A New Time
Chapter 2 Past Self Disappears
1 hour before Goku enters the time, past Goku is training with the help of king kai that made him weights to limits his movements but yet he attacks seemingly nothing but air in front of him. The north kai watches his student from a safe distance as to not distract the saiyan from training.
As the training continues the kai calls Goku to stop for a bit so he can rest and eat before the next training weights to increase in weight.
"Goku your food is ready though I still don't get why you eat even you don't need to!" king kai said at sort of confused the dead needs to eat 'but that's Goku for you' he thought as he hands the tall Saiyan the bug bowl of rise.
"Thanks king kai I am starving!" Goku stated with excitement in his eyes as he stares at the food and waits for king kai to give him the 'ok' to eat. The kai just shakes his head slightly and gives you the okay, the Saiyan appetite starts to kick in and he starts to devour the food seemingly into to his endless pit of a stomach.
After about 25 minutes the Saiyan is done with his eating and rubs his stomach, king kai would have been surprised by the amount of food he ate but he has gotten used to it.
"Thanks king kai that was great!, that hit the spot!" he said with a smile on his face and looks put at the sky and starts to wonder.
"No problem Goku… um what's the matter?" the bug-like kai said with a concurred look on his face.
"I wonder what they are up" he said as he looks back at king kai.
"Don't worry Goku they are probably busy like usual" king kai said to reinsure the
Saiyan
"Now you can go back to your training after that I think you should rest for the rest of the day" he said as he increased the weights to 40 000 pounds on each limb.
"thx king kai these will give me a hard time hehe" Goku said as he starts moving to the clearing a little away from the building and starts throwing kicks and punches in the air, this went on for about 30 minutes.
Goku stops what he is doing as he starts to feel weird but can't tell what it is, he looks over to king kai that is taking a nap and tries to push the odd feeling away, he continues to train but suddenly he could feel the weight on him anymore as he looks to where the weights were supposed to be, all he sees is his arms and legs but not weights, confused by this he looks around but sees nothing but blackness, the tall Saiyan panics a little from what he can't see but slowly something comes to his eyesight, but what he sees isn't what he thought he would see.
The tall Saiyan looks forward at the figure in front of him the figure what wearing a grey-black gi with a blue belt on his waist and blue wristbands with blue boots an almost exact copy of Goku himself if it's wasn't for the red crimson eyes and hair and a red tail that is almost the same length of the owner's body.
"Who are you!" the black-haired Saiyan asked.
"I am you…" the other said in response to the questions.
"You can't be me I am me and you have a tail I don't!" Goku said in disbelieve of the other's words
"True you don't have a tail now but you shouldn't be worried my past self all will be answered in time but you will be watching from the sidelines from inside my head," he said with a son smile, he walks up to his past self ah he holds out his hand for a handshake.
"What do you mean watching from inside of your head?" the black-haired Saiyan asked as he tilts his head a little.
"Well there can't be two of us in the same timeline so you will have to disappear from this time and your will fuse with me so we don't upset the balance in the cosmos," the future self said as he waits for the younger self to say something.
"If your me and from the future why come back to this time?" the younger Saiyan asked with confusion as he couldn't figure out why his future self would come back
"All your questions will be answered soon I promise" the older self said with confidence and smiles at his younger self.
"Ok, I still don't understand…" the younger Saiyan said as he shakes the other one's hand but as soon as he touches the other a blinding white light devours them when the light faded all that was left was the future-self standing on a cliff-side near a waterfall as the mist surrounds the area.
In the other world king kai notices it was quiet to quiet he looks around and sees the four red weights on the ground slightly berried from the fall they most of had, a little worried from the sight king kai stands and walks over to where his student was supposed to be.
"Goku! Where are you?" he calls out to his student but reserves nothing in return, little more worried than before he calls again and again but still no answer and starts to look around with his antennas all over the other world but couldn't find him.
"Goku where are you?" the kai asked out in confusion as to why he couldn't find his student.
A few hours had past and king kai had still been looking for Goku and even had asked others to help in his search for the lost Saiyan but yes they couldn't find him either, so king kai had an idea that maybe the earth's dragon balls could find him if they haven't found him in a few weeks.
"Oh... Bubbles where could he be..." the kai asked his monkey friend, bubbles just looked at his friends slightly confused of what's was going on.
"King Kai, what do you mean you can't find Goku!, he can't just disappear" the Grand kai said as he walks up to king kai.
