Morning
Jade woke up, not in her bed. She had stayed the night with Beck, but he wasn't there. She got up and began to get dressed. Her clothes were still in a pile on the floor where they'd been shed the night before. She could take a hint. She'd leave.
At the sound of a door opening behind her, she flung up an arm to cover herself and turned around.
'Morning babe.'
'Where were you? I woke up and you were gone.'
'You were a bit restless last night so I brought you coffee. What are you doing?'
'I thought you'd left.' She looked relieved as she sank into the sofa. 'I'm just getting dressed.'
'You wore that outfit yesterday. If you wear it today, people will know you slept over. I told you that there are some of your clothes in the drawer.'
She gave a little smile, ducking her head so he wouldn't see.
'What time is it? We're going to be late for school.'
'Half six, we've got time.'
'In that case...' She pulled him down to the sofa and he leaned in to kiss her. He stepped away for a moment to put the coffees down and was immediately pulled back.
After what was easily ten minutes, Jade pushed him back on the sofa and continued getting dressed. She looked incredible in anything she wore but the black laced top made her look fierce and beautiful. A short, layered skirt with splashes of blue to match her hair, tall black boots. She was stunning.
Beck grabbed his coat, took a sip of coffee and headed for the door. She followed him out to the car and they drove to school in near silence, but they were happy.
