The next morning came pretty quickly. Clint lead the team into his house. Laura had pulled bucky in for a hug. Once Laura's arms were around him. Bucky broke. He started sobbing uncontrollably. Clutching at her. Laura spoke softly. Hoping to calm him down.
Clint smiled at the sight. Yeah he was right, this was a healing Bucky needed. He lead the other avengers around. They'd stay here for a few days then Bucky has to go back to Malibu. Clint shook his head. Boy did they have a major problem when Bucky and tiny were alone.
Watching Steve, Clint showed him to a room. Telling him Bucky needed space. And Laura is a good listener. Clint then showed Scott, Sam and Wanda a place to sleep.
A couple hours later, Laura was making dinner whole the boys set the table. Clint called copper and Lila back into the house. The sounds of laughing caught Bucky's attention. He looked up and smiled.
" Dad dad!" Clint turned just in time to have his daughter jump at him. He smiled. Steve laughed.

Loki was reading a book when everyone woke up. He ignored Rhodes when he wondered into the living room, Thor had queitly actaully tip towing into the room after noticing Loki was reading. The god of chaos raised an eyebrow. As Tony Stark walked in. The mad had dark circles under his eyes and looked as if he didn't sleep.
." is Barnes up yet" Tony asked.
.Thor looked around. " no Stark" he smiled. Loki flipped a page and smirked. " he's not here, so probably by now he is awake." The man said softly.
Everyone looked at Loki. " brother?" Loki looked at Thor " brother" he said mockingly. Thor winced.
" his nephew thought after the scene yesterday , he needed time away to cool down away from you" Loki spoke to Tony. He saw Rhodes nodding in agreement.
Tony looked angry that this. " he's pissed off cause his sister's dead. I didn't kill her,!" the sound of a book slamming shut made every one but Thor jump.
Loki stood silently, walking towards Tony. Thor, Rhodes and a newly returned vision all stepped forward. " that's the problem" Loki hissed. " he killed your mom and dad and you attacked him for it"
Tony nodded. Loki smiled wickedly. " yet your angry cause he attacked you." Loki asked.
.Tony again nodded.
Loki put a hand on Tonys shoulder. " you may have not pulled the trigger, but you have H.Y.D.R.A the ammo" Loki whispered softly before walking away. " think on that "
Tony watched him walk away and sighed. Why did Loki have to be the voice of reason. Looking over at Thor, Tony saw those was standing Looking proud. " why does he suddenly have good advice" Rhodes asked. Thor smiled. " he was raised to be my advisor once I was made king" was his reply.
Rhodes smiled at that. " so he helps you make the the right calls." Thor nodded. " he's only one who ever could calm my anger" Tony patted Thor's back. " I'll think on what he said"

The bartan farm was lively. Clint had gotten Bucky out of the house and and into the yard. Chopping wood with Steve. Laura would smile at them from the porch a coffee in her hand.
Bucky slammed the axe onto the wood chopping it angrily. He was still angry about Becca's death and Tony's involvement in it. He thought if Tony had tried to talk to him after his threat of death. He'd end up killing the man.
So worked into his inner thoughts , bucky nearly jumped when someone said hi. Turning around bucky saw Lila bartan. She was smiling at him. In total innocence. He waved . " hi James"
Bucky smiled at her. " hi.." he watched Lila gently push the wood off the stump. Then surprisingly she gently pushed bucky to sit down and climbed into his lap.
" you've been sad " was the first thing she said to him. Bucky nodded " yeah.." he agreed. Lila hugged him. " you can talk to me" she smiled.
And he did , bucky told her everything. To his imprisonment of Hydra and his kills in their name. Lila listened carefully and intently. She would stroke his hair while he spoke.
" Uncle Steve said you weren't your self?" the 15 teen year old said. Bucky laughed hollowly. " but I still did it. " Lila nodded understanding his logic. Even though he wasn't himself. He still felt guilty because it was his hands pulling the trigger. Lila smiled at him, hugging his arm. " that makes you better then them. " she spoke. Bucky nodded. " now my sisters dead cause Tony opened his mouth" bucky said darkly.
Lila shhed him softly. " daddy says uncle Tony does that often when's he's emotional. Speaks before he thinks. He's probably feeling really guilty. " she commented. Bucky looked at her, a small smile appearing.
" he tried apologizing." Bucky whispered back.
" He does that too. He forgets to give people space when they need it. He has to fix everything" she said with a laugh. Bucky laughed with her. His anger slowly ebbing away.
They talked for hours, Lila telling him about school and her archery lessons. Bucky telling her stories from 1945 and his childhood with Steve. They talked till the sun started to set.
Bucky stood with Lila as Clint walked over to them. He had heard the entire conversation , now very glad he brought bucky here. He called for lilaas she walked over taking her father's hand , she turned back towards bucky. " think about what I said and when you're ready. Talk to Uncle Tony" with a smile , she and Clint walked towards the house.
Bucky watched them go and promised himself silently, he'd take her advice. Well as the saying goes. Out of the mouth of babes. Bucky laughed to himself walking towards the house.
