Chi-Chi and Bulma went up to Gohan's room to find him lying on his bed watching television. He still looked pretty down. When they entered, he sat up a bit and made room for his mother to sit down next to him while Bulma sat at his computer desk.

"Gohan, we have an interesting offer for you. If you want to listen, it may make you feel a bit better," his mother said.

"Okay mom," he replied.

"Well son I'll let Bulma explain," his mother said passing it off to her friend.

"Gohan, I have been friends with your mother for a while. I would even say that we've become close as family. I've watched you grow up into a handsome young man and I feel bad about your situation," she explained. "Anyways you know my kids are little and yet my husband is always off training, so I get lonely and need some time away. So I was thinking maybe you and I could go out on a date as friends, it would make you feel better and I can get out of the house."

"Sounds like pity to me. Besides you're married and older...I mean I don't mean it like that. You're also beautiful," he said, not trying to offend her.

"Thank you for the compliment. And No, it's not pity and sure I'm married, but it's not like we're going to have an affair. We can go places where no one will know us or see us," she replied.

"Okay I guess over in Smithtown they got a theatre, we could catch a movie and get a bite to eat there," he said.

"Sounds like a date, pick me up at seven tomorrow night. We will catch the late movie," she said.

"Alright!" He said as they got up to leave.

Gohan always had a small secret crush on Bulma when he was a child. She was friendly, helpful, and intelligent. She had a slim body, milky skin, turquoise colored hair and blue eyes. Although he never showed it, he was actually really looking forward to his pity date with her. It was better than nothing.
