A/N I know IA'm not a very good person for being so bad at updating, but forgive me. I'm stuck at home because of the coronavirus and don't have much time to write. Also, please comment if you'ryou're bothered to read this. And go see my other fanfiction. Yeah... that's about it.

The woman wrinkled her nose and looked around at her surroundings.

"Elizabethan England! That's actually not too far off! Same galaxy... same solar system... same planet..."

"So on earth then... not like some parallel universe, or another planet with a queen Elizabeth." Graham confirmed. The doctor nodded her head grinning. And then she stopped grinning. Because another blonde woman had come up to her. And that blonde woman happened to be Rose.

"If you wouldn't mind me asking... who in the world-"

"Rose, let me handle this..." The tenth said strolling up to Graham, "I've got to admit... I look old... but then again I like the haircut... I don't remember meeting you so you're probably in my fut-"

"Gosh it stinks out here... who's this doc?" Yaz and Ryan had walked out of the Tardis.

The thirteenth, finally getting the chance to speak, said, "In order to avoid confusion and state this in the simplest way possible... This was me when I was a man!"

Rose looked confused, Ryan and Yaz looked like someone had just proved that the earth was the size of a marble, Graham looked faint yet extremely curious and the tenth's head swivelled around to look at the thirteenth.

And everyone went silent. For a second.

"I get to become a woman! And wear cool woman stuff! And do whatever woman do-"

Rose cut of the tenth. "Is it alright that I'm really confused?"

"Oh- right- sorry- she's me. And I'm her. Which regeneration?" The tenth asked turning to look at thirteenth.

Rose practically fainted. Ryan and Yaz rushed over to help her although they both also looked like they could do with a really good shake on the shoulders. In fact everyone looked like that apart from the doctors, who were having an intense discussion outside the door of the Tardis.

"I'm the thirteenth."

"What really! I get three more? Also I'm loving the hair. Although if I'm being honest I didn't think I'd end up as a woman."

"It's actually quite a handy upgrade."

"Oi... being a man isn't that bad."

"True.. although I personally prefer now-"

"If you're done talking to yourself... there seem to be some angry armoured men on horses riding towards us." Shouted Rose.

They all ran into the Tardis, with the thirteenth holding the door open for all of them. When Rose brushed past her shoulder, she gave the thirteenth a skeptical look, but despite the distrust in her face, there was the slightest thrill in her eyes, which the thirteenth couldn't help but smile at.

And with that the door shut, and a whooshing sound rang in the air.
