15 October 1979, 8.45 A.M.
Since the misunderstanding that happened in Chicago with Kelso, Jackie was seeking for a chance to talk with Hyde but whenever she tries to speak he was quiping about it and leaving the room. Jackie was getting tired but she was still believing she can fix their relationship.
It was an usual sunday morning at the Forman's house, like usual Kitty calling whole gang to breakfast. When Donna and Jackie came in, Kitty smiled at them. "Morning girls."
Donna sat in the chair next to Red's. "Morning, Mrs. Forman." she looked around. "Where are the others?"
"Oh, honey Eric left early for school registration. Michael and Fez are still trying get used to the apartment so they will have breakfeast there." she put jams to the table. "Steven and Laurie are still sleeping.
Jackie take sip of her orange juice while standing. "Do you want us to wake them?"
"I'd appreciate it. Whenever I try to wake Laurie, she's acting a little bit impolite." she giggled.
Donna walk straight to the Laurie's room cause she knows that Jackie would want to wake Hyde. When Jackie go downstairs she saw some empty bottles, Hyde was probably hangover. She walked straight to his bedroom, but he wasn't there. She was confused then she headed to the kitchen
"Steven isn't in his room Mrs Forman, are you sure that he didn't left early?"
"He might be in Eric's bedroom honey."
Jackie nodded and head to the upstairs for checking Donna and waking Hyde. When Jackie arrived upstairs she saw Donna, Donna was standing outside of Laurie's bedroom and she was petrified.
"Are you waiting for a train, what happened Donna?" Donna gulped and wiped off her hands to her jeans. "I don't know, I just, you know, I don't want to bother her."
Jackie was staring Donna like she was trying to understand situation and raised one of her eyebrows "Bothering her? She won't bother, I'm sure she is used to waking up early, she needs to wake early to run away before wives of her partners see her."
"Jackie, c'mon let's go downstairs."
"Move away Lumberjack, I will wake her up." she pushed Donna and dive into the room. Donna close her face with her hands, this scene wasn't even the last thing that Donna wants to Jackie saw.
"What the hell is going on here!" Hyde and Laurie was naked and they were sleeping together.
Donna mumbled "Looks like she should've wake up earlier for the run today." but nobody heared it.
Jackie was like she had lost her mind. They woke up with Jackie's shouting. Jackie was froozen, she was trying to talk and yell. "This isn't real, she's not sleeping with my boyfriend. I'm gonna kill you tramp!" she was getting louder with each word.
Laurie took her clothes off the floor, she was nervous. "Don't overreact and yell! You will gather everyone!"
"Oh, I'm sorry, You may be used to waking up with someone else's boyfriend but I'm not seeing my boyfriend with the easiest girl in the world everyday!"
Hyde was listening Jackie with anger while getting dressed, he walk through the Jackie and this time he was shouting. "World's easiest girl?" he air quoted Jackie. "Aren't you are the girl who slept with her ex while you were dating ne? Someone you wanted and forced to propose you! I'm really so sick of your spoiled, immature and ego centered attitude. Even if you didn't cheat on me, I'd leave you you're nothing more than a problem. Can't you see? You're out of my system. You're like tick, I'm so tired of seeing you around."
Jackie couldn't move, she was keeping herself so hard for not crying but a few drops fell from her eyes. Donna felt like she had to prevent this fight and stepped between Jackie and Hyde. "Guys, stop it. You two get dressed quick, go downstairs and act like nothing had happend. Jackie calm down. If Red hear any of this, he will kick Hyde out of the house."
They were all staring at Donna shocked, she was so good at crisis management. "C'mon Jackie, let's get you a coffe."
Jackie's tears continued to fall. "Just forget it Donna, I can't handle this anymore." she left the room. Donna looked at ti Hyde in disgust and run after Jackie. When she heared the door slam she get that she had already left home.
Donna entered the kitchen she saw Kitty in confusion. "Why did she left, what happend?"
Donna tried to smile and sit. "Fez and Kelso, invited her." and look at Kitty, she doesn't look like she had bought it.
"This two dumbasses are ruining our breakfast." Red mummured and took a piece of bacon.
15 October 1979, 10:50 A.M.
Jackie was feeling so disappointed and humiliated. What Steven thought he saw was horrible but she tried so hard to explain it. She chased after him for a month but what she got was nothing.
When she arrived Fez and Kelso's apartment she was drowning in her thoughts. In any other case with that much sadness, she would probably would've broke the door but right now she have barely knocked it. She wasn't crying anymore but she was hideous. She remembered the times that Michael cheated her, she would get angry and the cry with anger of not being able to get what she wanted but this time she was crying with pain and sadness.
