Ok so now we all know I suck so let's just get into this. Decided to start at the part where Laxus would land on the island and then jump to where Lucy is fighting Sherry because well I would be parroting the episodes and no one- or rather I would not want to read that if I were a reader. Just figured if you wanted to you can watch them yourself you don't need me parroting them. That would be boring. So I'm starting there where Erza would have come in KOing Angelica. But instead it will be Laxus. I would like it to be known I spent all day from 11-5 writing this on Monday, and thought this was saved...It was over 10k words and I've never raged this hard. My mother thought I went insane for a moment.

By the way Guest, you said that "last part..." Which made me super curious. I wondered if I made like a sexual innuendo or something at the end of the last chapter LoL so idk was that good or bad? If you ever read this let me know.

Dear Alicia, whats up? Lol I love that I'm now like ah yes when is she going to see this and leave a review? It's good. I like it lol Anyways, I thought about what you said and I personally think Team Nastu would have formed still but if he had been there I think he would have respected them all a lot more. And maybe he would have slightly different views on the weak vs. strong. But he would have still had issues the way Mashima set up his character he needed that wake up call and soul searching year off from the guild. Just think he would be nicer.

However if it had been LALU it def would have been more Gajeel and Levy style I think? I have an idea that will be exploring all of that. And this is going to be a good foundation for LaLu which is my crack ship that sails next to NaLu. It's what I'm pondering and going for seeing Laxus and Lucy relate to one another with their fathers, and trying be known not what their families have done but making their own places in the world. And again just being a good foundation for their ship if we all had our way XD Mainly me, if I had my way XD

Today I'm off and I'm going to be cleaning up a few posted stories and one shots I've got up on here like I noticed in one story autocorrect changed Risley into Leslie *face palm* So yeah minor corrections day. I also may have an editor! Readers are probably like thank god! Discussions are happening but she's not a LaLu fan! It hurts her soul, lol so maybe I can venmo drinking money instead XD we're talking.

By the way I took liberties with Lucy's backstory. Full heads up. Also Laxus is an asshole, a hurt asshole in this story. He's coming around so yeah prepare for him being an asshole this chapter!

And action!

Here's what happens next...

When the ship landed on the island Laxus had to keep himself from kissing the damn ground. Land-sweet, not moving or rocking land.

"What the fuck is that!?" He heard the captain scream pointing in the air. Laxus was stunned was that a giant green rat in a maids costume? Just what the fuck did he get himself into!?

He heard what sounded like Blondie's voice. He saw the giant rat thing stop flying, and start falling.

'What the fuck!?'

"Stay here!" He ordered to the crew. The crew nodded more than happy to oblige.

Laxus took off down the beach trying to locate where the thing went down at. This just got interesting...

Luck must have been on his side when he finally came across one of four of his targets. Laxus held himself back when he ran across Lucy. He was half tempted to let herself get killed but the pink haired mage said something that caught him off guard.

"Aquarius! How does a weakling like you!? Have a spirit with that kind of power!?"

Laxus raised an eyebrow. When Lucy first came into the guild hall, he was caught off guard. The girl was exactly his type. Feisty, blonde, big boobed, tiny waist and curves in all the right places. He was convinced she had to be a double agent sent by his father, how could she be that dead perfect in being his type? Then he found out her magic and was disgusted, BUT he had a lot of questions about her and her magic. He had heard of Karen Lilica from Blue Pagasus, had quite the reputation of being a formidable foe. But that she also hid behind her spirits. Which Laxus thought was trash. When he heard that Blondie had joined and practiced the same magic, he did some investigating. He would always believe that caster magic was stronger than holder magic that must be made clear. Sorry Bickslow. But according to Freed, celestial wizards if powerful enough could be formidable as any strong caster wizard. Apparently a spirit was only as powerful as it's wizard. Since there were different spirits that did different things that meant different kinds of magics and also they had abnormally large magic containers to practice their magic. Laxus was skeptical. So he snuck into his grandfather's office and looked at her file. He was surprised at a number of things...

1. She didn't put her last name

2. She had to register apparently all her keys, she had 3 zodiac keys, which was a big deal according to Freed when she first signed up.

