Chapter 2: Gaining Alliance

"Oyaji?" Marco watched with his arms crossed, unsure what to make of her character. Just a moment ago she insulted them and now she is siding with them? A spy implanted by the navy? They were capable of orchestrating an act so it wasn't that far fetched. "Should I tell them to take her down yoi?"

The older man face's stayed unfazed although Marco can sense a slight shift in his posture. His father wouldn't possible think she meant what she said. There were so many inconsistencies with her story. Like how she asked where they were. Who comes to Marineford not knowing they are in Marineford? The Gate of Justice doesn't open up for anybody so she proved she is a liar. A lot of outsiders wanted his father dead and he had no doubt she was among them. If she wasn't with the navy then she's a pirate or a bounty hunter. "It's better to take care of her now before she becomes a threat yoi."

His father was a wise man, worthy of leading so when he gave him a simple order, Marco kept quiet despite his mistrust. "Just let her be."

Now that Sakura Haruno royally screwed up, she needed to find a way to work with the pirates. She wasn't planning on joining this war as enemies to BOTH. They wanted to save Ace and since she thought his execution is injustice it meant she had the same motive as them therefore, they were accomplices by default. Although their reputation was the lowest of the low, she was capable of separating emotions from her mission.

Sakura took a few steps backward from her ambushers to take in her surroundings. These people didn't have chakra but she could feel similar energy coming from them as konoha's civilians. Sakura won't say she was as good as Karin, her recent friend, when it came to sensory abilities but she could detect fifty thousand people when she concentrated hard enough. She bet they are more than she actual decoded. A whole nation were assembled in this war and her brain couldn't wrap around the fact that none of the five nations are involved. How was it possible when they were among the biggest population in the whole world? Something wasn't adding up here but since they were civilians, they should be harmless.

...

.
Sakura was wrong. Very wrong. She never had to swallow her foolishness faster than she did now. These people weren't harmless and she learned that the hard way...

"Dracula Mihawk!" All focus turned to a man they called part of the royal Shichibukai. His presence was enough to make people wary of him.

Sakura tensed up, the man's hair was covered up by a hat, rocking a short beard, moustache, and upward sideburns.

"Huh, what's this? You're gonna fight now?" Doflamingo sneered, enjoying this turn of events.

"I merely wish to measure..." Mihawk narrowed his yellow bulleyes, hand bending backwards to grab the halt of his sword. "To see for myself... the true distance between us and that man."

He swung it, a green light rapidly slided down the ice, debris flying out as it headed towards Sakura. Her breath hitched at her throat from how fast it was traveling, almost blinding her from seeing anything. She almost got hit by it if she didn't jump out just in time to miss it. Her body rolled down the ice, palms slamming down to put herself to a stop.

What the hell was that?

She wasn't the only one who dodge, many others also got out of the way, the attack powerful and fast, continued it's track towards the ship. "RUN!"

"Get off the ship!" Sakura shouted, wondering why an old man was there. He looks kinda pale... is he sick?

A shadowed figure ran at the center, yelling as he took it head on. He withstood it's frightening strength and impelled it upward, letting it swirl above to the sky. The ground underneath her shook from the impact.

Sakura's jaw dropped in disbelief. Nobody in konoha would want to take an attack like that. Did he even survive it?

"He stopped it... the most powerful slash in the world!" The marines that were supposed to attack her gave her information unknowingly.

In the world? The attack left a long crevasse behind, proving that it wasn't a joke. Maybe Sasuke can be a match since he had Susanoo.

"That's the commander of the third division, Diamond Jozu!"

What the hell! The man was replaced with sparkling, elegant, gemstone all over his skin. It almost seemed amethyst in hue from how lavish the translucent carats were. Civilians don't look nor fight like this!

Sakura wasn't someone to take back her words but this whole battleground is a NOT MAKING ANY SENSE. She have never seen anything like this. If they were not shinobi then how can they do this? Kami-sama... why am I having strange ideas that I might not be anywhere near the five nations.

"This is not the time to get distracted! Advance men!" A bunch of pirates started to pass her.

A moment of distraction could mean her life in this strange predicament. Getting on her knees, she started to also make a ran for it.

