It was Saturday morning and Luna had barley woken up. Luna's mouth was dry and didn't have a taste in her mouth. Luna grabbed her phone from under her pillow and checked the time on her phone, it was 7:40 AM. She also checked her phone to see if there were any new text messages from Sam. And there weren't new messages. So she decided to text Sam and see if she was awake.

"Hey Sam, u awake?"

After a minute, Luna sent another message.

"When are we going to go hangout?"

Luna waited about 5 minutes to text Sam again so she wouldn't seem desperate or eager.

All of a sudden, Luna's phone vibrated and she immediately looked at her phone to see a new text message from Sam.

"Hi Luna! Sorry I didn't respond earlier. I was asleep and my alarm woke me up just now. So about our hangout I was thinking maybe we could go to Milkshake Shack and just chat there?

Luna texted back Sam.

"Sure I'm down to go, but what time should we meet up there?"

"I was thinking maybe at 12:00 we could meet up there, does that sound like a good time to you?"

"Yeah that's a perfect time!"

"Great, so I'll meet you there at 12:00." See you soon Luna!"

10 minutes later

Luna got out of bed and walked into the hallway, she didn't see anyone in the hallway so she assumed that no one was awake. Luna was thirsty so she went downstairs to grab herself a cup of OJ from the kitchen. The first thing she saw when she walked into the kitchen was her sister Lori. Lori said hi to Luna but she said it in a quiet way so she wouldn't wake up anyone.

"Morning dude." Luna said.

"Sooo Luna, how'd it go with Sam yesterday?" Lori asked.

"It went great dude! I gave Sam her birthday present she freaking loved it! Also, she asked me if I wanted to hangout and she said yes! We're supposed to hangout today!" Luna said in a loud excited voice.

"Luna that's great and all but can you lower your voice down?" People are trying to sleep."

"Oh yeah sorry about that."

"But there's just one problem."

Lori looked at Luna with a curious face and asked.

"And what's that?"

"You see I have romantic feelings for Sam. I want to confess my love to her but I'm scared she might reject me."

"Come to the living room with me. I want to talk to you Luna."

Luna processed to walk into the living room with Lori. Lori took a seat and Luna took a seat. Lori began to speak to Luna.

"Luna, I just want to give you some solid advice because you're my sister. Luna don't let your fears stop you from telling Sam how you feel. I know rejection can be scary, believe me I know how it feels. But sometimes you just have to take a risk in life. Just tell her how you feel, It's better than just balling up your emotions and not telling her. Trust me even if she doesn't have the same feelings for you. You'll probably feel better afterwards and feel like a weight has been lifted off your chest. If you decided to tell her then don't hesitate to."

"Thanks for the advice big sis. I knew I could have a supportive sister like you."

"No problem, that's just what big sisters do. I'm glad I could help out Luna. We all have to look out for each other."

11:45 AM

Luna was in the bathroom looking at the mirror with confidence and determination. She wanted to confess to Sam her love for her. And she was eager to tell Sam her love for her. She was ready. Luna decided to leave a little early so she wouldn't be late for her hangout with Sam. She made her way downstairs and just before she could make her way out the door, she was stopped by Lori.

"Hey Luna good luck out there." Lori said with a smile and thumbs up.

"Thanks Lori." Said Luna.

"Ok bye Lori!" Luna processed to walk out the door but Lori had one more thing to say to Luna.

"Wait! Did you ask mom or dad if you can leave?"

"Yeah, I asked dad and he said it's alright with him. He just said I have to be back by 4:00 PM. Anyways I gotta go Lori, I don't want to be late for my hangout."

"Ok bye Luna!."

Luna walked out the door and began walking to the Milkshake Shack. Luna got out her phone and texted Sam.

"Hey Sam I'm heading to the milkshake right now."

About a minute later Sam responded back to Luna.

"Ok I'm heading over there too right now!" See ya there Luna!"

Luna put her phone in her pocket and she began walking to the Milkshake Shack, thinking about the fun they'll have. And also thinking about her deep love for Sam.
