We continued to eat, pausing every few minutes to give our opinion on what we were talking about or just to throw an insult here and there. The current topic happened to be why Rafa didn't already quit his job because they never paid him on time or the correct amount. After about 30 mins we were almost done with our food when the atmosphere started to change. I could feel the tension in the air from the other side of the restaurant, and I focused on what they were saying. Mumbled fears and concerns, men coming around the corner on the outside, nervousness in the air. I looked towards Andrew who was also just as tense, he was the Third's son and so the job would eventually role over to me when I took over the pack if I hadn't mated yet to someone in another pack. Even then I knew I would fight to stay in my own pack, but that was a bridge I wasn't crossing right now. He met my eyes and then nodded, agreeing that there was something different.

You feel it to then?

Yes, be ready. I have a bad feeling.

He responded back to me.

You too Jared. It could be Genesis

Genesis? In a random Denny's? How would they even come to the conclusion to raid it.

Jared questioned back to me

I see three men approaching…not enough for a full raid. I concluded

But enough to do damage.

Andrew replied deadly serious.

"Aurora!", Jaime exclaimed to me poking my side making me jump.

"What?!", I nearly growled at him.

"We asked you a question. What are you starring at?", Rafa asked me turning around to see behind me.

"Nothing…Just…. I have a bad…"

That's when I heard it, the small sound of a metal can rolling.

Silver Bomb

"Get Down!", I yelled to my friends before the flash bang went off and released the metallic substance into the air. The light it created was white hot and blinded my sensitive eyes. I was dazed for a minute, but I had to collect my thoughts. They mainly used Silver bombs to point out the Wolves. Even humans coughed from it but a Wolves eyes would turn into their beautiful amber gold to signal the Wolf coming to the surface. In my special case, my eyes changed to a bright purple. That way they could truly distinguish who was human and who wasn't. Too bad they only set off one grenade, the restaurant was huge enough that the amount of silver in the air dispersed easily and wasn't too concentrated. I had an easier time keeping my eyes from flashing that the boys were as they were closer to the door.

KEEP YOUR EYES DOWN!

I yelled at them in their head with as much authority I could muster. I peeled off my jacket leaving me in a tight long sleeve black shirt and my black sweat pants. I held the jacket over my mouth and looked up towards the door. Three men, all about 6 feet tall but nothing too intimidating. They looked like just ordinary civilians except they were wearing bullet proof vests with tactical gear. They were dressed in all black and had black small gas masks on to stop them from inhaling the silver. Coughing was still erupting from the Denny's as people took shelter under tables and anywhere they could hide. I looked up at my friends to see if they were okay and to my relief they were. They were all bent down as far as they could be covering their mouths looking around with wide eyes. The men started to walk in from the glass corridor you had to walk through to go in and out the restaurant. They held their rifles correctly meaning they at least had some training to use weapons. As they walked in I could see two had simple Glocks along with a smaller side arm while the last man had a semi-automatic weapon which I knew didn't fire as fast as an automatic weapon.

"EVERYONE STAY IN YOUR SEATS, SIT UP AND DON'T MOVE!", The man in front demanded. He had a deep reverberating voice that reminded me of my own Fathers.

"Staff stand behind counter with your arms up!", he demanded nodding for the second man to go to them. He walked over to the staff and kept his weapon and eye on them as the cooks came out from the kitchen and the waiters lined up. The last guy with the Semi was focused on the right of the room in the more open space while the man who seemed to be in charge help his gaze to the left where we were. The one holding the semi stayed put back to the door and gaze upon the right side while the other two made their way down the aisle. I watched as the air around them had small sparkles in them from the metallic material in the air. It burned my nose and throat every time I breathed but it was dying down fast. I stiffened as they passed by Andrew and Jared. Andrew was giving all his strength to Jared who Thank the Gods had his back towards them as his eyes were lightening. Yet, to my surprise they didn't even check anyone on their path down towards my table. I looked down at the table hoping my bangs would hide my eyes because I could feel them almost flashing. Rafa looked up at me to see my jaw clench and gave me a questioning look, almost asking why I was mad rather than scared for my life. To be honest, it was more of the smell of fear that filled the place than the silver in the air. Silver didn't work to well on me but I still avoided it all costs. I then felt him, I felt the black aura around me and I could smell the adrenaline on him. He was wearing Old Spice and had recently showered, but above all he smelled of pure hatred.