"Intercept them!" the marines shouted.

Sakura got out of the way, letting them take care of it. If she can, she would rather not fight yet. She didn't want to underestimate the marines and pirates ever again so she would rather observe what's happening if possible.

Loud, shrieking wind sounds followed by explosions were resounding above her. Is that what they are using that thing for? It had an impact of an explosive tag.

Sakura ended up beside a woman but as she got a closer look, it was actually a man... wearing the only outfit she could recognize from this whole place. A rosey kimono with a patterned maiko sash that was tied lazily around his waist, his hair lifted up in a three way bun, holding a strange duel weapon in his hand that held the same effect as the machinery ahead but with a much lesser magnitude.

"What's that?" She pointed a finger at it, unable to take her eyes off it as she punched a marine out of the way.

"This?" He gave her a quizzical look as if she asked the oddest question in the world. She was starting to think she did from how everything felt foreign.

"It's a pistol." On any other day, he may find her ditzy behavior cute, dare he say endearing but not today. She was an abnormality. A possible enemy or a hindrance to Ace's life.

Sakura nodded, keeping it in her mind. "Thanks!"

"I would suggest you to leave if you know what's good for you doctor." He head shotted a bunch in one go, blowing the smoke off the muzzle. If she didn't know the basic, how was she going to survive a war? "Oyaji have told us to ignore you but if you get in our way, we won't hesitate to kill you."

"I-" Before she could say anything, another flash of light flew by.

This again?

Instead of green, it was yellowish this time. Bright and blinding causing her fingers to cup around her eyebrows, shadowing her vision. From that light, a man popped up.

"K-Kizaru is here!"

Ki... za... ru. She saw the back of his yellow striped suit but he must have done something because beams were shot as if they are rain, marching on Whitebeard. They are all targeting that old man. He must be important.

As if everything went slow motion, she found herself awestruck by the man whose arms transformed into wings.

You have got to be kidding me!

He flew right at it, his shadow trembled with each hit. A guest of air flapped her hair and clothes.

"He blocked the Admirals attack!"

Her medic side almost took over her.

"What's that?"

"He's covered in blue flames!"

Ehhhh?

"You can't just go straight for the King, yoi!" He smirked, holographic neon blue with a mixture of yellow burned half of his face and lower chest to his wing arms.

"You whitebeard pirates sure are scary." Kizaru's sarcasm didn't go unnoticed.

"What's with his body?"

His flashy wings were spread out far.

"He took Kizaru-san's attack head-on yet he still alive?"

"His ability is as powerful as the rumors said!"

Sakura was glad to hear she wasn't the only one whose also shocked by the display. It was similar to Naruto's tail beast mode yet there wasn't a bird among the nine beasts that exist.

God... her pace slowed down. Her mind was coming up with illogical explanation to what Kaguya might have done.

"A power even more rare than the Logia fruits. The mythical zoan type." Kizaru admired.

Logia? Zoan? She didn't miss the terminology.

"Hey, geshia!" She body flickered in front of him, deciding she will no longer hold back. "Imma need you to tell me what your friend is."

It took all her will power to make sure she doesn't pull up a kunai on his neck. They were supposed to be allies in her mission to rescue Ace so she couldn't afford making them as her enemies too when she didn't know what was going on. However, she didn't let her guard down.

He raised an eyebrow, pointing his gun at her forehead, his finger ready to pull the trigger. "You've seen what my pistols can do, didn't you?"

"Izo-san!" his comrades called out in worry.

His red, lipstick lips grimaced, his thin brows furrowing at her determined facial expression. He was threatening to kill her yet she didn't flinch nor budge from his clear intent. She said she was a doctor yet she behaved like a warrior who fought many battles.

"Izo-san right?" Her stern voice changed into soft spoken that he couldn't help but focus at her rosey lips, the way she enunciated her next words, taking a different approach from earlier. "I want to save Ace too. If you can help me figure out a few things, I promise to return the favor."

Sakura bowed. "Please."

She was manipulating him to gain something... he was sure but what was it?What she asked for was well known information every human knew so maybe he was being wary for no reason.

"... Do you know what a devil fruit user is Doctor?" Izo pulled the trigger, the bullet grazed her cheeks to the marine who crept up behind her.

