Quick AN I would like to thank all of you who reviewed and followed/favorited the story it truly does mean a lot to me as a new aspiring writer. I know I said that I would wait to update but I've had this chapter written for a bit and wanted to get it out so here we are. Now to address a few things, yes I know that Harry Potter takes place in the late 1900s while Percy Jackson takes place in the early 2000s. I was more thinking that this story would be around the Harry Potter timeline so the late 1900s not in the 2000s. I could do something like Hecate whipped something up to teleport him back in time to help out but I'm just gonna say that PJO took place in the late 1900s and he died before Harry was born. Harry will be born in a few years (Percy will be around 2-3 years older). Now to answer RedBloodedMoon (and thank you for reviewing and asking questions and all that truly means a lot) Percy will not be Harry, I thought about it, to be honest, but no Percy will be a separate character but they will have similar-ish timelines of their magic stories if that makes sense at all.

Perseus Jackson was confused. Now some of you may be thinking 'well that's normal, he isn't the brightest demigod' and while not false that's not entirely true. See Percy may not be the smartest academically (mostly due to his dyslexia/ADHD and lack of good supporting teachers) he was very perceptive and had a very quick and calculating mind for battle, but Percy had never been put into a situation like this, or at least that he could remember, he was a baby. Yes, the mighty hero, slayer of Gaea and Kronos, etc, etc, was a small, babbling baby. He could still remember his previous life but he couldn't do anything like move around his arms or legs, and when he tried to speak nothing came out except for gargles. Then after he let his thoughts process he started to panic, but seeing as he was a baby he started bawling his eyes out. He was supposed to be in the DOA recording studios waiting in line to be ferried across the Styx and eventually judged not in some random crib in a hospital. He wished to see his friends again like Silena, Beckendorf, and so many others. When he died that's exactly what he expected to happen not to wind up as a stupid baby. His crying had apparently drawn the attention of some people because a woman came running to his side, picked him up, and started bouncing him. Percy assumed that this was the woman who had birthed him, but this woman would never be his mother. His real mother was Sally Jackson who was probably very sad in New York City right now. Then something crazy happened. The door opened and Percy noticed someone. Two nurses walked in and started speaking and he didn't pay attention but they weren't the person who drew his attention. Standing in the doorway was a man who he had last seen in Alaska. He glared at the man the best he could but seeing as he was a baby it was most likely very comical. Thanatos was here. To be honest with you Percy didn't hate Thanatos, I mean sure he had come off as a bit arrogant when they had met in Alaska but the dude was death if he wasn't arrogant it would've been surprising, but for now Percy had to wait for at least two years to ask him what he did. Well, that or Thanatos would tell him at some point he assumed. What he didn't understand, and this truly baffled him a lot, he had kept his memories after being reborn. Now from what Percy had heard you take…. A dip … In the Lethe. Of course, Percy thought, he didn't really get affected by the Lethe so that could be it, he would have to ask Thanatos to truly know the answers. Percy then turned his attention to the nurses speaking to his "mother." Nurse 1 said, "Miss you never did give us a definitive name for your child, do you have any ideas?" His mother replied, "Yes, the father has decided he would wish to name the child Perseus or Percy." At that Percy was surprised, he thought he would have to get used to a new name in a new place, but Thanatos had done him this one favor so he supposed the god may not be all that bad. This way it allows him a connection to his own life and he would never ever forget it. No matter what they did to him in the end he would remember the good ones who stuck by his side till the bitter end. You see camp had kind of gone off the deep end towards the end of his life. With all the stress on him Chiron had grown weary and couldn't focus as much as he used to on keeping the campers in line so they became sheep, following whoever seemed to be strong and capable of leading so Percy left to go to his mother and Annabeth didn't wish to join him. She claimed that she wanted to stay at camp and go to college at an Ivy League college but he suspected she had ulterior motives that didn't involve him holding her down. So saddened he lived with his mother and Paul working as a director at the aquarium. It paid really well and he had no reason to live with them other than the fact that he loved being by them. All of this until his untimely death at the age of 22, although he definitely was glad that he died over the little girl in the apartment below them. But that was just who he is as a person.

Thank you for reading chapter 1! Well, or 2 depending on how you look at it. A big thing that I added as a late thing was Annabeth breaking up with Percy. You may hate this and so do I but seeing as he will be in the Harry Potter world I want to pair him with either someone new like Hestia or a different goddess (I would say Artemis but that is way too cliche but if some of you like the idea I'll think about it), or pair him with someone like Hermione or Daphne (Daphne is my leader if I don't choose Hestia although I will most likely have a poll) from HP. Now I ask you all would you like it if Percy has to go to camp? If so would he reveal himself or would he be told by Thanatos to keep it quiet? Obviously we have a while left before that time given that he is a baby and if he does go to camp it won't be till he is around 11, or 12. I will most likely skip over his younger ages with a few highlights, lowlights, and flashbacks just so this doesn't oversaturate with baby/young Percy. Please review, I only got 2 so if you don't like it let me know what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it and what I'm doing right so I can keep doing it. Also, follow/favorite and all that jazz makes me feel competent. And now I'm out peace.
