Warning: This chapter is going to cover things between her spring Break and leading into Jake's decision to take her cliff diving, her meeting up with Billy. And before heading for the cliff, as instead of heading home. As that fixes things between them and deepens the bond between her and the quartet and Emily.
As things switch directions and lead into when she goes cliff diving and Harry's heart attack, before the cliff diving. As she, Jacob and Sam head for the hospital and arrive in time to save Harry when in the next chapter now. As the first chapter is covered in the movie, but this story is an imprint story now.
That removes the rest of the storyline and gets Edward out of the picture from here on in. As Leah has her father and aunt training her, Bella is free of Edward and the adult pack is back to full strength again. As this takes the next 11 chapters out of the storyline and the rest of the series in a new direction finally.
Removing the Volturi from the storyline and the agreement that was created as Renesmee is never born and both packs remain as one. While Josh Uley, Quil's father and Beth Clearwater return and take charge. Removing the secondary threat from the storyline and she moves on with Jacob and the pack.
Chapter 1: The Pack Meeting And Joining A New Cub Pack
"So what happened to cause this exactly?" Paul asked and I sighed. "Would you guys just heed my wishes of no parties, as Jake got me that dream catcher. And it was unwrapped, dad did the same with my camera?" I asked and they nodded. "What about the prom, you know I don't like being stared at?" I asked and Jake nodded as Emily said it for him.
"Yeah we would, nothing big, a pizza party or a family bonfire so we can listen to Billy's teling us the legends, gifts that are left unwrapped and a cake. But we would never defy your wishes, your happiness is all that matters to us." she said and I nodded as the guys gave a nod to answer me and I explained it to them at that news as I hid a sigh of relief.
"Despite the fact I said no party or presents, he and his sister ignored my wishes and even Carlisle and Esme tried to rein her in, but she didn't listen. When I was opening up the ticket vouchers for a set of plane tickets, I got a paper cut. And one drop of blood caused his brother, who was a red eye turned gold eye to lose it then as a result."
"He knocked me behind him and then shoved him into the piano, but the blow was so hard, he just made it worse." I said and took my jacket off as I was wearing a tank top underneath my shirt then and exposed my upper arm to them and he nodded. "But that did it, in your words, if he just heeded my wishes, like you would we wouldn't, now."
"Be having this problem, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as they left and I trade supernatural characters here, I'm close. I'm almost there, but I'm starting to think now that one pack got replaced by another at the moment, and my energy is back. Everything I was, before he left, is back in place." I said and they nodded firmly to that.
"Back with me and Jake, your energy is back and you're acting like yourself again?" Embry said and Emily exchanged looks with Sam. "You don't think, like you, that your strength comes from pack, that she is just like you, the other leader to the pack?" she asked and I knew he felt his heart sinking and praying it wasn't true as he said it slowly.
"One pack replaced by another, you're acting normal again now that you're with us and..., oh god, hold on." Sam said as he checked one of the books on the legends and slammed his hand on the table. "That's what I was afraid of, your powers come from the family of the man, in either species, you're connected to, when he left 6 months ago."
"And took them with him, he drained you of your powers and your life force, putting you into a condition two steps away from full blown catatonia. Being around the duo, Quil, Seth and Leah all the time was helping you, you slept through the night, you ate. Your color was back and you were acting like yourself as a one month spiel with the duo here."
"And the guys phasing triggered a relapse, before you decided to confront us, Jake brings you to us, we bring you here and suddenly your strength comes back. And you're acting like I remember the day we met when you and the quintet dropped in that day. Your powers come from us, as the family of the man you're close to falling in love with, Jake."
"We're your strength, we give you your powers as the family of the man you love, if our parents and the council know this, it makes sense in why they're so pissed. And if Phil is also a werewolf that's why she wanted to bring you to Jacksonville. So you could bond to his pack and move forward and instead you created a pack with the guys and Leah now."
"Before you met me for real or we just got back together and we are healing you just by us redeveloping the bonds between us now. But I'm also your alpha and as your alpha, like me your powers come from the pack, if nothing that he's able to do penetrates it. Whatever else you got in your powers at the moment we can find out later as well."
