Soon they were making new friends. Mary became friends with Dahlia, Muffet became friends with Margot, and Darla became friends with Shadow.
"I can't wait to see you in school!" Darla said.
"But I won't be in your grade. You're going in second grade, I'm going in first. You'll be with my brother Malachi." Shadow explained.
"Oh."
After most of the things were unpacked, Shirley made lunch for everyone. Darla also saw Rose and Cory. Rose had short red hair, a green shirt, black shorts, and lime green eyes. Cordelia had long hot pink pigtails, a blue shoulderless dress, and teal eyes. After lunch, Darla, Shadow, Muffet, Margot, and Harley were in the Temple's backyard playing.
"Oh! I have to show you guys something." Muffet said. She led them up a hill.
"This is where you can see the whole neighborhood." Muffet said. They all laid down in the grass.
"It pretty!" Harley said and looked around.
"Did you know about this, Darla?" Margot asked.
"No, actually. I used to live in Hollywood. I just moved in with my family." Darla answered. Margot and Shadow were a little confused, but they didn't say anything. They continued relaxing in the soft grass. They could be a club now! And they could trust Harley. This was their secret spot.
"Harley, I have to tell you something." Margot said and got up, but saw that Harley wasn't there! The others got up.
"Where is she?" Shadow asked. "We have to find her or mom and dad are gonna kill us!" She yelled.
"Quiet! Just think; she couldn't have gone down, or we would've seen her. So she must've gone..." Muffet said. They looked up the hill.
"...into the woods." They all said in unison.
"I'm scared." Shadow whimpered. Margot and Shadow held hands. They all walked into the woods.
