A dark shadow of gloom hovers above the heads of those who hear the news that a little 6 year boy is definitely going to die according to the doctors diagnose. Even strangers in the waiting room where moved to tears they felt pity for the Goodlett family.

The news struck a chord in the hearts of others as the wondered what if their news of their loved ones was just as heartbreaking.

Danny Thomas goes to the diagnosing doctor and ask to see the results. Danny Thomas sees for himself that the diagnosis is correct. Danny Thomas then arranges for all the available staff at that moment to meet him in the Chapel of the Hospital to gather in the chapel. Danny Thomas opens up in prayer and says in tears, "Heavenly Father, I've tried to love you. I've dedicated this Hospital for the well being and health of your little ones that Jesus loves but there's a little boy here today on his birthday who's sick. The doctor says he has 6 months or less to live. Please God we need a miracle Lord. Please see fit to heal that little boy. Thy will be done. In the name, we pray Amen."

Others in the Chapel where also moved to prayer.

Brandon's mom and dad sat with him in the in his Hospital room embracing and praying dearly for their son.

The school the following day take to time to pray for Brandon.

Mark asks, "Jonathan is there anything you or The Boss can do? I mean what's the assignment if we just sit back and watch?"

Jonathan answers, "Let's go talk to Brandon. He is the reason we are here."

Jonathan and Mark walk into Brandon's room. Brandon's mom and dad went home to freshen up and will be back shortly. Jonathan says, "Hey buddy how are you?"

Brandon answers, "I'm weak and tired."

Jonathan responds, "You know you are loved!"

Brandon says, "Yes! By Mommy and Daddy, my friends and especially Jesus."

Jonathan says, "Yes son, especially Jesus. Do you know what the doctors have been saying?"

Brandon answers, "Yes, that I'm going to die. Mr. Peters, my Sunday school teacher told me Jesus loves me and will welcome me to Heaven if I asked Jesus in my heart. I did that 2 weeks ago. I tried to be a good boy. I love my mommy and daddy. I want to be a farmer like My Daddy but I'm not going to be. Why can't I be a farmer like my daddy?" He asks in tears.

Jonathan and Mark are both in tears and Jonathan speaks, "Son, (Jonathan prays for the right words,) "Son, maybe you have been a farmer in another way. Maybe your life has been used by God to help people learn to love one another. Maybe your life is being used by God to influence your school. Your school has unified together in prayer over you. They love you, they admire you. They are your friends and you know something else? Danny Thompson lead the Hospital staff in prayer over you. Your are loved Brandon Goodlett, you are admired Brandon Goodlett, you are an influencer Brandon Goodlett. You have sown the seed into the hearts of people. This world is a better place because of you. Heaven needs you now. God wants you up there with Him."

Brandon then asks, "Can I sing with the Angels? I never been able to carry a tune."

Jonathan looks up toward Heaven and answers, "Yes, Brandon you'll sing with the Angels."

Brandon asks, Are you an Angel?"

Jonathan answers, "Yes Brandon, I'm an Angel."

Brandon states, "Your friend, Mark is just a man isn't he?"

Jonathan replies back, "Yes Brandon, he's just a man."

Brandon answers, "God told me! That was good cake and ice cream by the way! (he giggles) a friend of mine says snow is when God is making a cake and all the snow is all the flour and sugar spilling out from Heaven. Was that cake we had from Heaven?"

Jonathan answers with, "I guess it was!"

Brandon smiles and than falls asleep.

Jonathan and Mark leaves.

No one knows the number of days Brandon has left but Danny Thomas still wants to do something for Brandon. What will it be?