His jaw tightened. She didn't even blinked despite the close approximately. Izo thought she didn't know what she's was getting into but he was starting to think he underestimated her a lot more than he should have. He felt something he didn't think was possible; mild respect. Although what person who reached Marineford didn't know this much information? There were people in East, South, North, West blue that didn't know that but after Grandline this was the most common information anyone would know.

"My 'friend', Marco the Phoenix, had eaten a devil fruit." As if on cue, Marco's whole body was that of a beautiful, strange bird that she've never seen.

"A devil fruit is a fruit that grants power to those who eats it and Marco ate one of the three types that exist." Izo's arms rose behind his head, shooting the ones who were getting close.

"Aren't you an odd doctor to not know this..." His eyes turned upside down in a crescent shape, smiling at Sakura who messaged her temple from the headache she knew was coming. His underhanded insult didn't bother her.

"Izo-san, thank you so much." For making her realize she was nowhere in her world. Devil fruit? Fruits grant power? Phoenix? WHAT?

Damn you Kaguya! She screamed in her head knowing she won't find Konoha NO MATTER HOW MUCH SHE SEARCHED! The only one who can teleport dimensions was Sasuke and only Sasuke. How was she supposed to get back home now? How was she supposed to alert Naruto? Kakashi? HOW?

She sighed in defeat, knowing she was completely hopeless. Guess she will have to depend on Naruto or Sasuke to save her. Looking at their backs again... Would they even find her? Forget finding her, her stupid mouth got her involved in a fight that was dangerous as hell. Harmless I said! 'HaRmLeSs'. She wasn't planning to risk her life for this because she thought they were civilians but this might be an s-rank war...

Another loud blast resounded, this time Marco have sent Kizaru into a wall.

Sakura slapped her cheeks to wake up and face reality. I can't take back my words! I said I'll save him so I have too! She was a woman of honor and if she was in a different world then the people here might be different too... maybe they weren't as bad as I thought.

"Tell me honestly Izo-san, have you ever harmed any citizen?" Sakura wanted confirmation but at the same time, not. If they said yes she would waver... but she wanted to know she made the right decision. Her life was on the line and she wanted to fight for what's right!

She kicked the soldiers that were approaching her, unintentionally covering Izo's back which he also done the same. He haven't been moving around much since she showed up proving how patient he was. If her friends were getting executed, the last thing she would do would be humor someone... "It's a common misconception people make about us but Oyaji would never allow us to kill or harm anyone defenseless, neither do we want too."

Sakura was relieved that she was proven wrong about them. It made fighting easier. She knew from experience that pirates didn't have any reason to lie because they didn't care about people's opinions. As a shinobi, they also didn't care about what other nations thought which is why she believed him. "Alright! I put my trust in you Izo-san."

Sakura switched her gears. It was time to get serious. She cracked her knuckles, swinging her arm to her side and pushing them in with her other to ease up her muscles. The action was repeated to her other hand. She bend down her knees, stretching them one side to the other. Then she flicked her wrists. She will have to wait for her comrades-in-war and while she did, she might as well give a hundred percent into this battle that she have no clue about anything. There was no point in fretting over the inevitable. It was act now, think later.

She felt herself sway a bit, vibration transmitting into her feet. The eight giants that were staying put were now moving forward.

"One last question, do these devil fruit users have any weakness?" Sakura wondered if the question was stupid. Some of the five element were weak against each other.

"Devil fruit users are hammers. They can't swim." He seemed bemused, not in a good way.

He probably think I'm an idiot! Although hearing that made her realize she can't use her full power. She initially wanted to break this ice but that would be worst decision she could ever make. If there were more of these devil fruit users, it means she will drown her supposed allies. They will also have to swim there which means they were more at a disadvantage since they can't across. It will be easier for the marines to attack them. This was their fortress, they can plan something.

"Izo-san! I may need you to step back." She walked casually towards her target.

"Doctor?"

"The giants are coming! Aim for their legs," one of the pirates warned.

A gruff voice cut through. "YOU GUYS, STAND BACK!" The diamond guy from earlier ran by her, giving her a side eye. "Little girl, I said stay back!"

