Chapter 2….
I caught up with Nail quickly, (which was no small feat, the dude was moving at insane speed), and we passed the villages quickly. Namekians, old and young waved at me, as I passed. It was… odd. In the series, Namek wasn't this… lively. Although, Namek was being invaded so… understandable.
After passing many villages, Nail and I reached our destination, a gigantic rock pillar the size of a building. At the top, I could see a domed building made of stone. 'Observe' quickly classified the structure.
Grand Elder Guru's Domain:
… The residence of the Grand Elder….
Nail looked at me, in urgency.
"Come on, Ocari! We're almost at Grand Elder's Domain! We can't be late! He specifically picked us for this test!"
Nail suddenly crouched and blasted off the ground to reach the top of the pillar. I looked on in fascination. Man… I could do that too! I closed my eyes and concentrated. I searched for a feeling of power… and… grasped it!
DING!

Unlock your Ki, the energy which powers life!

Suddenly I felt… good! Was this how Ki-user felt all the time?! I could become addicted to this! But anyway… how do I fly? All I saw Nail do was crouch and he…. That's it! I got into a crouch myself and called upon my Ki. Once I felt it, I pushed a small portion of it downwards. I felt myself become lighter as I shot off the ground!
In a few seconds, I reached the top of Guru's place. Cutting off my Ki, I landed on the ground in a three-point crouch. As I stood up, I sensed a bunch of energy signatures, including Nails, inside the building in front of me. Most of them were weaker than me, although Nail and few other Namekians came close to my Power Level There was one energy though, that felt… mystical, if that was a way to put it.
I walked through the open door and was greeted with the stares of fellow Warrior Namekians like myself. My focus then shifted to the one Namek sitting on the throne… holy shit was that Guru! He looked nothing like he did in the show!
Instead of being a large and old Namekian, the Grand Elder looked like the young version of Lord Slug, complete with rippling muscles and imposing presence. He wore the same attire in the Namek Saga and a gigantic wooden staff. His gaze was locked on me, assessing me. His mouth lifted into a smile.
'Observe'
Super Namek: Grand Elder Guru.

'Super Namek…?'
"Hmmm… Young Ocari… so nice of you to finally join us."
"Yeah, sorry Grand Elder Gu—Sir! Sorry, Sir!" I stammered.
Guru softly chuckled, before motioning to a figure standing in the shadows of the building. A stern-faced Namekian stepped out of the shadows. He was comparatively short to us, but his muscles were like boulders. Behind him were a group of other Namekian bodyguards.

"Rise! Today, we have selected the most promising Warrior Namekians across the planet, to have the chance at becoming the esteemed Grand Elder Guru's bodyguard. Whoever wins from the first set of matches, will face another winner. Whoever wins that match, will be granted the position of one of the Grand Elder's Bodyguards. Now…"
Moori took out a bowl filled with slips of parchment. On each slip was a number.
"… When I call your name, come up and take a random slip of paper."
He called each of us up and told us to say our numbers. After a bit of shuffling around, I was matched with someone named…

Well, that's cool. Observe is a useful skill so it would be wise to level it up. I was brought out my thoughts by Moori's booming voice.
"Alright, Ocari and Kuramu follow me. The rest of you will follow the other advisors to have your matches."
Everyone else sat down as Kuramu and I went outside following Moori. We flew to the nearest empty field and landed on the bluegrass. Moori faced us and we spread apart. I took the time to observe Kuramu one more.

Kuramu is a Namekian from the powerful Warrior Clan of the South. He is very serious but gets angered by the slightest of taunts.
Hmm… good to know. Using Energy Sense, I knew he was marginally weaker than me.
Moori lifted his hand, before bringing it down.
"Now… FIGHT!

