"What do you mean!?" Kratos shouted at them.

"I prepared myself for such a great fight... Only to find out that he's a phony?!"

"I know. Sorry to waste your time."

"Oh no you don't. I came here for a fight, and if it's you I have to fight then so be it."

"Only if you let her out of your hold."

"I never said I was going to bargain!"

"Well, I'm doing it anyways!"

The others slunk back as his voice had now raised to a more aggressive volume.

"I'm challenging you, now, tall man whose name I don't know!"

"My name's Son Goku."

"Alright! I challenge you, Son Goku!"

Goku smirked and lunged at him without another word; startling Kratos.

"What the-"

Goku punched and kicked without end, while Kratos writhered in pain.

"Cheater! I demand a restart!"

Goku laughed as he continued his abuse toward the man.

"Nope, not how it works! I want my wife back and for you to leave without another word. If you don't, then I guess you won't even get a chance to leave!"

Kratos growled and threw a punch; making Goku stumble backwards.

"Woah, you've got power!" Goku exclaimed.

"I know that! Now, let's try this aga-"

He was cut off once again by Goku attacking him.

"Damn you! Why do you continue this game?! Is this funny to you?!"

"Maybe!"

"How dare you insult me!"

"I didn't! I just answered your question."

Goku rammed his fist into the side of his face and knocked him so far down that he hit the ground (because they're flying). Goku didn't hesitate to follow back with a flurry of attacks after.

Kratos struggled against him as he sunk deeper into the ground. He only stopped when he was severely bleeding and unmoving. No one sensed even a drop(?) of ki from his body.

"Is he done for?" Gohan asked as he landed by him.

"I'm not sure. Everyone can go home, but I'm staying here to make sure for a little while longer. Just to be safe."

"Alright. I'm coming back after everyone's home, though."

"No. Stay with your mother. See if she comes back as Chichi instead of crazy woman who wants to kill us. If she's normal, then that means we've won. If not, then we've got more work to do."

Gohan nodded and did as he'd asked.

Once everyone was gone, Goku decided to see if he got reactions to anything.

"You know, if you would've just left, this wouldn't have happened. I really would've let you go. But you were too caught up in your ego to listen, huh?"

Nothing.

"If my wife hasn't changed, imma be pissed. Not gonna lie about this. Hey, that rhymed!"

Nothing. He chuckled as he continued to say many things; none to which he reacted to. That was good, but he still wasn't sure.

"Dad! Hurry!" Gohan called. Goku hurriedly got up and flew at tops speed to his son.

"What's wrong, Gohan?!"

"Mom's awake."

He nodded and they flew back together.
