It was the first day of school and I forgot it was the first day of school so I just stayed home and slept. Alright, fine. I knew it was the first day of school but I stayed up all night binge-watching The Walking Dead so I didn't go to school because I was very sleepy. My best friend, Momo, blew up my phone with messages. Ah, I'm very lazy to explain all this so let's just jump to the second day when I finally went to school. Man, I hate school.
"I wanna sleep," I said when we were at the school grounds in our PE uniform waiting for our teacher. We had to do a physical fitness test and I was already so tired just thinking about it.
"Tss." I heard Momo hissing beside me, still mad I didn't show up yesterday. She made a big deal about it being a special day for us two because it was our very first day as "high school girls" together when to me, it was just another first day of another hell of a year. And to be honest, it didn't matter much whether it was the first day or not. She was always excited about school. I honestly don't know what's wrong with her. "You're always sleeping," she added bitterly.
"It's never enough," I replied.
"Are those from Class 1-A?" One girl from behind me was saying in an excited tone.
"Yes. Todoroki's in that class. Urgh. His classmates are so lucky," another responded in obvious jealousy.
I traced where they were looking at and saw another class (also in PE uniforms) across the field.
And that was the very first time I saw him.
"Is that Todoroki?" I joined in the conversation.
Our pink classmate immediately turned to me with wide eyes. "You see him? Where?" Then she deliriously whipped her head around to find where the guy was.
"That gorgeous guy talking to those two dudes."
"Huh.. I don't see Todoroki around," her invisible friend said in confusion. "Just who are you talking about? The red-haired?"
"No."
"Dark-haired?"
"No, that hot guy they're talking with. Spiky ash-blonde."
Momo scoffed. "He's literally facing the other way around, Jiro."
"That's my point. How can anyone look so good from the back?"
