Part 2:
Ahsoka clutched her stomach as she was running. Please, don't vomit now, she thought.
Ahsoka had been receiving morning sickness every day for the past month. Ever since she got back from the ball on Alderaan. It seemed so long ago, but in reality, it had been only a month. It seemed so long ago she left the Jedi Order. But that had only been a few weeks.
Ahsoka knew that she should probably go see a doctor. Her sickness had only seemed to get worse as time went by. Ahsoka followed every rule for being sick.
She rested frequently throughout the day and through the night, she ate for every meal, and she tried not to run. Or put herself in a stressful position. Of course, that all just went out the window, because there was a certain stalker that had been following her around for the past few days. Ahsoka was afraid to sleep, afraid to take a break and eat, and she was always running.
Ahsoka intended to find out who this stalker was and what he or she wanted. She made a decision to do something.
She stopped in her tracks, and waited. The stalker appeared behind her a few seconds later. Ahsoka didn't turn around to face the offender. She decided to try and intimidate.
"What do you want?" Ahsoka made her voice low and dangerous.
The offender didn't respond.
"I said, what do you want?" Ahsoka whirled around and held the perpetrator in a chokehold against the alley wall.
"I was only wondering what a Jedi was doing down here in the lower levels of Coruscant." The voice was familiar. Asajj Ventress.
"I'm not a Jedi, Ventress." Ahsoka sighed and released her chokehold. After all, a while back when Ahsoka came down here to prove her innocence, Asajj had helped her.
"You got expelled?"
"No. I left."
"Why would you throw away the life you had? It was perfect. I would've given anything to be like you. And you just threw it all away." Asajj sounded slightly offended.
"The council didn't trust me. They abandoned me. Only Anakin stood by me when I was most desperate." Ahsoka fought back tears.
"Hm. How noble are the Jedi now?" Asajj scoffed.
"Not noble enough for my liking."
"Well, I really was coming after you because someone's looking for you. She heard about what happened and wants to help. Calls herself Lignohu. A green twi'lek. She paid me off to come and bring you to her, or relay the message."
"Lignohu's down here?"
"I guess so. She's on level 4,897. Only one level below where we are now. I'll take you to her," Asajj offered, shrugging.
"Yes, please."
Asajj hopped into her speeder and signaled for Ahsoka to get in. Ahsoka sat in the passenger seat and caught her breath.
"You don't look so good." Asajj didn't look away from the lane.
"Tell me about it. I've been sick for about a month now. And I've only been getting worse."
"Lignohu will probably help you with that. She seemed pretty genuine."
Ahsoka only sighed. Asajj stopped the speeder in front of a smaller house on level 4,897. Lignohu's place.
Ahsoka climbed out of the speeder and was surprised by her next action. "Thank you."
Asajj nodded and left. Ahsoka knocked on Lignohu's door. The door swung open, revealing the green twi'lek.
"Ahsoka!" Lignohu sounded relieved.
"Lignohu! It's been a while."
"Are you alright?"
"I think I'm sick. I've been having morning sickness for about a month now. And it's only been getting worse."
Lignohu's face paled. "Let's check you out."
Lignohu led Ahsoka to her living room. "Thank you, Lignohu. You don't know how much this means to me." Ahsoka meant it.
"Hey. I'm always ready to help. Now lay down on the couch, okay? I'm going to check you out."
Ahsoka did as she was told and kept still. Lignohu grabbed a small wooden device, and for some reason, placed it on Ahsoka's abdomen. She lightly tapped Ahsoka's stomach, and the device gave readings. Lignohu did this for a course of three minutes, until she sat up and deciphered the last reading on the device.
"Just as I suspected," Lignohu muttered to herself.
"What's wrong with me?" Ahsoka panicked at the grave undertone in her voice.
"Don't freak out, okay? But you're pregnant. A month in."
On Onderon:
Lux checked his inbox on his datapad. Nothing. Again.
The senator of Onderon had sent out scouts, called in as many favors as he could, and looked for any sign of Ahsoka Tano himself.
Lux sighed. Ahsoka had been reported as missing in action a month ago. Padme had told him that she'd been charged for murder, proven innocent, yet still walked away from the Jedi Order and disappeared. Lux figured she was on the lower levels of Coruscant, but there were thousands of levels on Coruscant. Which one would she be one?
The last time Lux had seen Ahsoka, they had been drunk. Lux had woken up in the morning with no clothes on, and no Ahsoka. He was pretty sure they went too far that night. Ahsoka probably hated him now, but that didn't change how he felt.
To be truthful, he didn't know how he felt for Miss Tano. She was kind, smart, funny, and beautiful. And sure, she was a little stubborn (okay, a lot stubborn), but that made her even better.
Lux Bonteri wondered where Ahsoka Tano was now, and how she was doing.
Back on Coruscant:
"No. There's got to be a mistake. I've never…," Ahsoka trailed off. She had taken the risks of getting pregnant. Even though she didn't mean to. That night on Alderaan was what got her pregnant. She was sure.
Ahsoka was having Lux Bonteri's child.
"Who's the father?" Lignohu asked.
"A senator. Lux Bonteri, senator of Onderon," Ahsoka whispered.
"Senator Bonteri? I thought he wasn't in a relationship!"
"It's...complicated."
"I've got time."
Ahsoka decided she couldn't hide her feelings for Lux any longer. "I have feelings for him, Lignohu. I think he does too. Or at least he did that night at the ball. We didn't do it on purpose. We got drunk. It was an accident. We didn't even know what we were doing."
Lignohu patted Ahsoka's hand sympathetically. "What are you going to do now?"
"I don't know."
Lignohu looked thoughtful. "Stay here. You're in no condition to go gallivanting to Onderon until the baby is delivered. I'll help you. When you and the baby are fully recovered, you can go find Senator Bonteri. It's the smartest and safest choice."
"You're right. Are you sure it's no trouble for me to stay here for eight more months?"
"No trouble at all. As I said earlier, I like to help."
I know this chapter is short, but the next one will probably be longer. Give me some reviews and let me know how I'm doing so far. This is my first Luxsoka fanfic so...
May the force be with you all!