3. She had somehow gotten away with filling out all the documents that required identification without providing any, when Laxus tried to bring it up his grandfather at how that was suspicious, his grandfather finally gave it a good look over. She apparently filled out just enough and in the right way to where she didn't need to provide any...she had essentially gotten away it. He tried to make his grandfather see his way about Lucy but his grandfather wouldn't listen.

He narrowed his eyes maybe this would be a good time to watch her and find something out...He chuckled when he heard this "Aquarius," make fun of her for not having a boyfriend. Savage.

Laxus was amazed at the magical energy behind that wave attack as it washed Sherry and Lucy up on shore. He raised an eyebrow when he heard Aquarius say something about the pink haired mage being dumber than Lucy.

"I can close my own gate. Moron."

Laxus chuckled he didn't know who Aquarius was but he liked her style. He watched Lucy struggle to get to her feet. She was stumbling around like she was smashed. "Leave it to Aquarius to wash me and the enemy away." Laxus laughed again, this was too funny. So this happened often?

"I hate myself for allowing you to trick me again," Sherry said trying to get up. Laxus raised an eyebrow the corners of lips turning upwards. Again? Surely Blondie wasn't that clever?

Sherry and Lucy faced opposite directions their backs against one another. They both were stumbling to stay upright.

"It doesn't matter cause she still wasn't powerful enough to destroy my rock doll!"

"And so what!?" Lucy said indignantly. "That wasn't the point! The point was to get you away from your stupid rock doll, and take you down so you couldn't throw another rock or tree doll or whatever at me!"

Laxus was mildly impressed. Smart thinking there Blondie. Maybe she wasn't just a dumb blonde...

"Which obviously worked! Because clearly you're just as dizzy as me to control that stupid thing!"

They finally ran into one another. They stared at one another. Laxus wasn't sure who leapt first, but damn! This had to be the most comical cat fight he had ever seen! His perverse mind for a moment thought it would be hot if they started making out on the beach...

He was stirred out of his day dream when he heard Lucy scream. "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR MESSING WITH A MEMBER OF FAIRY TAIL!"

"I can't believe we ended up in stalemate!"

"What do you mean stalemate!? I'm obviously the winner!"

Laxus bit his tongue, this was too funny. They weren't even hitting each other half of the time. This fight was pointless.

"You can't just declare yourself the winner of a fight! If that's the case I'm the winner!"

"I don't think so!" Lucy screamed throwing everything she had into a single punch to Sherry's jaw.

Laxus nodded his head. That was rough, but not bad. She had potential, he thought. Her skills in hand to hand combat were garbage but at least she can give a mean right hook.

"I've lost!? Me!?" Sherry exclaimed surprised.

"Although the burning light that is my life has been extinguished, my love for you is genuine Cold Emperor, and will live on forever!"

Laxus cringed, that was creepy. That reminded him something that Freed or some girl who thought they were in love with him would say. Creepy.

"OK! You're not going to die so can we cut down on the dramatics?" Laxus had to agree.

"Angelica...Avenge your Master's death." Sherry cried.

"Huh!? I thought that giant rat was one of your puppets!" Laxus's eyes widen when he saw the giant rat come out of nowhere. That was big ass rat.

He looked back over to Blondie, she collapsed to the ground.

"My legs! Crap! I can't move!"

Laxus sighed. Now was the time to put on his mask of indifference. He jumped into the air as Angelica was going to belly flop on Lucy...

Lucy screamed as Angelica was about to fall on top of her. That's when she saw a whirl of black and what looked like white fur...She gasped...Laxus? She saw a bright yellow light flash before her eyes. She screamed preparing for the shock but it never came. She started hacking when a cloud of dust and sand came up from the ground when Angelica fell. She was still coughing when she saw Laxus land gracefully like a cat on the ground. She hated to admit but he looked super hot and cool standing there as his coat billowed in the wind.

"Laxus?" She questioned.

Laxus turned to look at her. He was glaring at her. Lucy gasped. Whoa! I forgot, she thought, he's probably here to bring us back. Not to mention we broke guild rules! Probably is super pissed we took a S-class mission without permission!

"Lucy. I take it you know why I'm here. You do, don't you?"

"To take us back?"

Laxus glared at her.

"If I said Natsu knocked me out then Gray and took us on this mission, would you hurt me?" It was a long shot...but it was a shot worth taking!

Laxus looked down at her a part of his brain admired the way her boobs filled out that little pink top. It probably contributed to the grin on his face, also he was just an asshole. He walked forward crouching down to be at her level. "What do you think?"

Off to the distance a man in a tribal mask watched the exchange smiling. He hid when he saw Happy flying in the distance.

"Hey! I've been looking all over for you!"

Lucy was shaking like a leaf.

"I'm glad you're ok! I was so worried about you!" Happy said genuinely. He had grown to care about Lucy in the short time they had spent together. Happy stopped and gasped when he saw Laxus's coat billowing in the wind on the beach. Happy squeaked, trembling. He tried to high tail it out of there as fast as he could but Laxus's lighting was much faster. Laxus shot a bolt from his hand, Happy went down to the ground with a thud. He walked calmly over to where he lied and picked him up by his tail.

"Now where's Natsu?" He growled.

"I don't know...I know you're probably mad that we took this mission but Laxus before you take us back we gotta finish this mission! Some awful things have been happening on this island!"

Laxus just continued to stare at her.

"There's this guy and he's trying to revive some frozen demon, and the islands villagers are suffering because of some Moon Drip spell. They've turn into monsters. We just thought since we got marooned here, and if we worked together we could help them out."

"None of that is my concern."

Laxus wasn't a rule enforcer by any means, but he respected the rules and knew they had to be followed. He hated them at times, he vaguely thought of his dad. Even his grandfather didn't spare him, and that was his son. His dad, that was a touchy subject. He shook his head annoyed he was thinking about this. He came in to play the role of rule enforcer so that's what he had to do.

"Please Laxus let us finish the job!"

"NO! YOU broke the rules and now you've got to face the punishment Blondie. You won't be finishing this. Thanks for ruining Fairy Tail's reputation even further!"

"Screw the rules! If you just let us finish this, then we wouldn't ruin Fairy Tail's reputation!"

The mind can be a strange and a funny thing. Triggers, can appear out of nowhere or something vaguely similar can happen to cause extreme emotional responses. Laxus glared at her as he remembered saying something similar about his father when he was banished. Screw the rules? No! His own father wasn't spared why the hell should this brat be pleading with him about this? He was so angry he was sparking. Electricity was dancing all over his skin.

Lucy gasped at what she was seeing.

"I don't think you understand the situation. The three of you have betrayed my grandfather!" While they hadn't been super close over the past few years he still cared for the old man, he remembered the sadness in his eyes when he found out Ivan betrayed him. "When we get back you three will be kicked out and hopefully banned from joining another guild ever!" He snarled as a giant bolt of lightning sparked from his body and collided with a boulder. Lucy screamed as she saw it hit the boulder and it turn into dust.

'Ok, now I'm scared,' she thought.

Lucy was scared. And that terror is what kept her from saying anything. She was stuck alone at night in the jungle with a man who she wasn't quite sure if he wanted to kill her or not. Laxus was growling to himself, she could hear his teeth grinding. Laxus was trying to make his way back to the village based off of his sense of smell. Which wasn't nearly as good as Natsu's. He would never admit it, but he had a horrible sense of direction. He usually relied on his team to tell him where to go, or if he felt inclined he would ask for directions. But he was slightly embarrassed that he lost control of his magic in front of Blondie. So he was grumbling and essentially pouting.

"Stupid idiots-" He muttered.

"What was that?" She asked from behind him.

"I said you all are stupid idiots! You were dumb for even thinking about going on this mission." He rambled, "you're not even experienced enough to take on a mission like this! You don't have the training! You should have brought someone with experience on this mission-"

Lucy looked down at the ground pouting.

"Well I don't see you offering to train anyone or help out in general." She said feeling bold.

"I've got better things to do than train the newbies or babysit. You should be able take care of yourself and figure it out." He growled.

"Well you can't complain then," she grumbled.

"And what the hell is that suppose to mean!?" He growled. Lucy was beginning to noticed that was all he did.

"You're contradicting yourself. How do you expect anyone to do what you're suggesting and not help yourself? Mira doesn't do this stuff anymore and Erza is only Erza. I'm not aware of any other S-Class mages in the guild... No you don't have to train everyone. Yes, I shouldn't have agreed to go on this mission. I'm not S-Class and I just joined a guild with no former mage experience. What you're talking about though seems to have people sink or swim, yes most will learn but you're not helping them get to where they need to be or at a level you want them personally to be at. Since you seem to like talking about not having weak mages in your guild wouldn't that be necessary? If that makes sense. It's going to take longer for them to improve. If you know better, why don't you help share knowledge and not growl at people and complain people aren't strong enough." She said making sure to not trip on any roots. "Why don't you help out others you see as "weak". Help them get to the level you want them to be so that they can be successful and the guild can be successful. That being said just because you think someone is weak doesn't mean they are though."