"Well I'm not taking chances, you're staying with us until you're fully recovered, and even then you can stick around as long as you want to. But you maybe part of the pack as my partner in leadership at the moment so that helps even more here now." he said and Jake nodded as his eyes narowed in angered realization as he answered that.
"That's why Harry and dad, let alone Sue, are so pissed off at him right now, there's more going on then you know, this situation is bad. And keeps getting worse every minute, the council knows and possibly so does papa Quil, and if they do. They're going to roast him for this and the redhead with him for what he did to her right now."
"But look at what he did to you, I meant it, I know what he did to you, but Bella I would never do that, I won't ever hurt you. You can count on me, I always be there for you, I promise." he said and I smiled at him as he pressed his forehead to mine and I closed my eyes as felt my heart regain strength and latch on to his as he hugged me tightly then
Knowing Sam was relieved he and I were acting like we used to and with him, Embry, then as he went further softly. "The night at the movies was the game changer she was back, I just never realized it, but that was good for something at least. Sure I'm a wolf, but I'm your wolf, I belong to you now, we just continue taking things slow, you and me."
"But don't let him get between us, don't let them tear us apart, it's always been us, you and me ever since you snapped out of it. And we started spending this much time together, the character that caused me to phase was these two. But one has been destroyed and the other is one step away from it, but we can't let them tear us apart."
"With us back together and now that I know the real reason I hate him this much as the first was he barely destroyed you last year and you're only just started coming out of it. Wait a damn minute, the bikes, the suggestion on cliffdiving, climbing on the mountain, us going for hikes theough the woods, this all injects a certain level of adrenaline now."
"Into your system, oh you didn't you bastard, I find it in her system and you're getting torn to shreds, and I mean that." he said and Sam straightened up at that. "Sue said she was waking up screaming every night, before she snapped out of it, you don't think?" Emily said and Sam nodded in agreement as Jared and Paul exchanged furious looks.
"He did, but that is true and he's dead meat right now, we been draining it by all the extreme sports lately and that's helping at the moment, but to get back to it now. I'm not taking chances, but Embry was right, at the moment, we hate our powers. but at least they were good for something in protecting you at the moment and with that."
"I can get back in Charlie's good graces by us being like we used to be again, before Embry and I changed at the time. We already had an unspoken agreement to never to say his name, just using the pronoun, before our conversation. And Newton interrupted us at the movie theater, but I meant every word, you can count on me again, I promise."
"Rule 1) now with us, you never say his name aloud, we and our parents already think that's best and Sam, Embry and I know the most on her current emotional status." Jake said and the duo nodded in agreement firmly. "We have another hiccup in the next month and half and we're asking Sue and Carmichael to run a drug test, on her there."
"If our next attempt at training in the extreme sports gets blown when in the middle of another emergency here now." Embry said and they nodded. "By that you mean Cullen's first name like Mike said he was a freak, but this just down played it. And the rest of my thoughts on him, just shifted off his being a leech to the show version of Tommy here."
"By doing what he did to you, he's screwed in my eyes." Jared said, his blue eyes glinting with a sapphire glow and Embry nodded in agreement. "So the party is what caused him to leave, but then he says something, that when I see you right now. It's very clear he has us and every guy member in your school gang pissed at him right now in this case."
"He comes back and I'm not lettng him anywhere near you." Paul said with a firm growl and Embry nodded in agreement to his thought then. "Yeah I remember that and we all had our favorite rangers, yours was Kim herself, while mine was Jason, Bella. But looks like Jake is Tommy when you guys decided to give it a second chance now, right now."
"The letter just took on a whole new meaning for us at the moment." Sam said and Jared, Paul and Embry nodded to that remark firmly. "I dragged that up to Jared, with us back together we fall back on it again. But that pattern was now having her parents and Billy relieved now as our pattern of the last 2.5 months, before we phased now."
"Only this time we just added you guys to it, you and Emily, soon enough, if the entire pack goes active. The pattern is going to finish healing the damage to what he did to her now, but to answer your remark. Us, Quil, Seth and Leah at the moment, but he's right, Sam, we're making her worse by saying 'his' name, so 'his' name is never said, ever."
"She's able to talk about the sextet, but she's still having trouble saying his name right now, but I think once she does then she just moved on from him, for good." Embry said and he nodded. "Yeah that's what I think too, but if his leaving caused you to look like you're suffering a terminal disease is something we're still trying to figure out right now."
"Maybe the council can answer that, though that's true, then you just created a new life out of the broken remains of the old one. And with those words in right now guys." Emily said and they nodded. "Yeah, so we're falling back to your pattern of the previous three months again right now." Sam said and Jake and Embry smiled in relief at that remark.
"You been wondering why I call them by name, it's because I met them last spring at the time, let me guess. You been trying to figure out what she wanted, who she was after all this time?" I asked and they nodded. "Her husband was done by the Cullens themselves, but that lie he, Carlisle, gave mom about what put me in the hospital is not true."
"That was her mate, he barely missed killing me, and the quartet arrived in time to prevent it, but Guys, the real reason. That your hunt keeps coming back and trying to get passed is she wants me." I said and they nodded as we went over it. "Guys she tell you this?" Sam asked and they nodded as I explained everything they needed to know.
"You recall my ending up in the hospital last spring?" I asked and they nodded. "Your hunt of the last month since Jake and Embry started now. Are part of the trio that nearly killed me last year." I said and they nodded in shock. "Who killed her mate if she was mated exactly?" Jake asked and I nodded at him as he sighed and nodded firmly.
"He killed her husband and rather then going after him, she decided on an eye for an eye, though she obviously doesn't realize he broke up with you. That's in the histories dad told us about, well the idiot just left us a mess we got to clean up. But if they didn't come back by now and they're not going to by this point, they may out number us by 2."
"But so what, we been doing this for 450 years since Chief retired." he said and they nodded. "Taha Aki?" I said as the name flashed through my mind and they nodded. "Yeah, but how did you know?" Jared asked and I told him the truth as an image of us, Paul, Emily, Sam, Leah and the twins shot through me amd I quickly said it then to him.
"Do any of you got a picture of us at 5 to 14?" I asked and he nodded as Emily went to get her photo album and showed me a few pictures and I smiled. "There, that's me, we did know each other as cubs." I said as the next picture showed the eight of us. "Red bracelet, that's me, blue is Jared and the Philips clan was green, Renee, it has to be."
"Though she married into the Ateara clan, that's Quil at first, she decided to keep her real color, but the blood bond bracelets kept up, and Phil was born from the Dwyer clan and married into the Cameron clan, Anna." Sam said and I nodded. "Wait a damn minute here." he said and paged through several phots and smiled in delight then finally.
"Dad had a twin sister in the Uley clan, that was Sue herself, while mom, my parents both had a twin, but that was why there was green in my bracelet. I'm also a Philips, there's the blood bond between us." he told me and I nodded as he smiled. "Well that sums it up, our memories forgotten, we were close as cousins and every summer."
"For 14 years it's we saw you up here every year, you heard the stories like we did, you responded to my hug, me picking you up that night, because it was familiar to you. So familiar in fact, you acted like I was your big brother, me: you were my baby sister. And you and the duo were a trio, that is why his wolf started purring like that to you."
"He was happy you came back to him, so I think that response was your way of reminding him of the last time you guys lost your tempers at each other. Before I stepped in and you killed each other with the pillows right now." Sam said and I nodded as the guys and Emily started laughing at the conclusion to our spat a bit ago and they nodded.
"We're too much alike as it is, but before we became wolves, we were easy going, but not to over do it and the ticking time bomb in our wolves is waiting to go off here." Paul said and I nodded as I hugged his shoulders. "Just relieved we can be like we used to, my brother." I said smiling and he responded as he hugged my arms smiling at that remark.
"Yeah so what's the side effect, we lose it we turn into our wolves, so what's the side effect for you exactly?" Embry asked, before the pillow jumped off the couch in answer to that. "Ask a stupid question and you get a stupid answer." Jared said and Jake said it with a bemused smile at his remark and the reaction the pillow gave in response.
"You had to ask, but does that answer your question, Embry, somebody ticks her off and you're playing with fire here." he said and I nodded as I answered that remark, bemused. "So I lose it and it turns into a paranormal knife throwing contest, so get ready to duck what gets launched across the room if someone pisses me off later on here guys."