"I'm getting tired of everyone calling me little." Sakura followed ahead, ignoring his orders.

"Jozu! The Little girl?" the pirates exclaimed.

"Don't blame me if you get hurt." Jozu punched their foothold, it made a smooth, perfect circular crack on the ice that not even an artists could draw with their hand. Sakura recognized that move. She shared similar skills as him! Except she doubt she can make them into shapes.

"Ooooh! Very impressive!" She jumped above, clapping in amazement at his perfect control.

"Get out of the way!" All the pirates near by scurried off.

"WHAT POWER!" The marine soldiers were also as amazed as Sakura.

Jozu fingertips got in between the cracks, carrying the large border out. His biceps and neck veins bulged out from the pure weight he was lifting.

"What is he planning to do?" the same marines commented.

Sakura knowing very well what he will do, stepped aside. For she would have done the same, if not, with slight differentiation.

"Try stopping THIS!" He flung it behind him, the huge chunk of ice had them screaming in panic from it's sheer size.

The man in red, who was seating like royality under the execution platform, stood up."I swear these two are just... they simply went and left their stations. If we are not here then WHO will protect this area?"

Like Marco, his arms transformed into molten, black smoke puffed up, the heat was so bad his own arm started to release steams of air visible to the eye.

That's lava!

"Akainu-san!"

He striked through the block of ice, vaporizing it instantly. The leftover droplets were so hot, it burned some of the marines's and pirates's skin. The outstretched molten then seeped down volcanic rocks in rapid surge. The pirates ran away screaming in pain and cursing the admiral. "One of our ships has been hit!"

With a simple hand sign, she muttered, "Water style: Water Dragon jutsu."

A wave of water flew out of the sea, surprising everyone.

"What the?"

Taking the form of a dragon, Sakura willied it to put out all the fire. It hopped from one rock to the other, putting off even the fire that came on the ship.

"Our ship is saved? Who did that?" The pirates and marines were bewildered. The only people who noticed Sakura were the shichibukai, admirals, Garp, Sengoku, whitebeard and Jozu.

"Jozu!" Sakura called out to the older man, taking him out of his trance. "Do that move again."

He give her a confused look but compiled to her wishes, punching through once again after he saw that amazing dragon. A part of him was wondering why he was even listening to the girl.

"What you gonna do with it?" He doubt she could carry it so this was confusing the hell out of him. "It already failed once."

"I wanna test something." Her arm lay on her hips as she observed. The red guy looked the nastiest out of all three admirals she learned about. She was starting to understand their system after seeing the interaction. The ones wearing colored, bizarre clothes were the most powerful ones from the marines.

"Here?" He wondered if he should carry it for her.

Just like Jozu, she put her fingers through the cracks, digging it in to get a better hold.

"Oi, oi, oi, don't tell me she will also do that?" Kizaru lowered his tinted glasses, exchanging short blows with Marco.

"No way!" The marine laughed, knowing she is not a devil fruit user while the pirates sighed in resignation. "Little girl, get out. You are not fit for this fight."

She used chakra on her feet to glue herself to the ground and unlike Jozu, she did it quicker, putting her energy more into flinging it upwards than carrying it.

"WHAT THE!" the inexperienced fighters exclaimed.

Jozu's and Izo's jaw slacked at the display. Marco and Kizaru stopped briefly to let it sink in what happened. Akainu glared.

"Eh. Not bad kid." Whitebeard chuckled. He learned not to underestimate people but even he didn't expect her small, petite body to carry the strength of a thousand men.

Akainu got his magma hand ready. "If it didn't work the first time then it's not going to work the second time little girl."

Sakura jumped and pulled back her fist. "Who said anything about doing it again?"

With chakra, she punched the boulder, breaking the ice into smaller debris, letting them strike the marines from many different directions. Blood spilled from those who were wounded or squashed to their death by it. The giants used their weapons to break as many as possible.

Mihawk slashed the ones heading toward his direction. "Clever girl. She used the momentum to her advantage and made us think she will repeat the same move."

"Fufufufu I bet the Red Dog is now mad that he got played like a fool." Doflamingo laughed, covering his mouth as if he said something he shouldn't.

