The bell rings a final time and Ms. Bustier walks into class with stacks of papers.
"Hi there and welcome back to school, hope you had a great weekend, but let's get back to business." Ms. Bustier says.
Alya looks down on Marinette and sees her opening her eyes slowly.
"Girl, you awake?" she whispers.
"Huh? What happened?" Marinette asks confused and groggily.
"Woah, you were energetic before, now you look you have...loss sense of yourself? Gosh, that doesn't make sense when I say it. Anyways, you fainted from being lovey-dovey to Adrien." she whispers back to her.
Marinette grabs her hand and sits back up feeling normal again. Alya tapped her arm and gave her a thumbs up and mouths "You good?". She nods back to her.
"So, class, since you had enough time to finish "Les Trois Mousquetaires", which is "The Three Musketeers", please turn in your essay and questions you've finished in the front of the class here." Ms. Bustier asks.
"Oh no! I didn't finish it!" Marinette panicked and shuffled her papers.
"What? You didn't finish it? We have a test on it tomorrow!" Alya panics.
Ms. Bustier walks up to Marinette and Alya with a concerned face.
"Marinette, please come talk to me privately." she asks.
"Huh, why? And also, I can't find my homework." Marinette said.
"Oh, the homework you did? I have that, it's in my hand." she said.
"Uh, why do you have Marinette's work? Is there a problem?" Alya asks.
"Oh, yes there is a problem Alya. Please stay in your seat. Marinette, please come have a private talk with me. Oh, Lila and Adrien, please come too." she said.
'Wait, Lila? She's such a liar, let's see if her lies are plain stupid and false.' Marinette thought.
(Scene change)
The four of them are in a private space in the hallway far from other classrooms.
"Uh, why don't we talk to Mr. Damocles? There's a problem and he can solve it." Adrien asks.
"No need to, Adrien. If the problem escalated further then we'll address it with him." Ms. Bustier reassures.
She then points to Lila signaling to talk.
"So, I've witnessed Marinette having something suspicious in her school bag earlier when I saw it stick out of it." Lila explains.
"Like what Lila?" Marinette scoffs.
"Oh, I saw printed stuff next to the questions you're supposed to answer. Plus, I saw a few sentences of her essay that are the same on mine! Such a shame." Lila whines.
"So, what does this mean Lila? She stole your work and has the homework answers?" Ms. Bustier yells.
Lila nods and consoles Adrien by saying, "Don't worry Adrien, nothing is harming you after this cheater is punished."
(Scene change)
"So, Lila. You're absolutely sure your accusations against Marinette Dupain-Cheng about the school work theft is true." Mr. Damocles clarifies.
"But, Mr. Damocles! I've never cheated on stuff before! I study and do my work as always! Don't expel me again like the time you accused me of stealing a pendant, stole test answers, and pushed her down the stairs!" Marinette pleads.
Adrien tears up and says "I thought I trusted you Marinette. You cheated a second time and my trust for you is down to zero.". He breaks down and runs out the door.
Marinette stands up and says "Wait, Adrien! I-Uh. Don't believe it!". She then breaks down into tears.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, you're expelled from this school. NOW, GET OUT!" Mr. Damocles yells.
Lila walks to her and walks her outside of the principals office. She then closes the door. Marinette's still crying and sits down on the floor. Lila's face changed from sympathy to her usual face when she succeeds.
"I knew I made your life miserable. From now on, the both of us are at war. Dupain-Cheng, our time together will be crushed. You'll end up alone and Adrien will be mine." Lila says.
"Was that the thing you said to me long ago?" Marinette said in a sad voice.
"Uh huh, good luck Marinette, the girl who's in despair." she said in a villainous voice.