"I just started, like the duo and probably the trio." I said and they nodded as I went on. "I don't think you were the only ones actually, as looking at the four of you the day you chased down Laurent, the one you destroyed. I felt like I knew already, but with you driving my truck up here, I put him inside it." I said and gave Sam Smokey then.
"Smokey, that's what you named him huh, that's my color actually, but brown mixed in with my black fur." he said and looked at his eyes and nodded in shock. "Those are my eyes and this is my color tinge, but how did..." he started to say and saw the name tag and directly below it, he saw a set of initials and smiled as he got it as he said it then.
"S.U., yeah that's me alright, you guessed right, his panic at seeing me, I told him to get away from you right now. Or I was tearing him to shreds actually, so you don't care, you don't mind we get a bit furry when on duty?" Sam asked and I shook my head. "Like you, I think I activated at the same time Paul and Jared had, whatever reason for it now."
"I must be the female version to your rank as the second I told Jared, he was close, but one touch of my hand on his did it as he calmed down immediately." I said and they all nodded. "Honestly I feel safer around you, but they tried to protect me and I still get hurt, but you guys, if your fathers decide on this, then I'm safe here on the rez now."
"Though that's true, the memories we forgot are linked to why Billy was giving him the 'stay away from her' vibe when he arrived at my house and the warning to me. 'We'll be watching', that could have a double meaning to it, though that's true. Then you are not the first pack, since Ephraim retired." I said and they nodded as they exchanged looks.
Looking at his double, his eyes narrowed. "I see what you're saying and this has a second set of initials on him, not my grandfather either, but J.U., that's my dad." he said and I nodded in shock then. "That's what he was trying to tell me, you can protect me, because they possibly are you, before the car accident." I said and he nodded firmly to me then.
"You get your ranks taken in reverse here, Sam?" I asked and he and Jake nodded. "Let me see that again." I said and Sam gave his double back to me and I saw the 'B' and nodded. "Military phonetic coding: alpha, beta, Charlie, delta, echo, so going on a guess, the first two are your ranks, but corresponding to your positions in the pack here."
"Like it is now, alpha, beta, charlie that's third in command, delta: secondary beta and echo is the fifth member of the pack. So alpha's third, secondary beta and alpha's fifth, you're missing a couple members to the pack here. But my rank, I must be the female position to your rank, Sam." I said and they nodded in amazement to the translation.
"Well if you understand this we can do it more easily, but you're right, you're safer here then just waiting around for her to attack and better knowing and scared. Then unsuspecting and getting jumped, because you didn't know she was back right now. Alright after breakfast we need to talk to dad." Jake said and they nodded in agreement.
As we ended the conversation. "Hey Emily, need a hand?" I asked and she smiled. "Sure thank you." she said and I nodded as I joined her in the kitchen and she and I got to work on breakfast as I started thinking that was my secondary job. "Catch case issue and you guys are going to love her cooking at the moment, Embry and I were there alot."
"But dad and spent several nights a week at her house, before I started." Jake said smiling and the trio nodded, but I knew if there was 3 more members. Then we girls became a trio as we talked things over and things between the trio would change. And heal now, as I looked at my big brother cousin with a smile, the bond deepening.
And every minute as I realized that my role as the female alpha was I controlled their tempers, and my orders just as much as his did. As the trio were standing next to me and Jake always at my side and I hid a nod as I knew it then. As I was returning back to full strength at the time as we exchanged conversations and family details then.
But it felt good to be with them as the six of us and Emily headed for the lodge then and we found the entire council there. "Guys we just figured it out, was that warning you told me, did it have a double meaning to it?" I asked and they sighed in relief. "I was just waiting for that to happen, Jake unlocked the right door in your memories right now."
"But like the boys, Leah and Emily, you were up here every summer listening to the histories your first week back from 5 till you hit 14." Amy Call said and Sue nodded in agreement. "So I knew about the tribe all along?" I asked and they nodded. "Yeah it is baby girl, but that was what I really meant, he doesn't remember, right now in this case."
