I rubbed my head as I sat up. I was in Ryou's house. At least we have that. I looked around to find Ryou but he wasn't in the room. I stood up and found my way downstairs and found Ryou eating from a cereal box. Breakfast time already?

I snatched the box from him and grabbed a bowl before pouring him a bowl of breakfast and shoving the bowl into his hands. He had been disappointed but now he was happy. I don't really have the time to deal with a four year old. I poured myself some breakfast before beginning to chomp down.

When I was finished, I sat there, thinking. I grabbed the ring around my neck and stared at it. My first instinct was to go searching for all the Items. Ryou already trusts me, so I don't need anything from him. There's nothing I can get from him. He's useless. Why don't we go see Yugi? We'll get the Puzzle.

"Ryou." I called at him as he finished his breakfast. He looked up at me, smiling. "Want to go see Yugi?"

"Yes please." Ryou answered. I stood and headed for the door. Ryou scrambled off the table and quickly grabbed hold of my robe. I groaned. I forgot how clingy Ryou could be.

"You better not run off." I warn him. He just nodded. I led Ryou down street after street until we reached Yugi's house. I snatched Ryou by his hand as he ran to knock at the door. "Don't be so foolish!" I snapped at him. I dragged him back to me before throwing him over my shoulder. "Hold on tight." I ordered before going around the back and beginning to climb.

Ryou did as he was told when he realized what was happening. He clung hard onto my robe as we climbed to the roof. There I quickly set about to finding the window to Yugi's room. I opened the window before throwing Ryou in. I jumped in, rolling to keep from getting injured.

I was just beginning to search for the Puzzle when I heard Yugi's voice. "What are you doing?"

"I decided I'd let Ryou come see you." I replied easily.

"You could have just come through the front door you know."

"Yes. And in the process kill your Grandpa with a heart attack."

"Yeah… not a good idea." I heard a patter of little feet and saw Pharaoh come in. "Ryou?"

"I'm surprised. You aren't scared of me?" I asked, interested.

"If I want to know Ryou, I have to know you. Besides, Pharaoh's usually here."

"Well right now, Pharaoh couldn't help you if he wanted to."

"Akie, be nice." Ryou whined.

"I don't take orders from a kid, Ryou. Go tell Yugi hi." Ryou ran to Yugi and Yugi bent down and I couldn't help laughing when Pharaoh shoved Ryou away from Yugi, complaining about Yugi being his and only his. However, I stopped finding it funny when Ryou actually began to sob, having fallen. I snatched him up before cradling him to my chest and jumping out the window and onto the roof. I sat and held Ryou to me, shushing him, rubbing his back as I did so. When he finished, I kissed the top of his forehead as I always have. I jumped down and headed back to the house, comforting Ryou to get his cries to stop.