When Fez opened the door he couldn't believed that exhausted person is his goddess. "What happened to you my beautiful goddess?" he was so worried, with this tiny attention Jackie losed herself again.
Michael walked through to door. "Who's that, what took you so long?" he saw that Jackie hugging Fez while she cries, now he was worried too.
Finally Jackie get inside and start crying again. "Ugh, Michael you're the culprit of everything!" after a while she tried to talk again. "Steven, Steven..." she couldn't continue and throwed herself to the couch.
Fez was patting Jackie's back, Jackie took a deep breath and tried to talk again.
"This morning I was at Forman's house, I mean we were, there was Donna too. Mrs Forman was setting the table so she asked us to wake Steven and Laurie up." she stopped for a breath. " I go to downstairs for wake Steven but he wasn't there. So Mrs Forman told me to check Eric's room, you know he's bed is comfy and Eric wasn't at the house so we thought that he can be there. When I go upstairs Donna was standing outside of Laurie's room and I dived into room."
Jackie was about to cry, she hold herself. "When I got in, he was there with Laurie and naked." Jackie hugged Fez and started to cry again. She tried to tell them the things Steven told here while sobbing.
Kelso was feeling so guilty, they hushed for a while and Kelso broke the silence. "Jackie I'm so sorry, I swear I will do anything to fixed this situation."
"There is nothing you can do, Michael. He hates me and he is sleeping with whores!" Jackie was
angry.
Fez hugged Jackie "You look so tired my goddess, let's try to rest for a while." Jackie nodded queitly and lay down to the couch. For a couple of minutes she fell asleep.
With Donna's and Fez's voices Jackie woke up by the evening. She rubbed her eyes and look around her. It took couple of seconds to remember why she was here.
Donna and Fez were trying to speak queitly for Jackie but she was still hearing. "Stupid Hyde, nobody cares about you and what you did with your stupid little dick but saying those words to Jackie, there is no explanation in the world for this." Donna was really angry.
Fez nodded. "I really don't know what we should do, Jackie was broken."
Donna took a deep breath. "We're going to support her, she needs to move on."
Jackie walk through to kitchen and sit with her friends. "I fell asleep, what time is it?"
"It's 6 p.m., how are you feeling?"
Jackie tried to smile. "I've never been that bad." Donna hugged Jackie.
"We're gonna be with you, don't afraid. Everything's gonna get better."
"Thank you guys, where is Michael?"
Fez answered. "He wasn't feeling well, he said he needed a breath."
Jackie crossed her arms and scowled. "He should be, all of this happened because of him."
Donna rolled her eyes."Jackie this situation isn't about Kelso, What happened Chicago made you guys break up but what Hyde did was so wrong you chase after him for a month and tried to talk to him. He didn't want to listen and all the things he said this morning, this is about the relationship not about Kelso."
Jackie shook her head. "No Donna, we're going to make it up like we did all the time. I'm sure he's going to do something for apologizing but this time he needs to try hard."
Donna couldn't believe, Jackie's blindness. "Jackie please think rational, he doesn't want to be with you. This is not fair for you to be with someone doesn't want you, you can't do this to yourself. If you don't know your own worth, how does others know that?"
Jackie was about the answer but door bell interrupted her, Fez talked again. "It's must be Kelso, I will answer it." and walk through to door.
When Kelso entered the house and raised his bags. "Jackie I don't know how to fix this situation but now you can get drunk and forget everything for a while." Fez took the bags and started fill glasses.
Jackie gave a simple smile to Michael.
Jackie was still thinking about what Donna said, she was right this situation wasn't fair, she had to protect herself. Jackie thought about this all night. Donna left early and Fez was asleep, Jackie and Michael was drinking queitly.
Michael broke the silence. "Jackie, I know it's all my fault but sometimes I forget there would be consequences for my actions. I'm really sorry and I promise you I'm gonna be a better friend.
It was the first time for Jackie to saw Michael that much regretting.
"At first, I thought that you were the reason but when I talked to Donna I saw what the real problem is. Our relationship was toxic for both of us, you just speeded up the process. I tried everything I can do but he just don't want me, I understand it. Our characters are so different he's not happy with me. I was so dumb."
She giggled. "He said you're out of my system I'm a virus to him. He even say that I'm a tick you know the bug one." with the effect of alcohol she continued to giggling, Michael started to giggle too and this giggles turned into laughs.
"Jackie, it's kinda late, we need to sleep I'm think everything's gonna be better tomorrow."
Jackie smiled. "I'm sure Michael, everything's gonna be better tomorrow."
Next day Fez woke up with the door bell. It was Donna, she was curious about Jackie. When she get inside Kelso woke up too. "Guys, where is Jackie? I hope you didn't let her go home that way."
