Maura sees everything jane has done she was left speechless. You did all this for me? Well Jane said I wanted us to have some time just to touch base after a busy day. Jane smiles. She pours Maura a chilled glass of wine and one for herself they sit on the blanket and look out over the city, this is beautiful Jane. Jane is happy about this but at the same time wondering how she is going to focus on work when the woman who she cant get off her mind is in the same building. That's great Maur! Jane walks Maura to her door, Well I better get going. Maura nods. But before Jane could walk away Maura grabs Jane's hand and pulls her back planting a kiss right on Janes lips. Maura can feel jane relax as Jane's hands find there way to her side. After a few seconds they pull apart. Wow says Maura and the look on Jane's face says the same. Jane clears her throat before speaking, .what was that for she says with a sly smile. Mauras face turns red, I couldnt let us dance around it anymore I figured it was now or never right winking at Jane. Jane smiled would you mind if I kissed you again? Not at all Maura said smiling, Jane leaned in and placed a soft tender kiss on Mauras lips. I'm sorry she says, but I should really be going, even tho I would really like to stand here and kiss you all night I promised my mom we would talk tonight. Jane walked Into her mothers house Ma I'm here! She yelled putting her keys down. Hey Janie her mom said giving her kiss on her cheek. How was you're day she asked while jane grabbed a beer out the fridge. It was great, I got the job and I took maura out to lunch. I'm not sure Jane explained. All I know is when I think of this brilliant woman my stomach gets butterflies and when I see her I feel like my heart is going to jump right out of my chest. Oooo someone's in loveee frankie snarks. Shut up you goof she says throwing a carrot at him from across the kitchen. Hey! dont tell your brother to shut up, yeah! Frankie says with a smile sticking his tongue at his sister like hes 5 again. I cant focus on a relationship right now, not after just getting home. I have so many things on my plate at the moment. As jane said those words she got lost in thought over the kisses they shared earlier. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt maura. And she knew if they continued that, that's exactly what would happen. They both had so much to focus on right now that the relationship would suffer and someone was bound to get hurt.
