My name is Jane Malone.
My whole life, I've had a connection to piracy. It all started when I was born 24 years ago in a little hut that was built from the puny remains of an old pirate ship as the daughter of the notorious pirate captain Hector Barbossa.
Indeed, he cared for my mother and me, but he was on the high see most of the time to fight with his nemesis Jack Sparrow for his beloved ship, the Black Pearl.
Since my mother passed away, he visited me more often. For nearly one year he lands his ship in the port of Tortuga and provides me with groceries, treasures and beautiful dresses, that he preyed during the forays against the Caribbean islands and Spanish merchantmen.
I work as a waitress in the pub "The captains' daughter" that is located in the center of the island. Here, brawlings are daily fare, mostly caused by drunk buccaneers and pirates who seek shelter from the sway of Spaniard. I work in this pub every night until the early morning. For me, its like a second home. And this is where my story begins:
