At lunch Mary and Dahlia of course ate together. They were best friends and had each other's back.

On the bus...

"How was your guy's day?" Cory asked Mary and Dahlia.

"It was pretty good." Dahlia lied. Mary just nodded in agreement. Soon the bus got home and the kids got dropped off.

"See you tomorrow!" Dahlia said to Mary.

"Bye!" Mary went inside. Then the Carson kids did too.

"So much homework!" Margot grunted.

"I can help with if you want." Jason offered.

"Yes please." Margot said. Dahlia raised an eyebrow, wondering what that was about.

"How was school?" Julie asked.

"It was great!" Cory exclaimed.

"Yep!" Jeff said. He was in middle school.

"Dahlia, how's high school?" Julie asked.

"It's good." Dahlia responded.

"And how's middle school, Margot?" Julie asked Margot.

"It's okay. The lockers are hard, and the kids try to be cool." Margot said. Then Jason and her walked upstairs to do homework.

A few days later Dahlia was walking to her next class, then she bumped into a girl with long raven hair, a red crop top, short shorts, and heels. "Watch where your going, loser!" She scoffed and walked away. Then three girls helped Dahlia up.

"Are you okay?" One asked, she had brown hair tied into pigtails.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Dahlia answered. "Who was that, by the way?"

"That was Heather. She thinks she's the queen of the school." Another girl asked, she had short blonde hair and was wearing makeup.

"What's your name?" The brown haired girl asked.

"I'm Dahlia." Dahlia answered.

"I'm Nikki." The brown haired girl replied.

"I'm Angelica!" The girl with the short blonde hair said.

"And I'm Bridgette." A girl with long blonde hair in a ponytail said.

"We better get to class." Nikki said.

"Yeah. See you around!" Bridgette waved. Then the girls left. Dahlia also walked to her class.