Laxus stopped for a moment considering her words. Lucy decided to take advantage though, finally feeling bold.

"Laxus… where are we going?" Lucy asked, trailing behind the tall blond. They weren't even heading the right way for the village, let alone the area where everyone retreated to she figured. She could be wrong but she doubted it.

"The village." Laxus answered as if that were the most obvious thing in the world.

"But-"

"But what though?" He growled dangerously.

"We're going the wrong way-" She said nervously. She couldn't help but blinked when she saw Laxus's right shoulder twitch ever so slightly.

Lucy flinched. She saw the look in his eyes.

"And why the hell did you not say anything!?"

Anger burned in Lucy's eyes. "Why you-" Lucy said stomping her feet.

Birds fled from the trees they were sitting in from the sound of their yelling. Lucy almost screamed at the sound of wings flapping behind her, trembling slightly. Laxus eyed her, this girl wants to be a mage? He wondered. God, she really needed all the help she could get.

"It's that way," She said regaining composure. Laxus started to head in the wrong direction again. Lucy sighed. "… Your going the wrong way you know."

Laxus flinched. "No I'm not. You said the village was this way." Laxus argued, looking forward.

"No, I said that you had to go North, we are going South."

"You never said North! You just said "this direction!"" Laxus argued.

"All right, fine maybe I did, but that doesn't change the fact that you are going the wrong way. You would be making us go in the way we came from if we went that way." Lucy smirked internally at Laxus's red face.

"Shut up!" Laxus snapped whirling around and walking in the other direction.

"You really are a strange guy…."

"What did you say?" Laxus asked over his shoulder.

"Nothing!" Lucy covered up quickly running after him.

Laxus started to feel less agitated as time went on, his mind was racing. He had to get back so that he could start learning how to do paperwork. If he pulled this off he would be one step closer to being successful in taking over the guild. He had come up with a take over plan months back, but he had been debating about doing it or not. However, if his grandfather was going to train him maybe he wouldn't have to do that.

"So what did Master say to convince you to come and get us?" Lucy asked, eyeing a vine that looked a little too much like a snake.

"Huh?"

"What did-"

"I heard you but what makes you think he had to convince me?"

Lucy stopped and put her hands on her hips, "cause I doubt you did it from the bottom of your heart because you care about Natsu."

Laxus actually chuckled at that. "You're right about that. If you must know he said he would train me to become guild master."

Lucy gasped at that, well it made sense, he was the masters grandson. Still didn't scare her any less but as Laxus said earlier she was going to be kicked out soon...

"The minute I get back he's teaching me about the paperwork."

Lucy made some disgusted noise in her throat. Paperwork, gross.

"And what was that sound for?" He said annoyed.

"Sorry. It wasn't directed at you it was just," she shuddered, "paperwork." As if that answered everything.

Laxus raised an eyebrow at this. "You've got a lot of experience with it?"

Lucy made a strangled like noise in her throat. "Too much." Is all she decided to say on that subject thinking about all the hours her father had made her sit down and learn the different types of business forms and tax forms and oh God- it was just gross.

"So Blondie," Laxus decided to ask now curious, "what's your story?" If she was familiar with paperwork maybe that's why she knew what to do with the forms in her file and how she knew to get around it all without the usual ways of identification.

Lucy lifted an eyebrow. "Why would you need to know? And don't call me Blondie."

Laxus was annoyed. "Because I want to know who the hell is in my guild when I take over-not that you'll be in for much longer once we get back. But to pass time tell me..what's your story? Your file back at the guild is incredibly thin. I noticed how you didn't even put your last name down. And I'll call you Blondie if I want to."

Lucy winced, he read her file?

"Nothing too crazy." She finally decided to say, "my father is a businessman, and is- well very good at it. He was training me to take over the company. That's why I'm familiar with paperwork and why I loathe it. And why would you call me Blondie, your blonde too."

