Team Hibernators Re-Take The Stage
Community Pride Celebration
-GO! GO! GGO!-
_Day One_

-Barefoot-

"Well this brings back some memories." Isaac stated as he read through the email that had just been sent to him. It was concerning the tournament that they would soon be competing in with another fan team, or what they had assumed would be a fan team. It was now strikingly obvious that this would not be the case, and the brunette boy shivered at the thought of their last encounter with the team of strange controllers that made up team Facultative Hibernators.

He pondered briefly how long it would take before…

No, he shouldn't have entertained the thought, as the moment it came to his mind the dreaded email came through. In a way very similar to the last time, he watched the new email sign pop up on his email, and refreshed to see that it was indeed a message from one of the players, Master Huytin. Previously, they had thought the name was Oil Bin, and had mistaken the fanboy's long winded email as one from a fangirl. It had been quite the shock to see that it turned out to be a male. Isaac quickly deleted the email without looking at it, for fear that the thing would once again end in a serious ddosing of his inbox's.

Perhaps it was better to leave it alone for the time being…

When a call came through on his phone, Isaac jumped at the sound of it, fearing that the team of fanfiction writers had somewhat of a sixth sense concerning what happened to their emails. The screen, however, showed a picture of one of his own team's controllers. Shawn must have heard the news then.

Isaac picked up his phone, quickly responding to the slightly hysteric pianist, assuring him that they would all meet up a while in advance to properly prepare this time. The rest of the team may not even look to see who they were facing, it hadn't seemed like they did last time.

By noon, the team had gathered at Shawn's house, the pianist still looking slightly spooked about the whole situation. Both the leaders of the team wondered why the others did not share the slight concern of playing the team once more, but Karl soon became the clarification they needed to prove that Isaac had been right about them not checking.

"What's up with the two of you? You look like you've seen ghosts or something." The boy had taken about a month after the first match to get over the oddity that stemmed from the team, and the others had been very understanding despite not knowing what had gone down with controller Lyra Anna Ly all those many months ago. In fact, it had actually been that match that caused them to start holding the contest monthly.

"You don't know who we're playing." Isaac stated more than asked. It was outstandingly crystal clear that not a single soul in the room besides the two of them had thought to look. For a moment, he deliberated with himself about letting them keep the fun filled innocence they had come in with. Karl looked at him strangely, as if searching his very soul to figure out what had happened. He must have found it too, because the boy tensed up in a way that Isaac had previously thought was not humanly possible, and he looked as though he might as well faint soon.

"No…." Karl whispered, falling back into a seat that he had been standing in front of before without fully registering it. "No please, not them. Anyone but them."

Finally, it seemed to register with the rest of the team who they were about to challenge, and what this meant for them all. Oscar fell to the ground, crying out about how much he hated this situation, and how unfair it was that the team was able to come back again. "Why Facultative Hibernators. Why not any of the other teams, one of the ones that doesn't want me dead."

"Actually," spoke Mr. Glanz, who had once again appeared out of nowhere. "Since the last game, you have been featured in other pieces. It would appear that Master Huytin has taken pity on you and created a story that does not expressly state that you die."

"I'm in one?" Oscar asked timidly, trying his best to seem like the answer would not matter. In truth, he simply didn't want to have his only appearances be at the hands of the horrible nature of Controller SuperVC. This was news that should be celebrated, but it was tinged with the normal sorrow that followed around any thought he had about that male.

"Yes, however it would appear that there has been a certain speculation about this 'SuperVC' having collected another player that has been named the Anti-Oscar. There is no way for me to know whether this information is true yet or not."

Team barefoot was once again left with grim expressions as they sat quietly, surrounded by only the team and Mr. Glanz, possibly debating pulling out of the tournament altogether.
