Since Haku and Chihiro, are mostly in their human forms, any pregnancy potrayed in this story will be closer to a human pregnancy, versus Dragon.

Chihiro's prov:

"Chihiro."

Haku's voice sounded just like I remembered, the softer sound of his voice anyways. "Haku…" I barely managed out. "What…" he started, but I cut him off. "Let me talk…" I interjected, which got a nod. "My parents died, 2 years after my return. I grew up in an orphanage, since I wasn't adoptable, cause I was 'crazy.' that's how they put it. The older kids beat me, and forced me to do it with them. The staff didn't do a thing… so I just up and left… I had no place else to go, so Icame here… To the place where I last felt at home…" I did it. I couldn't believe I actually did it. I was watching Haku's face. "I'm going to make them regret it!" he mumbled under his breath, before coming right over to me, but as he got closer, he slowed his pace, probably not wanting to trigger some ptsd. I didn't even have to tell him how bad it got with everyone else. The second Haku was at arms length, I just pushed myself into his arms. In that moment, it seemed like nothing else mattered, His arms snaked around my waist.

"Shh. Chihiro, I've got you… Don't be afraid." He whispered, as I finally let the tears and sobs escape. "Shh. It's okay. Let the tears flow." He soothed, rubbing my back. It seemed like maybe a full 30 minutes, before the tears and sobs stopped coming. "I'm sorry…" I whispered, as I tried to remove myself from Haku's arms, despite them offering me a safe hold. 'Wow. Haku and Lin are the only two I felt utterly comfortable with.' Kamaji had always been like a grandfather to me, so in a way, I've always felt comfortable with him.

Haku's grip remained strong. "Don't apologize, Chihiro. It's Okay. You don't have to be afraid. I won't let anyone hurt ever again." I laid my head on his chest, once more. "this is okay right? It's not gonna trigger anything?" Haku whispered. "No… You're the first guy I've felt comfortable with ever since. Kamaji was easier, cause he is much more like a grandfather. Are you Okay? I mean me being this close?" I asked, my eyes moving to look up to him. "I'm Okay for now. But Lin'll be back soon, and will tend to your injuries, while I go do some work… It may be painful though…" I said "How painful?"

Haku sighed, contemplating on how to answer it, but finally said "I don't know the extent of the injuries… But Lin might have to use moon oil, it's something we use, only when absolutely needed. It's very painful…" I said "I don't want you to be away from me… Please Haku…" I could tell, even though I was controlling it, my fear was evident, and it broke him. "Chihiro, I swear, When you wake up, the first face you see, will be mine, but I'll have to leave you with Lin for a bit, just for a little while…"

Haku's Prov

Lin came back in, and I said "Do it in my room… I'll stay with her, the second your done…" I loosened my grip around her, as she stood. "Just take care of her… I've gotta get some things, I'll be back in 30 minutes. Chihiro?" She turned to me. "Stay strong. We can talk more when you wake." She smiled small, before I left.

Chihiro picked the perfect time to show up… Even though most of the time I was in human form, this time always made it more difficult. Mating season. I've known for a very long time, that I loved Chihiro, She's my world, and it's killing me, to know she's endured hell. I went to the study and grabbed a couple books, before I went back towards the room, but before I even entered, I could hear clear as day Chihiro's screams of terror. "Lin! Let Me in!" I begged. Hearing my voice, Chihiro's screams got louder and was my name. I opened the door, and went into the room before Lin even said. I dropped beside Chihiro's head. "Ssh. I'm here. I'm here." I said stroking her hair. "I'm here." I whispered. I didn't even look further then my love's beautiful eyes, her fear and panicked full of pain eyes. "Lin How much longer?" I asked, as I stroked Chihiro's hair. "An hour… Then it's 12 more for sleeping, while the healing works…" I groaned. Another hour of listening to my angel screams of pain. "It's gonna get worse… I don't think you'd want to hear it…" Lin said, as she continued to work, despite Chihiro's louder screams. "I'm here. I'm Here." I kept saying, as I stroked her hair more, in an effort to calm herself and I. The hour seemed endless. "There Done." Lin said, finally. Chihiro, moved her head, and sat in on my lap. "Thank you Lin…" We said together, as Lin smiled.

While Chihiro was healing I learned something about a lost spirit. I wrote a letter to the father, and had Lin sent it out, as well as ordered dinner, since Chihiro would be up any minute now. "Haku?" I heard her small voice, as I sat beside her again. "Hey. How are you feeling? You look much better." Chihiro said "I'm Much better…" I said "Good. I wrote a friend to come visit… I did some research." Chihiro said "Haku… Wait… I wanna stay here… I feel so complete here in the spirit world." I said "I know why… Or I suspect. Just relax. And I insist you stay in here with me." She said "Thank you… I do feel calmer and better with you… for some reason…" I said "Relax now. Dinner's already on its way." During dinner, I told Chihiro my thoughts on her being the lost spirit, and that my friend might be her father. She was shocked, to say it nicely, but I could tell she was excited. "Umm Haku… Can I confess something?" She asked, nervously, as I picked up the plates. "You can tell me anything, Chihiro." I said, as I sat beside her.