Laxus nodded seemed simple enough. Laxus ignored her last statement, "why did you leave?"

Lucy cringed. She was scared to tell him the truth. Laxus picked up on her mood change. Fear radiating from her. He turned back around. What did he say? He thought. "If you think I'm weak already I sure as hell don't want to tell you why I left." She said uncomfortably.

Laxus glared at her. "What daddy didn't give you what you wanted?" He said mockingly. Lucy looked uncomfortable. He felt like he had struck a nerve. "What did you want? Huh?" He laughed. "Not the right clothing? Jewelry? Maybe a boy-" Lucy winced at that.

"So it was a boy?" Lucy remained tight lipped.

"Oh please don't tell me he asked you to run away with him but bring the family jewels and left you high and dry-"

"I was assaulted." She said quietly.

That stopped Laxus dead in his tracks.

"I was assaulted by the man my father arranged my marriage to, he snuck into my room uninvited. And he tried holding me down and rip my night dress. I was lucky a maid came by who had heard me screaming." She said voice shaking. "She pulled him off of me and he hit her, I went running for a butler. And told him what happened. His father beat him senseless, my father was only worried about my virginity and whether he could still go through with the arrangement. My father called a doctor to check on my- uh downstairs area and they discovered my hymen was broken," she blushed furiously admitting all of this.

"A couple days later, said doctor cast a spell on me to regrow my hymen to make sure there was no social stain on my character...I left shortly after that. I couldn't stand it." She looked down at the ground. Even though it was two years ago and she had gone to therapy and had the support of Aquarius and Cancer it still got to her sometimes. It felt shameful when she knew there was nothing to be ashamed of...

Laxus just stared at her. What the actual fuck. Lucy looked down, "so yeah I guess you probably find me disgusting and weak."

Laxus swallowed, he knew he was treading on thin ice. "No, that man was an asshole. And no woman deserves that. I respect the fact that you left if that was the case. Surprised that your dad was able to find someone to do that spells like that are illegal."

Lucy winced, "doesn't matter to some when you are paid high enough. That was two years ago. I've gone to enough counseling since then to get through it but I couldn't go back to my former life where my virginity is all that mattered- and just what was expected of me, wasn't me. I'm not made for that life so I've left that life and I don't want to be known for that! Or what my dad did or does. He created his empire from the ground up and I respect that, but it's time for me to find my own place in this world. I just want to be known as Lucy. I want to go on adventures and improve my magic, and collect more keys. Change the way the world looks at celestial mages. I've got a long way to go but- I feel like I can do it. I'm willing to put the hard work in!" She said rambling.

Laxus stopped again. That hit his soul. He understood that. "I can respect that."

"Do you?"

Laxus scowled annoyed at himself for feeling the need to elaborate. "All my life I've been compared to what my grandfather has done and accomplished, and even to my father. So anything I do bad or good is reflected and compared. Which sucks, like you I want to be known as a man in my own right. And I have."

Lucy sighed in relief. He understood. He really understood. However, something in the way Laxus said that didn't convince Lucy. "Have you though? For yourself or to others?" She questioned. For some reason it was something she really needed to know. Laxus was silent however.

Laxus swallowed, and shook his head. He hadn't to himself and he was less sure about others but he wasn't going to admit that. Lucy gave him a look, it was one he couldn't read and it made him anxious. He didn't like this seemingly beautiful woman was making him anxious.

"Come on, the village is this way," was the response she got. He walked forward pushing through some bushes. Lucy stood there staring at where he disappeared. For a moment she felt like she had really connected with Laxus. Like he really understood her and she understood him. She smiled to herself. It was nice. She felt something nagging her, something that she should recognize from this moment. Until she remembered that crater...

She gasped. "Laxus!" She screamed running to catch up to him. She ran faster when he heard what sounded like a yelp. Lucy ran over to the crater sliding on her knees.

"Are you ok?" She asked him.

Laxus looked stunned, dirt on his face. What just happened? He nodded, and got up and summoned enough of his magic to teleport out of the hole. "What the hell happened here?" He asked looking around.

"The guys I told you about who are trying to revive that demon," she said as Laxus nodded in response, "they did this. They dropped this acid jelly on all of us, Natsu hit at it with his fire causing it to go around us thankfully. After that I got separated from them to fight Sherry. The villagers retreated and Natsu fought off the other two," Laxus nodded, damn that's some serious shit. Killing an entire village is pretty cold and up there in his "Thats fucked up," book.

