Kakashi's silver hair glistened under the sunshine. His whole body was tense and alert as he sensed danger nearby. Sure enough, the nin-dogs all started growling at someone in the shadows before them. "San," someone yelled from the back of the group and all the ANBU shinobe's vanished in a second. Kakashi narrowed his eyes, something was wrong, but he didn't know what is was. "Ha, Konoha's ANBU is trying to stop us Sasori, I'll blow them up with my art! Un!" A sharp voice laughed manically, while hundreds of kunai were pelted towards the source of sound. Surprisingly, none hit its target. "Copy ninja Kakashi, son of shirokiba. You'll pay for what your father did!" a much lower booming voice suddenly spoke above Kakashi. The jonin just managed to evade a huge sharp blade cutting him in half. He swiftly jumped over the attacker and was met by a dozen senbons being fired at his face. Kakashi blocked them just in time before the next wave of attack came and he was swept off of his feet by a tail like metallic weapon. Luckily for him, 3 ANBU's came to the aid and momentarily shielded him, before 2 of them met their end by a blade going through their hearts.
The Jonin finally took a good look at his opponent. It was none other than the infamous red sand Sasori, who killed hundreds of shinobe's mercilessly with his puppets. "Chiridori!" A blue electrical current formed in his hand, as he dashed towards the murderer. Just when he was inched away from shattering the man, flame erupted from the puppet's mouth engulfing him in fire. Kakashi fell to the ground in pain before putting the fire out with water jutsu. The puppet landed right beside him and continued its assault with flame. As the fire reached Kakashi, and he laid there writhing in pain, a familiar sound called out from his side. "Mokuton!" A masked man shouted, and wood sprouted out from the ground blocking the flame. "Thanks Yamato" Kakashi uttered with gratitude as he was pulled away from the battlefield. "Let's get you out of here" just as Yamato said that they heard a loud shout of "Katsu!" as a bright yellow explosion swallowed the forest in front of them. The pained cries of shinobe's before their fatality echoed through the woods.
"Tsunade slammed down onto the table which broke in half, "So you are telling me that all 6 ANBU members I sent are dead, and Kakashi is seriously wounded?!" Yamato wasn't sure if that was a rhetorical question so he decided to just nod his head. "Shizune, I want all the imformation I could get about Sasori and that explosive man. We can't let them hurt our Konoha." The assistant of the hokage scurried out of the office, carrying back a scroll with her. "Sasori, Deidara," She read, "are members of the group Akatsuki." "Akatsuki?" Tsunade's eyes widened in horror, "The murderous gang of Akatsuki! This is not good, they have enough power to bring a country down… Why are they in Konoha?!" There was an uncomfortable silence before Shizune answered, "It seems like apart from being mercenaries, their primary target is to gather Bijus. Nibi from Kumo gakure has already been captured along with jinchuuriki once again, filled the room. "They are looking for that Uzumaki brat." an ancient voice spoke up from the side of the room. It was Koharu, the elderly council of Konoha. "If they want the jinchuuriku, then why not give them the jinchuuriku? We could kill two birds with one stone." Yamato winced at this, he didn't personally know Naruto, but handing them over to serial killers just seemed a bit wrong. He was just going to say something before he remembered that they wouldn't listen to him. "I…I suppose you're right, baba. We won't have deal with Akatsuke, or Naruto, if we just hand him over." The hokage looked thoroughly convinced. "Yamato!" The shinobi suddenly jumped at the sound of his name being called. "Yes… yes hokage-sama," "I want you to escort Naruto out of the village first thing tomorrow morning!" Yamato sighed, and replied somewhat reluctantly, "Yes hokage-sama."
Sasori hadn't felt pity or sympathy in a long time. But he couldn't stop himself from feeling saddened by knowing that Akatsuki would have to kill Naruto. They were alike, the boy and him, both losing their parents, both having to conceal strong emotional feelings. The hokage of Konoha has sent a message via ANBU telling him that they would hand over the boy and to leave them alone. The old man couldn't help but shake his head at the ignorance and unfaithful act of the village. Hopefully, the boy could enjoy his last moments.
