As McGonagal stood there watching the young witch cry in fright and her friends gather around to see if she would be something tickled her senses. McGonanagall had heard rumors on a bad divorce between Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. And from what little she has picked up through the Daily Prophet she has seen the Granger had gone through hell. But looking at the young witch now she could first hand what every one had been meaning by Hermione wasn't no where near being healed. With a deepening pain filled oath she said "Potter get her to my office. Quickly."

Standing Harry nodded "yes ma'am." Helping a weakened Hermione to her feet he lead her to McGonagal's office and then letting her sit down he shut the door. He had known Hermione might fall apart. But now he was wondering if this the right time to even be bringing Hermione back to Hogwarts.

Sitting in one of the chairs Hermione closed her eyes as she breathed in deep. She hadn't been expecting to be spooked so bad by Professor McGonagal. Shaking herself said softly" You can go now Harry. I am sorry to be taking your time away from Ginny and everyone." She scootched back in the chair and then became silent as she thought back to times when she had saved both Ron and Harry from their own stupid egos. However, thinking Ron still brought her a lot of pain. She has been pregnant at the time off the trail. However, after the trail she had fallen ill and it caused her to miscarry. She hadn't told anyone people she didn't want anyone to worry about her.

As he heard the owner of Honey-dukes yell up the stairs "Oi, Malfoy. Stop trodding my damn floor before you trod a blasted hole in it." Malfoy grimaced. He still had to get from the Alumni party up at Hogwarts and wasn't really sure if he wanted to go. He had heard after he had seen the Granger might be there. But that just made the nerves worse. You see, he really deep down liked Hermione. Hell if he was honest you could even say that he deeply admired her. After all he had always thought she was beautiful. Now being out from Lord Voldemort's and his father's thumbs. Draco was officially able to be with whomever he wanted to be with. So yeah. He was nervous about seeing Hermione after all of these years.

Harry turned and looked at Hermione. Noticing that she looked defeated and just tired he knew that look when she got into her own head. He watched that same look come across her beautiful face while they had been pupils here at Hogwarts. Now though when he saw it her saw a side of Hermione that he his friend had managed to keep hidden. As he stood there watching her her heard foot steps approaching and eased his hand over his wand as the door started to slowly swing opened. Hearing McGonagall's voice he rehid his wand waited.

Opening her office McGonagall called saying "It is I potter, Granger." Stepping into her office her eyes went directly to the chair in front of her fire place which was occupied by Granger. In an unnatural show of bitter distress she ran her hand lightly through her hair and sighed deeply. She was unsure of how to face this problem but facing it was needed. Going behind her desk she sat down and clearing her thraot loudly she said "Get a chair Potter. Granger, I require you to be part of this conversation as well. So pull that chair over here."