Lucy looked up to him, he mentally cursed at how big and innocent her doe eyes looked in the purple creepy moonlight. "Laxus we've got to help them!"

"No we don't! You don't get the situation. I'm taking you back and that's final!" He growled. "You said the villagers retreated?"

Lucy nodded. Laxus sighed he looked down at the unconscious cat in his hands. He shook Happy awake who looked dazed.

"Wha-"

"Oi! Cat! Wake up! I need you to wake up and scout out where the villagers wandered off to!"

Happy nodded, but he was still a bit disorientated. When he could finally stand on his own, he flew into the air. He scouted ahead and saw this large clearing they were at. Happy nodded and flew back down to where Lucy and Laxus were.

"I found it! They went that way, just keep going straight, we're going in the right direction." He said pointing up ahead. Laxus was thankful the cat pointed and said to go straight. He did not need to look like a dumbass in front of the cat who would just go back and tell everyone. "Alright, now come back down! You've already wasted enough of my time!"

Lucy was angry, "you jerk! Don't talk to Happy like that! You knocked him out and you're expecting him to pop up like a daisy after that!? Not to mention if it weren't for him we would be wandering around in circles probably!" Lucy was angry. "Erza does the same thing too and it's unreasonable to expect people to be a hundred after knocking someone out!"

Laxus's shoulder was twitching. 'Who did this brat think she was!?'

"Uh Lucy it's really ok! Why don't we just start heading to the spot now okay?" He said flying down. If he were being honest he was still woozy but he wasn't going to tell Laxus that.

Lucy nodded grumbling, holding out her arms for the little cat to fly into. Laxus was angry, he turned around and decided to walk ahead. When Laxus was out of earshot Happy snuggled into Lucy's boobs. Cozy, he thought. "Hey Lucy."

"Yeah," she asked softly scratching his head. Happy was purring.

"Are you really that dumb?"

"Wha-"

"Because no one talks to Laxus like that except Mira and Master." He looked at her like she had lost some marbles, but he wasn't sure if she had many to begin with anyways.

"Well maybe more people should! I wasn't going to let him disrespect you like that." Happy was silent at that. He continued purring, snuggling into her boobs. In that moment he felt safe and warm.

Laxus noticed they weren't following him, fuck he couldn't just lose them! He whirled around and walked back, he pushed a branch away from him. He saw Lucy talking softly to Happy. She was scratching his ears as he kneaded her boobs, snuggling against them. For some reason Laxus felt a pang of jealousy. He wanted to do that! No! Just no! Bad Laxus! He couldn't think about that! But for a moment he did...from the deep recesses of his brain he could hear a purr. It was a voice that usually told him when to duck, keep quiet and other various instincts. Why was it purring though?

Lucy turned around at that moment. She looked at him questioning him. "I noticed you weren't following me. Come on!" He growled, trying to not dwell on the purr...

They walked in silence for the rest of the way, Lucy was looking distraught at all the destruction the acid jelly caused. Well this was S-Class level shit is all he thought. People are cold and ruthless and Blondie was learning that. They finally got to the storage place that the villagers retreated too. When he got there he saw some rope and he picked it up. Lucy eyed him, he shrugged.

"I'm Laxus from Fairy Tail, where are our companions?" He asked rather rudely. Lucy rolled her eyes cradling a sleeping Happy in her arms. A male villager looked scared for a moment at seeing Laxus's huge hulking form. He wasn't sure if he was a friend or foe. The other mages while not professional were a heck of lot nicer than this guy!

"The one with black hair is passed out in that tent over there," a female villager said pointing to a tent. "The pink haired one-I'm not sure. He stayed behind to fight the other two mages."

Laxus growled. Damn Natsu!

The villagers backed up scared of the mage. Lucy looked around alarmed. "Laxus!" She hissed. Laxus whirled around to yell at her, when he noticed the villagers faces. They looked exhausted and scared. He pinched the bridge of his nose. For all intents and purposes Laxus was a asshole. However, he wasn't a monster. These people had just lost their homes and were dealing with whatever curse this was-which now that he saw it was awful. He took a deep breath and rubbed his face. "I'm sorry about that. And my condolences about losing your village this evening." He said in a gentle voice. Lucy was stunned, she hadn't heard Laxus ever speak like that. If she was being honest, she never knew he had it in him.

