Trembling like a rose on a windy day yet facing against foes till only their carcasses remain, quick to follow the story and cleverly performing every needed task… It's kind of in Sarah's superb curriculum vitae.

And gentle flowers may be plucked on a sudden whim, but our Champion was resilient, unencumbered by any dream, that may surpass her morality…

On a steel cold cage of wonder were old wishes torned asunder, for they lacked that distinct principle, to separate from the wicked, tentalizing inner desires. They consist of dark and murky places of her core, where the pain was like an ocean swallowing her whole.

Where the cry of a desperate babe would generate a mocking tenderness, a guise of old, to lift her like a life line and bring her to the shore.

She remembers how fantasies turned to life, how a certain king of lore came into her bedroom, not bothering to use the door, and scaring her out of her wits. Shining bright, exquisite, regal , in love with a silly girl… he was Sarah's teenage dream come true.

But he had a black heart wanting to abscond with her cherub of a baby brother, to strangle her with a red-black viper and joy he also brought minions along to scare her at every turn…

Or was she the evil villain for wishing Tobes away? Sarah could not say yes nor nay.

But she will always remember the dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, the delicious yet toxic taste of the peach…

Why was sayd pompous peacock of a King, ruining her peace and probably tempting her little brother with his insidious lies?

"Tobey…how many times did I tell you not to let creepy strangers into our home?"

"Strangers? How you wound, cruel thing."

"Sar, I know it doesn't seem like it, but the dude's here to help us out. He's cool."

"Forgive me for not trusting the judgement of a twelve year old shrimp."

"Uncalled for!"

"I leave you alone for five minuts and now some magical Goblin King is summoned into our house?!"

"If I may interrupt the riveting sibling spat, the Goblin King sayd, I indeed have a way to help you precious."

"Forget it Jareth, you have nothing that interests us" Sarah sayd and moved towards Tobey protectively, like a lioness defending her cub.

"Nothing? Tra la la? Than how do you explain the magical –creature trouble you've been having lately, precious thing?"

"I managed to defeat them just fine."

"Oh, truly? What are you going to do now little girl, sleep with a penknife under your pillow? You do know magical creatures are not like weeds, they won't simply go away using such a feeble method. And what if their intended target happens to be our young little friend again, and you just happen to be in a completely different place?"

Sara gasped and closed her eyes in pain and turmoil.

"Is it free?"

"I beg you pardon,, precious."

"Is your help free ? Sarah asked, seething.

" Why of course, anything for my favourite little enemy."

The tension was so thick, it could be cut with a knife. That is why Tobey decided to intervene.

"Will you be taking us to the castle at the center of the Labyrinth?"

"Sharp lad, you must take after your sister." the Goblin King sayd smiling.

And with those words the King teleported them away in a whirlwind of magic and glittery glory.

They left their dear home, flew the nest, entered the rabbit hole, into a whole new dimension unknown, well in Toby's case at least.

The palace was spooky yet opulent , carvet in bronze- coloured stone with golden, shimmery towers. A far cry from the white -marbled, encrusted in gemstones marvel Tobey had in mind…yet still impressive.

"Stand by me, the path is tricky", he told as he lead them from a maze-like place to a luxurious livingroom with golden, plushy chairs, a hot, welcoming chimney and sparkling silverware. They were so shiny , Tobey could see his reflection in them…

"If you are done inspecting my cutlery, young Tobias..."

"Uh, sorry", Tobey says and puts the spoons back.

"Let us cut to the reason you are here is because the Labyrinth is not functioning at his maximum capacity and dear Sarah here is the only one capable of unlocking it, shall we say."

"So you do have ulterior motives!" sayd Sarah triumphantly

" You see, I have an inkling that last time you were here you and young Tobias absorbed some of the Labirinth's powers and that is the reason for your pesky mythological problem. As for only helping you for my gain, quid pro quo precious, although, I confess , a simple plea from your sweet, rosy lips would have convinced me just as swiftly"

Sarah blushed red as a tomato.

"Wait so me and Sar aquaired magical powers? Wicked! We can see supernatural beasts, what else can we do? I've always wanted to fly…"

"It doesn't make sense. I defeated your Labyrinth a long time ago, why are they chasing me now of all times?"

" Perhaps it's they wish to test their powers against the famed girl who ate the peach but were to cowardly to act sooner?" Jareth says voice full of irony

"Or perhaps it is linked with your relationship to the Labirinth"

Just then a small, wrinkled goblin entered the room .

"Your majesty (sayd reluctantly) there is an emergency in sector C of the underground"

"Hoggle!" Sarah sayd with love and enthusiasm.

"Sarah?!" Hoggle asked surprised.

They embraced each other tightly. It might have lasted a minut, it might have lasted hours, it was soon interrupted by Jareth's jealous voice

"How many times have I told you not to bother me in my living quarters , Hogbreath?

"His name is Hoggle!" Sarah defended him.

Jareth acted as if he did not hear her than sayd "Sarah, I need a word"

"Hoggle, Tobes try to befriend each other, I'll be back soon"

"I don't trust the rat" Hoggle sayd

"Such impertinence, Hogbreath, perhaps you miss The Bog of Eternal Stench?"

Sarah dragged Jareth away.

"What was it that you sayd about my relationship with the Labyrinth. And why is it weak, it's not like I leeched all it's powers from it."

"Precious thing, you are, as I have sayd the only one able to restore the Labyrinth to it's former glory. As for the reason for it's pitiful state, I'm afraid war drains on everbody , even inanimate, magical objects."

"War?"

"Currently it is protecting the city and the castle but the forests have already been invaded, I'm afraid"

"You did not answer my question Jareth, who are you fighting against, oppressors who say you cannot have your own glittery lingery line?"

"I beg you not underestimate the enemy and make fun of the fate of our brave, fallen soldiers precious."

Sarah felt slightly guilty.

"Our adversary, the light elves of Alfheim are humanoid beings affiliated with the Fae, associated with fertility and the cult of the ancestors."

"Weren't they usually considered benign, why are they attacking you ?" Sarah asked with her best "what have you done" face.

-" Nothing to incur such wrath I assure you. The truth is they felt threatened by the Labyrinth , because they believe it will eventually draw power from the forests of their realm, despite the fact that the Labyrinth uses sacrifice for their main power."

"Human sacrifice?!" Sarah asked horrified.

"No precious, simply sacrifice. Did you really think you were the only one who found the blasted book and somehow managed to utter the correct words? Suffice to say the other runners were not as fortunate as you…"

"Explain" Sarah demanded, still frightened.

"Most runners ended up transformed into goblins instead of the person they wished ill against, by making a deal with me. Other runners had to live forever with the knowledge that because of their cruel desires, one of their most precious family members were turned into goblins and others were given as pleasure slaves to appease the other kingdoms. Strangely enough, the light elves did not complain back then…"

"That's inhuman!"

"My dear Champion, fighting for eternal justice…" Jareth sayd fondly then kissed her in the blink of an eye.

Sarah was surprised, angry and, strangely, a little jubilant. His lips were plump and warm, his arms coiled protectively around her. He looked like he wanted to keep her away from the entire world…to drink her in.

Tobey came running into the corridor and asked :"Sar, do you know if there's any food around here?"

Tobey caught them red handed, he closed his eyes and muttered "Ewww, cooties. Better him than me."

"I knew I shouldn't have left her alone with him." Hoggle sayd, resigned
