DLSS Part 2
At some point in her career, Arizona Robbins is stopped in the hallway by none other than "Glasses", the intern who dropped his lenses in the surgical field. "Hey Arizona I have a question I need some advice," says Levi Schmit. "Sure Schmit, what's up kiddo" she replies. She's in a good mood. She just got Alex's and Jo's wedding invitation.
"See there's this girl I like, and I was wondering if you could give me some advice," he says. "So you come to another girl not one of your guy friends?" she asks suspiciously. She wants to test the rumor mill around here.
"Well I heard that you were smooth with the ladies so I just thought that the combination of being a lady and sleeping with ladies would give me the maximum potential for advice," he says. "So you really like ladies?" says Arizona. "Well yeah you do too right?" he says. "Well yeah I'm gay," says Arizona.
"I know I'm - not trying to pry I just well you were married and divorced sorry to bring that up I mean um" he stutters. "Glasses, are you sure you're into girls?" asks Arizona. "What makes you say that?" he asks. "Well, you just don't seem too eager?" she says.
Arizona narrows her eyes at him like she's trying to understand. "Glasses, who which girl are we talking about anyway?" she asks. "I'm talking about Jo Wilson" he says. "She slept with me once and I just wanted to know if she'd come back to me," he said. "Well did you like it?" asks Arizona.
"Why do you keep asking me that?" he insists. "Well did you? Because she's good so if you didn't really like it and I don't think you did because you'd be gushing right now. Also, I need you to forget what I just implied about me and Wilson, immediate;y.
"Ok, I will, forget, I mean" Levi mutters.
"Glasses what I'm trying to say here is that I think you're gay," she says.
"What? Me? Gay?" he says. "Yeah, Glasses, do you like guys?" says Arizona. "It's nothing to be ashamed of people are very welcoming here," she says. "Even one of the other interns is gay and the new attending, Nico Kim," she says. Glasses start stumbling when she mentions Nico Kim. That's how Arizona knows, knows for sure.
Even if he doesn't. "Wait but none of the other interns came out to me," he said. "That's their call they probably just didn't tell you. But trust me they know they aren't hiding it" she says. "Would they date me?" he asks. "Well you just came out buddy," says Arizona. "Congratulations," she says.
"And no" she continues. "Because it's a gay girl" she deadpans. "Oh," he rolls his eyes. Why hadn't I thought of that? "How did you know?" He asks her. "Well I just know," she says. "I have great gaydar. It comes with the territory. And you crash into crash carts when Nico Kim winks at you" she smiles.
"How did you know YOU were gay," he asks. "Well, I know because I get hands around girls okay? I can't help it. Even if they're residents in a relationship like Wilson" she sighs. "Wait so you and Jo Wilson" he suddenly remember that point. "Me and Jo Wilson what?" she warns. "Did you two, do it? The wait isn't she getting married? Does Alex know?" he panics.
"Relax, glasses. I'll tell you in confidence from gay to gay alright. Alex knows it was his idea. Jo and I hooked up a little when I lived with them and their shower was broken. It's probably not gonna happen again". "Oh sorry to hear that," Levi says. "It's all good, she's getting married. And she's not my type" says Arizona. She gives him a look. "Keep these secrets, Schmidt, now scram," she says and he runs off.
On the day of Jo Wilson and Alex Karev's wedding, Arizona Robbins is leaving town for New York. Just as the going got great Alex's mentor and long time friend is going away. To great things, for the Robbins-Herman Centre for Women's health, for Fetal Surgery for Crash Carts and saving lives.
But she's leaving behind all the lives she's impacted throughout the years. Bailey called her a pixie stick. All sugar no substance until it was a joy to have known her in their lives. Arizona is an active part of the wedding keeping Karev company.
Before they get all sooky and Alex tries to thank Arizona "for everything" and she says "my work here is done" if she got Alex Karev married. Before all that Arizona asks Alex what he wants for his wedding present. "I'm not getting you ramekins" she insists. "You know what I want," says Alex. "You know what I really want" he insists. "You have to say it," Says Arizona laughing.
"Arizona Robbins, I want you to fuck my wife in my bed, in the shower, in my house all over before this wedding before you leave. And give her a license to tell me all about it. I want this day to be as memorable as you can make it okay?" He says. "Just when I thought you'd grown" Arizona grins.
"Have fun ladies!" Alex says as he turns down the shades and locks his front door with his two favorite women inside. "I'll be right here outside waiting for ya. Feel free to be as loud as possible" he says.