"I'm here to collect the mages that came here, if what I was told is true, this mission is above their skill level at this point." Lucy smiled, he actually sounded like a decent human being talking. Laxus looked at her from the side. Why was she smiling?

"When our companion wakes up send him over to our tent," Laxus said. A female villager nodded. "Finally, is there a place we can stay for the night?"

The female villager nodded again and pointed to a tent. Laxus nodded, and ushered Lucy into the tent. "That was actually very nice of you-" she said before feeling a jolt of electricity go down her spine. She wanted to scream but all that came out was moan.

"Kinky...Sorry Blondie but you have a history of running away and I can't have that. I want to start learning about how to be a guild master as quickly as possible."

Lucy held on to Happy, who woke up with a scream as she fell to the ground. She glared at him. "Cool huh? If I hit a certain points on the body I can temporarily paralyze you. Or," he said shooting a small spark at her head, "make your brain all hazy and disorientated." Lucy's head was spinning as Laxus picked her up. "I can also make people tell me the truth if I send a spark right here," he said pointing at her head. "Or cry," he said pointing to another spot. "Or my favorite! Cum!" He sent a little spark to one part of her head, Lucy held back the moan that threatened to rip from her body. Laxus frowned, feisty. Most woman didn't like that one though he could name only 2 he slept with that did. It surprised him Blondie moaned when he electrocuted her earlier. Interesting...

"Sorry Blondie," he said finishing tying up Lucy, he tightened the ropes around her boobs. He smiled perversely looking down at them. "This isn't tit bondage porn you know?!"

Laxus raised an eyebrow at this, "you know Blondie, you have made me insanely more curious about you. How do you know about the different types of porn?" She glared at him, and just when she thought he had a heart too. "I'm actually going to be sad when you get kicked out of the guild at this point."

"I should tell you right now," he said leaning in whispering in her ear, "I have a thing for bondage," Lucy shivered glaring at him. He internally smirked at that. This was fun. Too bad she's getting kicked out. Lucy glared at him, as he walked away to tie up Happy who was shaking and crying...

Gray walked into the tent he was directed too. When he opened up the flap to enter it he nearly screamed and wet his pants. Laxus was waiting for him, Lucy and Happy were tied up. He looked pissed. They sent Laxus after all-

"You made me wait. That's not smart."

"LAXUS! WAIT! Why are they tied up?"

"Lucy has gotten me up to speed on everything that has happened. I thought you were sent here to stop them and bring them back huh? What happened to me not being the only one strong enough physically to bring Nastu back.. I would like to say I'm shocked. But I'm not-" he said sarcastically.

"Where's Natsu?" He asked standing up.

"Wait he's not here? Where is he?" Gray asked shocked. Laxus looked annoyed. "No, that's what I would like to know as well or I wouldn't have asked."

"The last time I saw him he was fighting the other Cold Emperor's henchmen. But when we went back last night to the village everyone was gone. Wherever he is I hope he's ok. Then Laxus wanted us to find the villagers. But I had no idea where you ended up."

"So I did some scouting and saw that the villagers retreated to this storage area."

"Ok, so we're searching for Natsu and then we're heading back to the guild.

"What!? We can't leave just yet! If Lucy really did fill you in on what's happened then you know why we can't leave!"

Laxus looked down at the ground. "And what would be your point?"

Gray was stunned at Laxus's cold answer.

"I came here to retrieve you three for breaking the rules, Lucy told me you tried but Nastu knocked you out. I'm not interested in anything else Gray."

"Rules!?" Gray said parroting Lucy, "haven't you seen what the people on this island look like?"

"I have."

"And you're still going to turn your back on them?" Gray said shaking his fist.

"Gray, their request is posted on every board in every guild hall all over Fiore! What they want is insane, we can't destroy the moon! And you don't even know if the spell is doing this to them! In any case it's better for someone with S-Class clearance to do this mission."

"How could you be so heartless!?"

Laxus turned around glaring. Lucy coughed uncomfortably.

"THAT'S NO WAY TO SPEAK TO THE GREAT LAXUS!"

"Great...? Suck up!" Lucy mumbled.