Kuramu wasted no time and rushed at me with a swift chop. My body reacted on instinct and batted the hit aside and went in with a smooth uppercut. It hit him right on the chin, making him stagger back. With a pivot of my foot, he was sent flying into a set of trees. This… wasn't that hard. I'm not trying to be arrogant but… with this new body, Kuramu just can't compare.
He quickly rushed in and tried to hit me with a flurry of punches of kicks. They seemed powerful, but they were so… slow. I could see him get increasingly angry at my bored expression. Wait… didn't his description mention something about that? That's right… well now let's capitalize on that. Catching his arm and leg mid-attack, I looked him in the eye.
"Why are you even here? I mean, I don't think the Grand elder would want someone so weak to be his bodyguard."
Kuramu's pupils dilated as he snarled at me. In a quick movement, he caught me with a gut punch, stunning me. Immediately, he backhanded into a nearby plateau, shattering in. As the rock tumbled down beside me, I smirked. Now this… was more like it! Kuramu reappeared in front and began to batter me with a barrage of blows. The thing was… it was ineffective. None of the hits even came close to damaging me. Was this how Goku felt like all the time?
"Who weak now, you worm! Now—"
As Kuramu went in for another punch, I caught his fist in a tight grip. As I stood up, I increased the pressure on Kuramu's wrist, bringing him to his knees.
"Yeah… no."
Immediately, I picked him up and slammed him into the ground! Kuramu was immediately knocked unconscious.

Bodyguard Moori reappeared beside me. He looked at me with an unreadable expression. With a wave of a hand, Kuramu was lifted telekinetically.
"Return to the Grand Elder's palace. Your next match will take place there."
Nodding at him, I immediately took off from the ground, a white aura trailing around me. In the meantime, I checked my rewards. A Special Attack Point? I need to check out more of the game's features after I complete the tutorial…

In a few minutes, I touched down at Guru's domain. Walking inside, I was met with the site of Nail, and two other Namekians. Grand Elder Guru was strangely absent. Nail grinned when he saw me.
"Well color me surprised. I didn't think you had it in you!"
I looked at him with a deadpan stare. He chuckled at me and the room fell into a content silence. In the meantime, I observed the other Namekians.

Bodyguard Moori stepped in with a similar-looking Namekian through the door of Guru's domain. He looks over each of us, eyes narrowing.
"Nail and… Cardi. You two will follow Gastros here, to settle your match. Whoever wins between you both is named as one of the Grand Elder's bodyguards. Good luck to both of you!"
Moori then faced both Viol and me.
"Now you two will follow me. The same rules apply to both of you, as it did to them."
He walked out and flew off into the sky, both of us following him. After flying through the sky for a few minutes we reached an empty clearing like the first fight. Moori stood to the side once more, as Viol and I went into our respective stances.
"Let's hope you do better than the last guy, Kuramu was it? Although… knowing how this thing has been for me so far… you're probably a cakewalk!"
"Good Luck to the both of you…

