's an emergency, I need you here as soon as possible!" it was J'onn's voice!
"I'm coming," where else but The Tower could he need her? Suddenly, before she assured herself, the call was ended. Sensing danger, Alex rushed to her car. But then quickly stopped. Something was fishy, she checked her phone once again, the call was from an unknown number, but J'onn was in her contacts. His photo would show as the caller's ID.
She dialled the real J'onn contact, as soon as she heard him pick it up, she started: "J'onn, did you just call me?"
"What? No, last time I called you was yesterday before the training,"
"Alright,"
"Alex, is something wrong?"
"I'll call you back,"
What was going on? Suddenly she felt as cold water was poured all over her. She turned around and ran into the school, Carol might be in danger!
"Carol? Carol!" she ran through the hallways and shouted her name, what class was she in? She knew what her timetable was, didn't she? She had it in her phone!
8.25 Subject received the fake call.
8.26 Subject called someone.
8.27 Subject sprinted inside the building.
Class 302, that was two levels above, she took the stairs and tried to scan the hallways for Carol. If anything happened to her, she would never forgive herself! "Carol!"
Room 306, 304, 302! There it was!
She barged into the classroom and tried to find her. The room was full of kids shouting, playing, trying to do their homework in the last minute, it all stopped, and the class fell silent.
For a few seconds, she couldn't find her, she didn't see her hair in a ponytail and when Carol looked up, it took Alex four excruciating seconds to find her eyes.
"Carol!"
She was quiet.
"Oh god, oh god, you're alright," she went to her and the whole class remained silent, "I was so afraid!" Alex was babbling and once she reached Carol's desk, she didn't know what to do, Carol didn't move, she just stared at Alex and didn't do a thing.
"Excuse me," said someone from behind her back, "the class is about to start, you need to leave," Alex didn't know what to do, but she knew what not to do, she will not let Carol from her sight, "Excuse me, miss Danvers," tried the teacher once again.
"Carol, honey, please pack your things, we need to go home," Alex said, the teacher was silent, Carol just took her notebook and backpack and left with Alex, not saying a word, "thank you, I'm sorry, good bye." Said Alex.
The halls were suddenly silent, there wasn't a single soul, Alex took her hand and they went to the car, not saying a word.
8.34 Subject has left the building holding hands with the kid.
8.36 Subject drove off with the kid.
9.15 Subject entered the apartment with the kid.
9.18 Subject called someone. Call was ended two minutes later.
9.23 Supergirl in civil clothes arrived.
"Alex?" Kara picked up the phone quite quickly,
"Kara, this really weird thing happened, J'onn called me from an unknown number," Alex was pacing in the apartment, Carol sat in front of the TV, because that was a safe spot where no one could see her from the outside, "and he only said , that there's some kind of emergency and that he needs me there. He didn't say where, I thought that it was in The Tower, but he ended the call abruptly,"
"Do you think something happened to J'onn?"
"No, I called him right after that and it wasn't him! I think that someone is trying to target me or Carol," Alex looked at the girl who just followed her with her gaze, "Please, just come over? I'm afraid something will happen to her,"
"On my way,"
Alex put the phone in her pocket and sat next to Carol, the girl was scared. It was just a phone call, but god knows what kind of trap she could've walked into.
"Kid, auntie Kara will be here in a few minutes, we need to take some extra precautions."
"Why?"
"Because we might be in danger," someone was at the door, Alex took her gun even though she was against Carol seeing her with it and looked who knocked. It was Kara, Alex relaxed.
"Are you OK?" she asked immediately, Alex nodded and went over to the kid.
"Carol, you remember auntie Kara, you've seen her four days ago when we went to se the movie!" Carol nodded, Alex then turned to Kara, "We need to get her somewhere safe,"
"Alex, you need to calm down," she sat her down onto the sofa, "are you sure it was J'onn, you heard? Isn't it possible that it was a mistake?"
"Kara, I've heard him loud and clear, he even knew my name,"
"Who could possibly want to do anything to you?"
"Maybe not me, maybe I'm just… Maybe he wants to hurt you, or Kelly. Oh my God, Kelly! I didn't call her! She knows nothing!"
"Alex, Alex!" Kara held her sister close and tried to calm her down, "We will call Kelly once the immediate situation is solved, what do we do?"
They agreed that the kid must leave the apartment, Kara will take her to J'onn until the caller is found and will stay there in case there were more of them targeting Carol.
Alex in the meantime will check her apartment for bugs and cameras. They'll meet at The Tower once she's finished.
10.12 Supergirl left with the kid.
10.13 Subject was trying to find any bugs or cameras.
11.27 Subject found The Kitchen camera in a corkscrew.
11.44 Subject found The Door camera in the hanger.
12.12 Subject found The Child's Room bug behind the bed.
"Oh god, how many more?" with each camera Alex sunk deeper and deeper into her fears. Someone was watching her and her loved ones.
Again.
She has to call Kelly. But the moment the thought entered her brain, her phone chimed. It was Kara.
"Kara?"
"Alex, where are you?"
"I've found some bugs and cameras," she sat on her kid's bed, "there must be more, Kara, they must know everything!"
Indeed, I did.
12.16 Subject received a phone call lasting two minutes.
12.18 Subject was shot with a tranquilizing dart.
12.20 Subject was taken from the apartment.
19.38 Subject woke up.