Laxus heard that and glared at Lucy who looked down embarrassed. "Gray I don't think Laxus is completely heartless. I think he's being stubborn and wrong. He has his reasons to wanna go back, but he's been super nice to the villagers during all of this. Leading me to believe it's not that he doesn't care about them, he just wants to do the job his grandfather gave him." Laxus stared at Blondie, did she defend me but also call me out? He felt guilty slightly. His heart did go out for these people. He turned back to Gray.

"Have you decided to break the guild rules too now?" This would kinda suck to lose Gray he was a talented wizard. But oh well.

Laxus was preparing to do what he did to Lucy to Gray. He summoned his magic slowly. "If you are, then you will face the same punishment as them."

Gray glared but looked Laxus directly in the eye. "Do what you must! For me there is no other choice to be made. I can't walk away from what's right!" Laxus was caught off guard by that statement slightly. Gray took advantage and walked away from him. Laxus was mad. That honestly sounded something like Freed would say and that pissed him off. Freed was always going on about being nice to the people that the mission affected. Also to take the moral high road and do the right thing. He was growling. He took a deep breath and he heard is grandfather's voice in his head, "sometimes doing the right thing, means breaking a few rules Laxus..."

"I'm seeing this through to the end, and you can't stop me!" Gray said leaving the tent.

Laxus turned around and glared.

"Laxus you know he's right! We have to help them!"

Laxus glowered at them, fucking all to hell! He was pissed off. He grabbed a nearby knife. Happy gasped, "have mercy on me! I have no control over Lucy and Gray!"

Lucy gasped when he approached her. Laxus took a deep breath and carefully cut the ropes. Lucy relaxed as he did so. She smiled, maybe he wasn't so bad after all. Laxus deliberately didn't look at her. "You're really a good guy deep down." She said quietly.

Laxus still didn't look at her, "this is still unacceptable. We'll deal with your punishment later once we've taken care of everything." He said untying Happy as well.

"Thank you!" They said at the same time.

"Don't get the wrong idea. You will be punished."

"Yes sir." Lucy said still smiling up at Laxus on her knees. Laxus had to look away his brain did not grace him with nice images of Lucy being on her knees combined with yes siring him. Well nice depending on who you asked...

"Come on, let's get going!" He growled.

"Defeat Deliora? That's his goal?" Lucy said panting, running and talking is hard!

Lucy and Laxus regrouped with Gray to let him know Laxus had changed his mind and agreed to take them back after the mission was complete. Gray nodded and thanked him when the ground started shaking slightly.

"You don't think?"

"I'll bet money and my coat Salamander had something to do with that." Laxus growled.

They were now running towards the temple. They figured that's where he had to have gone. Gray had decided to fill them in on everything they had missed.

Lucy was thankful when Gray decided to stop, prompting Laxus to stop. Thank God, running with heels and unstrapped boobs hurt.

"Surpassing Ur has always been Lyon's one and only goal. But now that she's gone, he's trying to surpass her by defeating Deliora, the monster she couldn't defeat."

"Well yeah. That would be the only way to surpass someone who was dead."

"Listen," Gray said leaning against a tree, Laxus raised his eyebrow.

"There's something, something I never got to tell him. I kept it a secret, Ur made me promise that I would never let him know but now I have to."

"Ur may not be with us but she's still alive."

Laxus heard Lucy gasp. He was slightly shocked as well. What freaky paranormal shit was happening here? Laxus sighed for the thousandth time that day, well shit just got more interesting...

deleted scenes:

What did he do?" {Her father}

Lucy hesitated, "have you ever been on a railroad?"

Laxus was confused, "Yeah what does that have to do with anything? They criss cross all of Fiore."

"That's what my father does essentially-"

"What? That makes no sense, there's tons of them they go all over Fiore, does he maintain them? Trade?"

"My father owns them."

Laxus stopped in his tracks. "Your dad is JUDE HEARTFILIA?"

Lucy winced. Here it goes...

Laxus stopped, he was blinking. What the actual fuck!?

"I'm literally wet with jealousy."

"How the hell- your dad probably wipes his ass in cash, why in gods name did you leave that?"

Context: Decided to not go with it, but still thought it was funny little blurb. I had a funnier idea for Laxus to find out who Lucy's father is in a later chapter I wrote that will be up hopefully in the next day or two. See you all next chapter!