"From where did such woman come from?" Hancock remarked, aside from those disgusting men, it was a nice change to see a woman leading.

"Kishishishishi! She will make a good zombie." Moria's mind was crafting ways to steal her shadow.

"Wow! How is she doing this without a devil fruit?" Whitebeard's and his alliance were also in the same boat. They didn't trust her yet but they can't deny she was strong. They were suspicious but since Jozu helped her, it meant they wouldn't have to worry about her backstabbing them.

"Don't falter! CHARGE FORWARD!"

The pirates were pushing forward. The marines were showing the same enthusiasm.

"Stop the commanders!"

"Kill Whitebeard and sink the Moby Dick!"

"Four ships are still left. Fire and don't stop!"

Cannon balls were fired at the ships but they were intercepted by Whitebeard, Jozu, Marco and Vista. The giants have also started their attack.

"Advance towards the plaza!"

Sakura disappeared in a rose of petals, the only witness were the shichibukai.

"She's full of tricks," Doflamingo amusedly noted.

Sakura appeared on the hand of a giant. Although a bit late, he tried to swat her off him but with a single step, she teleported near his face.

"When did y-"

She didn't let him finish before she squared him straight in the jaw, paralyzing him. She jumped from one giant to the other, her fast, ninja movement couldn't be followed because of their heavy weight.

"VICE ADMIRAL LACROIX!" The blonde cried, her angry taking over. She swung her sword towards Sakura. "I'll kill you!"

Twisting her body mid-air, her fingers gripped the false edge, letting her whole body swish with the swing near the women's biceps.

"Where did she go?"

Creeping up from the bottom of the blade, she attacked as fast as she could from her squatting position, her fists making contact with her ear. Her body swayed.

"Get out of the way!" Sakura shouted to the sword commander who she didn't have time to learn his name.

The giant with his two tooth poking out used his bazooka at her. It was too slow that it made easy for Sakura to avoid any of their upcoming hits despite being high in the air. The moment her shoes landed on top of the weapon, he abandoned it but it was too late, she slammed her shoe heel on top of his head. From the pressure, his skull broke, leaving behind fractures. He died instantly, falling back on his comrades.

"Retreat giant squad!" Sengoku's orders costed them to turn their back, Sakura was already onto the last member retreating, grabbing his purple hair. She kicked his neck and pulled his strands. "Arghhh!"

"Stop her!" The marines didn't know how she got up! The way she jumps was as if she was flying. How were they supposed to stop her?

The guy was turning around, accidentally stepping on the smaller soldiers. He wanted to catch her but he couldn't. She was swinging around using his hair. One of the other giants came to help but instead of helping, he made things worse. Sakura let go, letting him smack his own friend head. Because Sakura cracked his neck, that hit killed him.

"I SAID RETREAT!" Sengoku repeated.

All the pirates could do were stare at her with their mouth hang open. "Litt-no! Pink Hair just killed four giants in a matter of minutes!"

"She took down a vice admiral!"

"... Pink hair is strong!"

Pink hair? What the hell? What's with the weird nicknames? Sakura deadpanned, "My name is Sakura! Shannora!"

"We have underestimated you Pink Hair!" They ignored her.

First Little Girl, now Pink Hair? "I said it's... Sakura..."

"PINK HAIR! YOU ARE NOT BAD AFTERALL!"

"Listen to me, god damn it!"

Why does she have a feeling this was going to be a long day?

Author note: Marineford doesn't show us much of their personalities so like I'm struggling here. Izo give me the vibes of calling people Marco-chan, Sakura-chan but as I was watching Marineford, he seemed kinda macho so lol I changed my dialogues of him. I was planning to make this chapter longer but then it had an awkward ending which meant I had to upload chapter 3 in 2 instead... but chapter 3 also had the same awkward ending so like I need to figure out a way to make the endings seem smooth cuz they all awkward asf.

I'm glad to see people enjoying it tho. Got more reviews than I expected. Thought I was gonna get 1 at best cuz this is a crossover but the response were overwhelming. I've decided to treat everyone by updating a day early. 15th April I'll upload chapter 3 and if I'm in a good mood, I may update early so yeah, we got a fixed schedule for now.