"But you are part of the tribe, but your position is the omega, you are the female version to the alpha and secondly. And even more important is that when the alpha imprints on his omega then she becomes the alpha's mate. Jake is the rightful alpha, but your powers come from the family of the man you're in love with, in either species."
"You just cracked it, you remember now baby?" Billy asked and I nodded as I looked at Sharon Philips/Uley and Anna/Dwyer Cameron and smiled. "Hey Aunt Sharon, Aunt Anna, good to see you guys again." I said and they smiled in delight at the title. "You too baby, it's great to see you again." Sharon said as she hugged me and I tightened my arms.
"I'm close, I'm almost there, but if he never came before now, then he's never coming back at all, and the sextet with him. But here's the reason for why they left at the time last year, the laceration probably hit the vein, but Aunt Sue." I said and showed them my upper arm and Sue nodded and quickly checked and her eyes narrowed in anger.

"And causing Jasper to lash out, Carlisle and Emmett grabbed him and they got him outside, but that was did it finally. Sam was ticked enough when I told him this, but his brother never bothered to go hunting before the party that night. And despite the fact I said no parties, and you guys complied with that, leaving yours unwrapped as well."
"If we got together, it was for a family barbecue at the time now, every year." I said and the council nodded in agreement. "But think about it, with us in this decade and the last and our favorite preteen tv show was the power rangers. What was I supposed to think when he said 'I'm not good for him'?" I asked him and he nodded angrily to that news.
"You're my youngest daughter baby, but that crossed the line right now, he's lucky he left or I'd kill him myself for breaking your heart." he said and Billy nodded in agreement. "Issues of the father or father figure, you mess with their daughters and you're ending up dead, but his choices have done more pain to you then the trio have at the moment."
"Dad was right, you are my family, and this is hurting our family, but Leah I understand, that was different, for me, it's even worse in your eyes. I'm not the same girl I was a year ago, thanks to his choices and how long could I wait till I let him go." I asked and the duo and Sue nodded in agreement as she, Anna and Sharon exchanged furious looks.
"You just said our exact thoughts, princess, you're right on every count, sure Carlisle was a friend of your father's, but his son was hurting our family. He practically destroyed you in our eyes, you're not the same girl we remember as a cub. My daughter is one thing that was the imprint, you, it's far more dangerous." Harry said and Sue nodded firmly.
"'Not good for him, or more accurately, not good enough for him, the bastard is completely clueless, Billy, but his ways are ancient. Your parents, the council and I were all born in the 60's, but you never say this to a teenage girl. And one who is possibly got more going on then they think here now." Claire Lehote said sharply to that news then.
"So I was right, her powers come from the family of the man she loves, by taking off and taking the sextet with him. They drained her until she was two steps away from full blown catatonia?" Sam asked and she nodded. "Yeah and the Philips clan, on the female side of it were the omegas to our families in the male side for four generations, as such."
"By saying that and by leaving and taking the sextet with him, he just sucked the energy right out of your body, this was why we were worried out of our minds. I was trying to protect you, baby, but your place is wolf, not vampire, we don't want to lose you." Billy said and I nodded as I hugged him and he tightened his arms around me then.
"Switching off that first Jetson's Tiffany song, but Jake is doing the second, but he never comes back, I'm happy, because I got Jake now. But he's right, he could make me happy and he has, but still your little girl, always." I said and he and Harry and Sue smiled in delight at that remark as I looked between my family pack then gently at that remark.
"But we found another set of initials on Smokey, and they spell out Uncle Josh's name, so are the rest of you my toy pack?" I asked, looking from him, to Harry and to the quintet and they nodded to me. "We are, but does this ring a bell?" he asked and I heard voice enter my thoughts in the same tenor I heard in Sam's voice that day then.
'Guys as cubs, she sees an attack like this and she'll be traumatized for like, just show the stern wolf act, during the hunt and get the perp into the trees. They don't need to see this, her especially, she needs to know we can protect her. By being her parental pack, we're safe, but the leeches are not, we have to."
'Be like over sized Siberian huskies in her eyes now, that we're safe, we can protect her, she's safe with us.' I heard and my eyes shot open then as I looked at him. "Red, you're Red?!" I asked and he nodded smiling. "I am, just look at your toy pack again baby, but you guys are us as cubs." he said and I nodded as I decided to do that.