"Well Hello Little Lady.", he drawled out in a southern accent while smiling down at me.

I didn't look up at him.

"Seems to be we think some of you here may just be anything but human. Could be one of you—I felt his eyes on me—or could be all of you.", he said as if he was a detective.

"So, you all can tell me now and we make your death easy. Or we can do this the hard way and I cut each of you with silver and see who screams the loudest. ANYHOW—he turned to the rest of the restaurant—I'm not leaving until I got dead bodies because I ain't stupid. I know there's more than one in here. I can smell it.", he said taking off the gas mask and tapping his nose with one hand as he held the gun in the other pointed towards us.

How did he know there was a wolf specifically at this table, yet he didn't bother to look at the my packmates table? Then it struck me.

That waiter, Yosef, he must have called them to alert them of his bracelet burning me. Fuck! I kept my head down but lifted my eyes to the line of employees and didn't see him. He must be hiding in the bathroom.

"Now, let's try this again Little Lady. You don't look like the type to be a Supernatural, so innocent and sweet looking.", he said with disappointment in his voice. My eyes burned at that point and I bit my lip to keep from opening my mouth.

"But I suppose I just haven't seen everything there is yet. Now. Let me see those pretty eyes of yours mhm?", he said putting down his gun and reaching to my chin to lift my head up. A growl then emanated from behind him; Andrew. His back was towards us in the booth but he could feel the strange touch of another man to his future Alpha through the bonds, not to mention my surge of anger and disgust. The man stopped. He froze as he must have thought all the wolves were at our table as Yosef had probably only mentioned me. He quickly turned his gun to face Andrew and Jared probably thinking it came from Jared who was actually facing him eyes golden. I could feel his adrenaline spike and knew he would shoot him on the spot due to his golden eyes as confirmation he was a Wolf. Without thinking I pushed the table away from me and into Rafa and David sending them back a few, grabbed the steak knife and stood up. With all my speed I moved in front of him and slit his throat since it was now an open area after discarding the gas mask. Blood sprayed dramatically onto me as I saw his shock on his face. He let off three round towards Jared in which he went down and dodge. I quickly grabbed his body and out an arm around holding him up as a shield to block the bullets his second accomplice was firing at me walking closer and closer. He passed the boys table without a second look focused on me. He was a good shot, hitting his friends' body but not quite getting through to mine. His Glock ran out of bullets and as he paused to reload Andrew twisted around grabbed him to the floor as he entered the next clip. Andrew using all his strength to tackle him had in a wrestler hold slowing choking him out. The third man with the Semi gun turned around as he heard the thud of Andrew and the guy's bodies. He looked scared but then his eyes turned to determination as he aimed the gun at a vulnerable Andrew. Jared then popped out the booth using his speed to grab his gun but he let go it as Jared tossed it to the side and pulled out a silver knife taking Jared by surprise at how easy he let go of the gun, then stabbed him. I felt the pain of my pack members injury and how it burned at his gut just below the rib cage. I felt him twist the knife causing more damage and take it out flinging Jared to the side where he curled up in pain. Andrew couldn't move as he was still holding on to his own guy when the man bent down and picked up his weapon again. I ran towards him throwing the dead guys body on the table next us. Even with my speed he hurried to pick up the gun and fired at me. I moved to the side as much as I could in the small aisle but even so the silver bullet still grazed me. He kept firing widly hoping to get a shot at either of us but he wasn't as good at the other guy. I heard the screams of when he hit other people, the grunt of Andrew as bullets just barely grazed him and then I smelled it. Rafas blood, so delicious to my nose as I breathed it in but it was his blood none the less; he was hit. I turned back to him and watched as he struggled to reload the heavy weapon fumbling with it due to his adrenaline. I lost it at that point, my eyes burning with power and rage, my wolf coming forth and almost bursting out of my own skin. I took my chance and went for him, breaking his arm as I twisted the gun out of it, then his leg as I kicked it so he would fall. His screams gave me so much pleasure to hear and with that I grabbed his neck and squeezed feeling my claws digging into skin and warm blood covering my hand.

"Ple….ase.", he gargled out his eyes glazing over.

"You hurt my friends. Big. Mistake.", I growled and watched as he bled out in my hands.
