Naruto walked the streets in a daze as he looked at the scenes from old times, the people and the shops. He didn't know what to feel as he still felt regret.

Naruto thought he might still be completely ruled by fear and follow the same route towards distraction. As he was lost in thought Naruto was stopped by someone grabbing his hand.

"Naruto, did you get into a fight again."

Naruto turned around and looked at the girl who he had not seen in decades, the girl who was his one and only girl friend.

Tayuya Hirano, a childhood friend that lived close to his house, the girl that confessed to him just last week.

'Ah, I had completely forgotten about this.' Naruto was completely dazed and lost as he looked at the girl who was killed in the future along with her brother by one of the worst gangs in the world

"Yeah, I showed them who is boss."

Tayuya placed her hand on his face and looked him in the eyes, "Naruto you don't have to lie to me. I will never think less of you so please do not get hurt."

Naruto felt tears drop from his eyes as he felt the warmth from that gaze filled with love. He couldn't help but embrace Tayuya with force as it had been so long that he felt such strong emotions.

"I am sorry. I am sorry. I am sorry." Naruto repeated those words as they spilled out from his mouth along with regrets of the past coming to the forefront

Tayuya didn't understand the situation but hugged him back and patted his back, "Everything will be okay. You are the hero that will make things good."

Naruto took a moment to get it out of the system and couldn't look up after embarrassing himself in front of a girl and child.

"Thanks, I will be going now. See you tomorrow."

"Naruto, don't forget our date tomorrow." Tayuya said as she held his hand

Naruto nodded and his hand slipped through hers. She watched as he walked away, feeling that something was different about him.

Naruto finally arrived at his house, which was one of the biggest in the city. It was a property with a large garden and play ground along with guard facility.

It was a 2 km walk from the main gate to the mansion in the center and Naruto used the cars at the gate to travel inside as he had left his bike home for the day.

"Welcome back, Young Master."

Naruto didn't look up as he steeled his emotions, he had taken these things for granted and lost them so he didn't how to feel as he got back to a life of riches.

'But this will all be taken by those bastards. I will never allow it to happen. Father, your son shall not fail again.' Naruto clenched his fist as he stared outside the window of the car as it drove slowly to the mansion

He remembered that a noble had tricked him into destroying his own household. Olley Wang, the nightmare that carried out through high school, was just a lackey to that bastard.

'What should I do to overcome my fears?' Naruto questioned as he had never done it in his past life, he stood outside the gate and slowly started walking

Naruto didn't know what he would feel after seeing his parents that had been died from the shock and stress of the entire world coming down on them.

'They won't be back yet so I should talk to Hayate while I have time.' Naruto thought as he gave his bag to the servants and walked towards the training room

"Hayate, I need your help."

Hayate Gekko was a chuunin rank ninja with specialization in swords. He was hired by Jun Hayasaki, the owner of the Hayasaki Co, a businessman that owned large farms along with textile and leather factories.

The owner was quite rich and Hayate accepted the mission to be deployed to Yang City as Jun Hayasaki's Bodyguard along with his girlfriend for a three year period.

Hayate was reading a book on business as he was quite interested in building his future beyond just fighting for money and this was the best opportunity.

"Yes! How can I help you, young master?" Hayate closed the book and looked towards Naruto, a boy with a slim build and some muscles

He had black hair and green eyes, which were similar to his parents but the boy, had dyed his head blonde as he started acting like a delinquent.

'I don't why the master is so soft on this little bastard. If he was my son, I would show him what happens when he wastes resources on being a retard.' Hayate had stayed with the family for five months and had lost all respect for Naruto as the boy was lazy and arrogant

He started one thing and dropped it without completing it, Wishy washy to the extreme and no persistence or patience.

"I want to learn to fight properly. I want to get stronger." Naruto replied and his words shocked the man as he looked at Naruto carefully

'Kai' Hayate muttered under his breath as he expelled some chakra into the area to cancel out any illusion

'This is real. What just happened? He seems so different.'

"Are you sure? It will be difficult and painful."

"I don't mind; just make me strong enough to stand up to my enemies without cowering in fear." Naruto looked at him with determination blazing in his eyes

Hayate smiled, "Wonderful, Master will be pleased to see you change. Please follow me but first do I have permission to act as I please for the training period."

Naruto halted in his steps as doubts and excuses popped up inside his mind, he quickly shook his head and replied, "I give you permission, force me to follow even when I cry out in pain."

"Splendid then let us change into the proper uniform" Hayate said as he clapped his hands, the training of Naruto would be limited and he had to be careful as normal people couldn't heal using chakra

Naruto was from a normal family and had never activated his chakra so Hayate was training to be like the top fighters of the mortal fighters association.

It had already slipped Naruto's mind that he could activate chakra as he didn't have it long and that period of time was filled with despair since his parents died in that year.

The world changed on the day of the Kyuubi rampage, the beast was sealed inside Naruto and his parents died.

Jiraiya arrived too late but took action with haste as he took Naruto and removed any traces from his physical features. He changed the hair to black and eyes to green while removing the marks on the face.

Jiraiya rushed towards the Capital and found Jun Hayasaki's wife giving birth. They had similar features to Naruto so he quickly switched Naruto with their baby boy and left with the kid but not before making sure they named him Naruto as that was the last sign of his parents.

Jiraiya took the kid to another family that had given birth and returned to Konoha while keeping the secret from everyone else.

This happened in the shadows while the biggest change that was recorded in history was that the professor awakened from slumber that day.

Hiruzen Sarutobi took command and brought order to the crumbling Konoha, lit the spirit of fire within the hearts of people and gathered a force to launch an attack on their enemies.

No one expected such a thing, the Professor instigating an offence, especially in such a situation but it happened and Konoha special force led by Hiruzen took down the Raikage and Tsuchikage.

Hiruzen killed the two men along with his advisors for allowing enemy to infiltrate Konoha. In this endeavor the Kazekage did his part as the ally and reaped great rewards as Konoha took over the Land of Fire and spread throughout the continent, subjugating all the Lands under its command.

The professor had lost hope in people understanding each other as his wife had died along with his successor on that day.

Within a decade the Third Hokage showed the world, who was the King of all Shinobi as he built the largest empire in history that spanned half of the world.

"Damn, I wish I could be part of the royal guards and meet the Professor." Naruto muttered as history class finished