Kelso shook his head. "No, no she's sleeping in my room."
Fez's face softened, he talked while he's walking through the kitchen corner. "Let her sleep til the breakfast gets ready. She's so tired."
Kelso talked while yawning. "I need to get ready for work, don't worry I can take my clothes queitly." He walk through his door, the room was empty and the bed was up.
"Jackie, Jackie!" he called her name few times but there was no answer. He run through the living room.
"Guys, Jackie isn't there!" Fez was looking worried. "Where is she? You said she was sleeping."
Donna was looking very calm. "Probably she's at home, keep calm dummies. She needs to be alone for a while."
Fez was pouting. "I'm just worried about my goddess." Donna smiled understandingly. "Don't worry, she's gonna be okay."
Kelso relaxed. "Okay I'm getting ready, be quick I will leave you guys to the Forman's it's on my way."
Fez got dreamy. "Mmmh, I hope Kitty baked this brownies." Donna laughed about how excited about Fez is about the food.
16 October 1979, 4:35 P.M.
"... and his morning when I went to the Fez and Kelso's apartment but Jackie wasn't there, probably she's at home but I'm still worrying about her. I'm going to check her in the evening."
Donna was telling the whole story to Eric, Eric was about the response but they heared step sounds and both of them hushed.
It was Hyde, he barely understand that this conversation is about Jackie but he didn't hear much. He thought "What happened to Jackie and why they're hiding it from me?" Then he remembered I'm the jackass who happened to her so they don't want me to know anything about her right now.
It was obvious that Donna is angry and Eric was smiling nervously. When Hyde sat on his chair Donna tease him. "Look Eric, isn't this guy who slept with the devil?"
Eric nodded. "Yeah, he must be so brave."
Hyde just sighed. "Look man, I don't owe any explanation to any one. Don't bother me."
He wasn't feeling regretful. He was a single man and he could do everything he wants with everyone.
"Hyde, she is Laurie the human form of the satan. She is killing puppies for fun!"
"Look Forman, it was a one time thing and I'm not going to make this talk with anyone, I did it because I want it." he stood up for a popsicle.
When Hyde walk through to freezer the door opened, Fez and Kelso walked in. He wasn't sure but probably they know this whole Laurie thing too. He just didn't care, he just said Jackie to get lost she was bothering him so much. Jackie was the cheater one and also she lied about it. She can't even stand up for what she did, she was such a coward.
Fez seemed quite frustrated. After seeing Jackie last night how he could be calm. Fez began to whisper in a tone that Hyde couldn't heard. ''You son of a bitch.'' Fez proceeded toward him but Kelso stopped Fez.
Hyde took a popsicle from the freezer. Fez choose to ignore him when Hyde sat back in his chair. Kelso sat next to Eric and Donna. Everyone was angry, it was evident from the look on their faces.
Kelso scratched himself fakely, he was waiting for Hyde to bring up the issue. "I think I have ticks on my body!" he yelled.
Hyde took a deep breath. "What's wrong with you Kelso?"
Kelso crossed his arms "Oh, I believe you know, you know what's wrong with me very well." Then he continued "You know very well about that whole tick thing" he air quoted as he said the word tick.
Hyde got up from his chair, he was trying to stay calm. "You're the last person to talk about this, Kelso."
Donna whispered to Kelso to calm him, but as soon as Kelso decided to remain silent, Fez began to lose his calm. "You made Jackie so sad that no one else ever could, you whore."
"Call it even then" Hyde continued to eat his popsicle without caring any of it. He didn't thought about arguing with anyone, he believed he was right about it."
After Fez's rant, Kelso decided to not remain silent. "You should've seen her yesterday, dude. Even after my countless deceptions, She had never been destroyed like that. But you're crushing her every time."
"I don't fuckin' care about her, Is it too hard to understand?" Hyde threw the popsicle.
He was sick of listening to the same things. Everybody was talking about Jackie's innocence like it does exist. "Do you know what was the worst thing that happened to our relationship? It was not what I did, it was you! '' they were all silent. "Especially you Kelso, Have some dignity and shut up a little bit!" He seemed mad.
Kelso and Hyde were face to face, others were trying to figure out who's going to start the fight. Eric and Donna were watching their faces. Fez got up from his seat and stood next to Kelso.
Eric spoke in a calm tone. "Hyde you're angry right now and you don't realize what you're saying. Both of you, sit down."
Donna grabbed both of them on the shoulder. "You two have been friends for a very long time. Cut this nonsense and calm down."
"Oh, you know who should cut it? Hyde!"
Hyde sighed. "You know that man, talk all you want. I'm leaving." He grabbed his coat and stormed out.