"Oh Grand kai…, well one minute he was here and the next he is gone" king kai said looking at his superior.
"Well souls don't just disappear do they?" Grand kai asked annoyed at what happened.
"No…" king kai said fearing the worst.
"Well try looking in the living world for him maybe his friends wished him back" the superior kai said while looking at the other kai.
"Right maybe that's the reason…" king kai said hoping that it was the case, in fact, a few moments later king kai looked around the earth locking on Bulma's thoughts and starts speaking to her telepathically,
"'Bulma can you hear me this is king kai speaking!"' king kai said through his mind hoping Bumla could hear her.
"um hi king kai, I wasn't expecting to hear from you, what up?" she said supervised by the voice in her head looking around as to try to look at something but gave up.
"Um mom who are you talking to? There's no one here" A voice chips in and asks
"Not now trunks…sorry king kai why are you calling?" Bumla asked in curiosity as to why he would call.
"'This is very serious … did you or any of your friends wished for Goku back?"' king kai said hoping to year the word yes but was afraid of the other answer.
"No not that I know of he told us not to why what's wrong king kai?" she asked as a feeling became clear in her stomach and she know something was wrong.
"' I was afraid you might say that"' the kai sighed "' he's been missing for a few hours now just disappeared"' king told her the news at first she gasps at what she heard and went to protest.
"What do you mean he's missing he can't be can't you use that sensing thing to find him!" Bumla blurted it out almost to the whole world but as for the child next to her he just covered his ears and hoping the hell would end now.
"'We can find his it's like he doesn't exist anymore"' he said hoping the words he said wasn't true.
Bulma stood there not knowing what to say as her lifelong friend is missing and she didn't know how to help.
"Ok king kai… I will ask the others if they have been in contact with the dragon balls …WAIT why not use the dragon balls to find him!" Bulma said knowing that she is a genius.
"' That's what we were hoping that you will do"' king kai said with some hope in his voice.
"Alright I will get on it" Bumla said agreeing to the kai.
Somewhere on earth the tall Saiyan is sitting at a table and enjoying his food having more manners then his past self would have he only ordered a few plates of food as to not draw attention to himself at the moment, as he eats his meal he looks at the view of a couple of school kids walk by seeing his son he smiles and continues to eat till a voice snaps him out of his thoughts.
"Sir would you like a refill?" the waiter asked holding a jug full of coffee.
"thank you that would be great, you won't mind bringing the check" he asked as he takes the last bite of his food and placing is sixths plate on the other empty plates stacking them neatly as to not leave a mess to the waiter to clean.
"Of course sir I will be right back with the check" she said grabbing the plates and walking off with them into the building.
'I missed this place just not sure how the others will react to the difference in me but I should get changed into the orange gi don't want to freak them out.' He thought as he looks at his son chatting across the street with his friends.
I sip my last bit of coffee up and watches the waiter come back with the check and she puts it down on the round wooden table, she smiles at me while I wrights on the check and gives her a big tip.
"Thank you for the food miss and take care" I said as I stand up and push in the chair.
"Your welcome sir you should have a wonderful day further" she said as before she cleaned the table and headed inside.
I started walking down the street getting the feel of everything in the past again, I sighed at the uncomfortable feeling under my gi's belt.
'If my tail weren't cut off in this time I wouldn't have to hide it…' I thought as my hand readjusts my tail in a comfortable position, I look back at the group of kids one last time before I start walking away before anyone notices me.
Gohan was daydreaming while the others talked for a second as he stared off into the distance thinking what his father was doing in other world, as he was thinking of his father he saw a man walking at the end of the street through his outfit wouldn't match his father's his hair did, he regained his is surrounding as he lightly shakes his head and said to his friends.
"I will be right back..." Gohan said as he started walking off into the direction of the man he saw not paying attention to what the others were saying, he got closer though far enough the man didn't notice. Gohan looked at the outfit the man was wearing; a grey-black pants with a lighter grey color over-shirt and a long-sleeved black shirt underneath it with a blue belt and blue boots.
As Gohan followed the man down the street he came closer till he could touch, he reached out his hand and puttied it on his solder and he turned the man around but as soon as he did he looked like he saw a ghost he went white as he looked into his once dead fathers eyes and the father was surprised at the same time he never expected this to happen he was so caught up in his thoughts he didn't realize his son walking up to him and at that moment the older saying cursed himself for being so stupid to let this happen and he just looked at his son but didn't say anything as not to seem like his been alive all this time.
"Dad?..."