"We needed you to remember that, but we retired when Seth was 7, right after the car accident that killed Sarah, for him, Harry retired because of his heart. But that was why Josh left and with him, Eric, Cocoa needed to deal with Sarah's loss on his own terms. And like you, son, your father had a tough time separating Shadow from himself."
"As for Beth, she said if the trouble started she was ready to activate at a moment's notice, but hearing our hunt is targeting you. And that will be enough to piss her off right now, but us adult wolves have such a control of our tempers, nothing phases us. The only way we can activate again is by us losing our tempers in an uncontrolled rage."
"And by that I mean murderous, seeing red, uncontrolled rage at the moment, but hearing what he pulled, that our hunt targeted you and nearly killed you twice. And she is going to kill him if they ever come back and with him the redhead at the moment. That we're dealing with, but his claim that was an accident, we never bought that lie now."
"We knew what happened and this was why he was trying to keep us out of it, the fact he exposed you to the more lethal side of the legends. We were ready to expose ourselves to you and Charlie as we moved you from Forks and onto to the reservation. Until it was safe to return as there is a cabin the size of your house here on the rez, but your pack."
"You gave your toy pack a younger version to our aliases as wolves, but of ten, the only girl wolf in the pack are the Clearwaters. But we're praying the trio doesn't start next right now with what the heck is going on around here lately. But you had it right, your mother, Tom, Daniel and I were praying you, Jared and Paul never started last year."
"And when our hunt arrived, all three of you activated at once at the time." Billy told me and we nodded as I stood between Jared and Paul then. "Well that answers every question we need to know, so what now if he does come back and the sextet with him?" Embry asked and I sighed as I told him the truth at that remark and Billy nodded.
"It never made sense for him to love me, star crossed lovers and such, I got the heart of a wolf, but he's a lion and I'm a wolf. You're natural enemies, so the lion fell in love with them, no, just a wolf in sheep's clothing, literally, human wolf, I'm an omega. But trust now, how can I believe anything he says when he comes back, how can I exactly."
"How can I trust him not to lie again, if she comes back and the guys are in the woods, and he gets me out of town on false pretense. I change I can never come back, I just got you, my family back, I'm very close to moving on here. But the family comes first over the ex love interest, but..., dad, what if he exposes dad to her and in the process."
"That nearly gets one of you killed with the fact you're retired at the moment, you especially you, Uncle Harry, you're close to suffering cardiac arrest. And because of these repeated shocks, but he does come back and you remind him of the treaty. The bastard gets one of you killed or nearly causes it and it really is over right now, but he's too late."
"It's too late, I belong to you now, I can be the omega for both packs if mom is waiting to get recalled again." I said and he nodded as Harry pulled me into a hug and I buried my head into his shoulder then. "Every time he puts you guys at risk, I'm sick of this, you are endanger, because he wants to do it himself, but no, I am not losing you."
"I love you, I choose you, being a human wolf now." I said into his ear and he nodded as he rubbed my back then. "You're this close to being free of him, don't let him take you away, we can do much more then he can. Besides you prefer things the way they are, you need balance without all the moving around." he said, looking into my eyes then.
"I remember, I remember, your wolf names: Goldie, Shadow, Red, Storm, Brown, Patch, Copper, Cocoa, Sunny and Orangie. I gave your toy doubles another younger version to those names, but those are good aliases for my pack." I said and they smiled at that. "Aside from me, but I look like a slowly forming hurricane in wolf demeanors here."
"Beyond easy going until something ticks me off right now." Embry said and Amy started laughing at that. "Yeah alright, but with the four of five in our pack are having the same name as their fathers, we got two juniors involved here, but Reddy, Brownie, Smokey, Cocoa, Little Orangie, and Sandy should work." I said and the quintet nodded to that.
"No wonder right now, if dad was me as an adult in wolf form here, then I'd like to know what we would look like in 20 years exactly." Paul said and that's when it hit me. "Oh god, that's the part I completely forgot Paul, but your father looks like you in darker blackish gray to your current color right now." I said and they nodded to the news then.