Viol was… fast, I observed while flying through the side of a cliff. As soon as the match started, he disappeared in a flash and hit me with a lightning-fast kick. I tumbled to a stop and quickly braced myself. Okay… now, this might be a bit more challenging. My eyes darted around, looking for the slightest hint of the speedy Namekian.
'ZIP'
Reappearing behind me, Viol launched me face-first into the ground with a sharp elbow, the ground cracked around my pain-filled form. Viol didn't let up, grabbing my foot as he began to spin me around quickly before he launched me into the air. I soared upwards, before suddenly stopping after regaining my bearing. I quickly noticed a bright orange light racing towards me! A Ki attack! I... Can't move fast enough!
"Man… Call me arrogant…"
As the blast impacted me point blank, the sky was lit up in an explosion of orange light…
VIOL POV…
Hmph… that buffoon didn't even last 2 minutes. Viol knew he was all talk, from the moment the match had started… just a showboater. The only way he could have beaten Kuramu was with a fluke! The fact that he had even tried to apply for the bodyguard position of the Grand Elder… laughable.
Viol walked towards Bodyguard Moori and told him to end the match. However, Moori just ignored him and looked up at the sky. Following his gaze, Viol was shocked to see his competitor standing there, his arms crossed over his face. His body was covered in severe burns, as smoke was hissing of Ocari's body.
Suddenly, his body began to steam, as the injuries on his form began to quickly disappear. Ocari straightened his back as he examined his body. He began to grin and muttered to himself. Viol's ears picked up his words.
"Heh, got a nice Zenkai out of that…"
What the hell was a Zenkai! Viol was brought out of his thoughts when Ocari suddenly appeared in front of him. Before he could hastily form a block, Ocari punted him through a mountain. Viol had no time to brace himself, as Ocari kept on badgering him with blows. He wasn't that fast a few minutes ago! How did he improve so quickly!
"How's that feel. Not so nice, huh..."
With a flick of Ocari's wrist, Viol was sent crashing against the ground. Viol was struggling to get up when in the corner of his eye, he saw Ocari charge his Ki. His opponent placed his hands beside him, as a golden ball of Ki was formed in his palms. He started to chant a few words, while Viol looked on in fear. Ocari pushed his hands forward, and with a scream, he launched a golden beam of Ki.
"FINISH BUSTER!"
Viol was impacted by the golden beam and felt an agonizing pain for a few seconds, before falling unconscious.

My eyes went wide in shock at the increase in power. What the hell! What the actual fuck is this game! I went from a power level of 3,445 to a power level of 24,429 in the span of a single day! One day! That's a 7 times increase!
Wait… I also got another feat point! Immediately, I went to the feats list and purchased the last level of Energy Sense. There now I can know the specific power of anyone I see.
"Are you done?"
Yelping, I threw a punch at Bodyguard Moori, who was behind me. The Bodyguard easily caught the punch but narrowed his eyes at the force of it. After a second, he let go of my fist.
"How did you get so strong in such little time? I measured your power before, your blows shouldn't be this powerful. What are you…?"
GAMER'S MIND ACTIVATED!
"Bodyguard Moori, I've been concealing my power. It would have been reckless for me to have just been flaunting around my power."
Moori's eyes lingered on me for a few seconds before he spoke.
"Fine. You and I will be going to the Grand Elder's domain for you to be announced Bodyguard to the villages on the planet."
Thank god for Gamer's mind.
"Uh, Bodyguard Moori… can you let me know who has won between Nail and… Cordi?"
"Nail has won the match. He performed excellently, using Ki in tandem with his attacks turned the tide of the battle in his favor enormously." Moori replied.
That's good. Maybe if I train Nail hard enough, he won't have to fuse with Piccolo. Although, it would negatively impact Piccolo… I'll think about that problem later.
As we began to float, I noticed the beaten and unconscious Viol.
"Uh, are you going to do anything about that?" I asked, pointing to Viol.
"I've already told Gastros to come over here and take him. Now, we have no time to waste, we need to head to the Grand Elder."
We burst across the skyline as we headed to Guru's domain.
A/N: I feel like I rushed this chapter, but you guys can criticize ma about that. Also, a slight fix, in the last chapter I said Ocari chose to appear on Namek on age 730, Vegeta's Birthday. But… I then had the epiphany… that's way too fucking long! If my OC trained for that long, he could one-shot Frieza! So, I made him enter on Namek at age 750, which gives him… 12 years to train for Frieza. Also, thank you guys for all the follows favorites, and reviews. In all honesty, I thought people who read my story would label me as a copy of KllDarkness's story. But I'm glad that you guys don't think so. Anyways, THANK YOU KLLDARKNESS!
*UPDATE: I was wondering about the next chapter. Would you guys appreciate if I do a time skip to a few years before the events on Namek. I was thinking of doing a few things to pass the time between now and that arc. And also, regarding the memories of my Oc, they will be brought up. I also changed something to the Porunga Incarnate feat, making it every 5 levels that the modifier increases, so Ocari won't be insanely overpowered quickly. Thank's for checking out my story.
