Lucy's apartment heater had broke, and it was the middle of winter, in the middle of the night. She shivered underneath a hoodie and layers of blankets, which could not keep her warm. "S-stupid heater, b-breaking at t-the worst t-time." She muttered to herself, trying to keep warm.
A few minutes later, a certain pink-haired dragon slayer broke in through her window, almost stepping on Lucy's shivering body, which was facing in towards her room. She didn't want, or need, to turn around to check who had just broken in. Her teeth chattered as she spoke, "N-Natsu? W-what are you d-doing here? It's late."
"Couldn't sleep so I came here," said Natsu, "What's wrong? Are you okay?" He noticed her shivering.
"I'm j-just cold. Heater broke." She replied, snuggling closer to her blankets, trying to keep warm.
"That's it?" He chuckled softly, not completely understanding how harsh the elements could be to a normal person. "Here, I'll warm you up," She hummed in approval, still shivering.
Natsu lifted up her blanket and got underneath with her. She gasped at the cold air, then immediately sighed as Natsu's got under her covers with her, his body heat already helping. "God, you really are freezing." He murmured, grabbing her waist and scooting closer to her.
She was soothed by his warm chest on her back, already starting to feel a lot better, although she was still shivering a little. "Thanks, Natsu." She cuddled back towards him, scooting as close as she possibly could.
His arms felt strong and warm wrapped around her waist.
After a few moments of Lucy calming down from the cold, and Natsu holding her close, he moved his hands to the hem of her light pink, thick hoodie.
"Uh, Natsu?" She spoke, warily. She trusted him, but it seemed like he was about to take off her hoodie, in which she had only a bra underneath.
He shushed her softly. "You're still cold right?" She nodded. "Well, I can't warm you up all the way with this thick clothing."
She grumbled in reply, "Fine, but only because I'm still pretty damn cold. No getting touchy-feely, though," she spoke with as much authority as she could muster.
Natsu chuckled, lifting her up just enough so he could pull her hoodie off. She laid back down quickly, and he followed suit. She covered her breasts, even though she knew Natsu couldn't see them from where he was. Plus, it was dark.
Her heart was beating fast - she was practically half-naked with the guy she knew she loved. And now with no shirt or anything other than a bra, she felt his bare chest on her back, which was incredibly warm.
Natsu's hands stayed put for a few minutes, sitting around her waist again, holding her tight. But, he got restless with staying still, and his hands began to gently rub her stomach, which no longer felt freezing cold. Lucy sighed in content, his movements calming her down. She moved her hands from her chest to lay comfortably on the bed.
Natsu's other hand moved to her arm and stroked it from her shoulder down to her left hand. His fingers traced on her hand, drawing small circles. He didn't want to make her upset by touching her, but he was curious, and her skin was so soft and irresistible.
"Mm, Natsu?" She spoke, tiredly.
"Just warming you up." He grinned, although she couldn't see.
She trusted him, so she hummed in approval. His face nuzzled into her neck as he inhaled her alluring vanilla smell. His hand, which had previously been on hers, moved down by her thigh, rubbing it. For someone who had been seemingly so cold, she was only wearing shorts.
"Do you even own a pair of pants?" Natsu chuckled.
"Mm, yes, but I couldn't find them..." She mumbled. "I was too cold to look for them any longer. But... now I'm a lot warmer," She blushed, "Thanks, Natsu."
Lucy flipped around to face him, disrupting his touches, looking into his deep, onyx eyes, which kept glancing down to her very exposed chest. Her slender hand came up and softly grabbed his face, steadying it so he would only look at her face. "You always take care of me," A slight blush crept onto her cheeks. "I appreciate it,"
"Silly Lucy, I care about you." He leaned in a little closer, "I would do anything to protect you."
Her cheeks tinted pink as she smiled. "I would, too." She whispered.
He just grinned at her, "We'll always be together, Luce."
A/N: I know this is short, sorry! I didn't really know how to end it, but I kinda like it like this, it's a cute little fluff. Let me know what you think! :)