"I love you. I always have." She said, looking me in the eye. My heart swelled. She loved me. "I love you too Chihiro. So much." I kissed her head. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna do the dishes." I quickly did the dishes, before heading back towards the bedroom. "Dragon!" Lin's voice said. "You shouldn't be too close to her…" She whispered. "I can't leave her now Lin…" I said as I sat beside Chihiro. "Haku, What were you and Lin talking about?" I looked to her, before saying "She's just looking out for you… I'm in mating season… It's hard for me right now… But I don't care… I need to be here for you… I feel very protective of you." She said "If you need some space…" I said "It's Okay… But If I am not right beside you, I'll most likely at my desk. But It'll be only if it gets too much." She nodded, laying on the bed. "Will you lay with me?" She asked. I laid beside her, as I wrapped my arm around her, as she curled up into my side. We talked for a few more hours, before she yawned. "Sleep Love. I'll fight the nightmares." I promised, as she dozed off.

I smiled, soft as Lin came in. "How is she?" She asked. "Sleeping again." I replied, stroking Chihiro's hair gently. "How are you, with her being so close?" Lin asked, concerned. "Honestly? I'm very uncomfortable… But Right now I'm fighting my instincts, to take her. She needs me here…" I said, as I continued stroking my love's hair. "It's uncomfortable, But it's soothing. It's soothing because, I can see her, hold her, and protect her… Uncomfortable because of the season…" Lin said "I know… I'm worried for both of you… I heard from Apalala He said he'll come tonight, to meet her." I said "Thank you Lin… For Everything." Lin smiled and said "Absolutely, Haku. Chihiro is like my sister… I love her, and as awkward as it seems, I care about you too, as a brother." I smiled and said "I Care about you too Lin. I promise, we'll come to you for any problems, or for when we need help." Lin said "Good." Lin stayed with us all night, even after I fell asleep.

In the Morning Chihiro's Prov:

I woke up in Haku's arms. "Morning, My love." His sleep filled voice came. "sleep well?" He said, as I sat up. "I slept better then I have in a very long time." I looked to Haku, as I said "Thanks to you." He said "So, You remember my friend? The one who I wrote to come meet you?" I nodded, as he said "He's coming here today." I said "Okay… I'm kind of nervous…" Haku smiled sympathetically. "I'll be right here, Or in a near by room." I smiled, small. That did make me feel better. "I love you." I said, as he got up. "I love you too. I'm gonna go get our breakfast, Okay? I'll be back soon…" He said kissing my head once before leaving.

I got dressed, as Haku returned. "Breakfast is served." He said, setting up the breakfast. "Haku… It's getting worse… Isn't it?" I asked. He said "Don't worry, Chihiro, love." We ate in silence, Shortly after we did the dishes, we had a visitor. "Apalala." Haku greeted. " Kohaku Nushi…" The man replied. "Apalala. I believe I have found your daughter…" I heard Haku say. Apalala looked to me and said "At last. I'm sorry, I'm Apalala." I smiled, as I said "Chihiro." Apalala and I caught up, mostly about my human world life, but I got uncomfortable, and glanced over my shoulder, right as I felt Haku's hands on my shoulder. "I'm sorry… I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable…" Apalala replied. I said "No, Don't be. I just… I just don't like to talk about what happened these past few months." Apalala said "Must've been pretty bad." I nodded, as he said "Well tomorrow you guys come to my home, and we'll go through the process, of changing. Giving you your dragon spirit, and removing the human one." I felt Haku's arms wrap around me protectively. "What time should we be there?" Haku asked. Apalala said "Noon. You will be there for 3 days, cause after you will train." I said "Ok…" Haku said "Don't worry. I'll help you." I smiled as Apalala said "Kohaku Nushi, I would like to know exactly what you are to my daughter." I looked to Haku, as he said "Well, I'd say we're dating. I love her more than anything. More than my own life, and I'll do anything to protect her from now on." The second he spoke, I smiled wider. "And I love him. More than anything." Apalala said "Good. Not only do I get my daughter, back I gain a son in law too." I coughed once. "Son in law?! We're not getting married yet!" Haku chuckled and said "Thank you sir, and of course not, my love, not until we're ready." I relaxed under Haku's confidence. Apalala left, leaving me alone with Haku.

"Son in law… Huh… I could get used to that." Haku said giving me a wink. "I do want to marry you Chihiro. Even if its a decade from now." I smiled, and said "I do want to marry you too Haku… But…" I sighed. Haku put a hand on my cheek. "What is love?" He asked. "But… My past… It's haunting me… I'm such a whore… No one should want me… I… I just don't want you to regret anything…" Haku gently caressed my cheek, as I felt tears flow from my eyes. "I'm sorry… I don't know why I'm crying…" Haku frowned, before saying "Chihiro, I love you, so much, Yeah I know your past, but I don't care. You're not a whore. You're my Chihiro. My Love. My Life. Okay? I'd rather die then let you get hurt. I know that I will never want anyone the way I want you." He kissed my head, and said "And don't apologize for crying. You've been through Hell the past, 5 years, It's okay. I promise. You never have to be afraid to come to me with whatever your feeling. I'll never be to busy for you. I promise."
