"Hermione, come on! We can't be late!" Ginny yelled up the stairs. Hermione rushed downstairs, attaching a dangly earring to her earlobe.
"We have to make a good first impression." She explained.
"Well, being late isn't that good of an impression either!" Ginny fought back.
"Are you girls ready?!" Mrs. Weasley yelled from the front doors. Her loud voice made all of the men cower in fear.
"Yes, we're coming!" Ginny yelled back, her and Hermione running to the front doors. They all got in the car. (They couldn't use magical transport.)
Hermione got into the drivers seat as she was the only one with a muggle driving license. After about an hour, they reached Privet Drive.
Ginny walked up to the front door and knocked. Soon, Petunia opened the door, smiling fakely.
"Please, come in." She said.
"Ginny, who are these women?" Petunia asked the red head.
"This is my mother, Molly Weasley, and this is my best friend Hermione Granger." Ginny responded.
Petunia lead them to the living room where they all took seats.
"Dudley is upstairs packing, he must be finished soon," Petunia explained.
Not too long afterwards, Dudley came running down the stairs yelling.
"MUM!! HAVE YOU SEEN MY BROWN JUMPER??" Dudley yelled from the stairs so she would hear him.
"Please excuse him." Petunia said quietly to her guests before going over to where Dudley was.
"We have guests in the living room!" They could hear Petunia whisper-shouting at Dudley.
Hermione and Ginny gave each other a look before the skinny woman came back into the room.
"I apologize." She said before sitting down again.
"Its no issue." Ginny said.
Finally, Hermione spoke up.
"Will your husband be joining us?" She said conversationally.
"Yes, he is upstairs at the moment getting ready."
Finally after what seemed like forever, a very clearly irritated Vernon came wobbling down the stairs.
"DUDLEY!!" He yelled up the stairs, making all of the women jump.
The two boys were downstairs with suitcases and bags.
"Ready?" Ginny asked and the Dursleys nodded. Ginny noticed that Dudley was staring at her for longer then necessary. She shrugged it off, a bit uncomfortable.
They squeezed into the car. The witches couldn't use magic to make the car bigger, since the Dursleys hate magic.
Ginny was squeezed in the back in between Dudley and Vernon. Mrs. Weasley, Petunia, and Hermione were in the front.
After about an hour, Ginny stumbled out of the car. Dudley and Vernon got out after her, the women following.
The dursleys looked shocked at the odd shape of the house. They walked inside the doors. No one was downstairs.
"Gin?" A voice called from the stairs. Harry walked into the main hallway where the entourage was standing.
"Hello. Nice to see you again." He said nicely to the Dursleys, shaking each of their hands. He hugged Hermione and Mrs. Weasley.
"Hello darling." He said to Ginny, grinning and hugging her as well. Ginny pulled away and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.
"Where are my brothers?" Ginny asked.
"Well Fred and George are upstairs, testing out projects for their joke shop. Percy is doing some work, Ron is playing wizards chess with Bill while Charlie is watching. At least, that's what I know." He said as they all sat down in the sitting room.
(Hermione and Molly went upstairs into their rooms. It was late, plus they wanted to give Harry and the Dursleys a bit of privacy to catch up.)
Vernon and Petunias mouths dropped at the number of brothers Ginny has.
After a bit of conversation, Ginny asked the Dursleys what their jobs are.
"Well, I work at a car dealership, Petunia is a housewife, and Dudley works at an ice cream shop." Vernon explained.
"What do you do?" Dudley asked.
"Well I'm an Auror, so that means I catch dark wizards. It's sort of like a police officer." Harry said.
"And I am a Quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies. Quidditch is a famous wizard sport." Ginny said.
"Wait, you are a sports player?" Vernon scrunched up his nose.
"Yes, why?" Ginny said.
"But you're a woman.."
Ginny's eyebrows raised.
"I am very well aware of that.." She said.
"Yeah, it's one of the main reasons why I dated her." Harry joked.
"All im saying is, isnt a sports player a bit of a... dangerous sport for a girl?" Vernon said and Petunia hit him in the arm. Dudley sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Oh boy, Its getting late. Can you please show us to our rooms?" Dudley asked.
"Gladly." Harry responded, standing up. Ginny, Vernon, and Petunia stood up as well.
Harry led them upstairs. They stopped on the top floor and Harry opened the door to a small, dusty guest room with only one bed.
"I can make it bigger and cleaner, but that requires magic." Harry said, crossing his arms.
"That's fine. Just make it nicer." Vernon said, wrinkling his forehead.
With a swish and a flick, Harry made the room 3 times bigger, which shocked the Dursleys.
"I'm not done yet." Harry said, noticing the shocked expressions. He multipled the number of beds until there were three. He vanished all the dust, added some white wallpaper to cover the grimy walls. He added three wardrobes and a desk in tne corner of the room.
"Better?" He asked. The dursleys were still in awe by the fact that he did a whole room makeover in just 30 seconds.
The Dursleys laid down in their beds and Harry and Ginny walked back to their own room.
"I finally understand why you don't like the Dursleys." She said as they entered the room. She started changing into her pajamas and Harry did the same.
"Oh, this is nothing compared to how they treated me." Harry said as he pulled his pajama shirt over his torso.
They crawled into bed and Harry wrapped an arm around her, pulling her closer so they were spooning.
He can't believe that in three weeks he will be married to the love of his life...
