One at a time tho :D

ii. There you are.

It was wee hours in the morning when Syaoran's phone ringed. Other people are snoring by this time, but not him. He was seating on his black leather chair at his office, the light coming from the laptop illuminating his face when he answered on the second ring.

"This better be good news. It's been three weeks," he answered with authority, not bothering to greet the person on the other end "Hello" or whatnot.

"Yes, boss. Positive. We've found her."

Syaoran's eyes widened. He has been staying in Hong Kong the whole time after they left Japan three weeks ago... after Sakura found out about him and suddenly left him with haste.

He is still livid over what she did. He knows that she's shocked, too angry, and confused about what she just found out. But Syaoran was shocked as well by what she did. Of all the things she could possibly do, she chose to leave him and she even took their children with her. She could've at least contacted him and informed him that she and their twins are okay. She's still his wife after all and the father of their children. He couldn't help but worry about them and their safety.

Syaoran didn't know Sakura was this good at hiding. He had to credit her hiding skills. He was already using his most talented men in looking for her, yet they still couldn't locate her for weeks.

He tried budging out details from Tomoyo, but she too, doesn't have any idea on Sakura's whereabouts. He actually believes her because Tomoyo sounded like she's doing her best in trying not to cry while talking to him. He knew she misses Sakura a lot.

"You should have told her from the beginning," Tomoyo said, blaming him.

Syaoran, not wanting to argue with her, instantly dropped the call. He was interested in knowing if she has any idea on Sakura and his kids' location and not to be berated over what was already done.

But more than the pure anger inside him, he feels the longing and desire to find her and be with her and the twins. He misses them so much. These three weeks have been the longest time he has been apart from his family.

"Go on," Syaoran urged his henchman to continue.

"Ms. Sakura is staying in one of the outskirts of town in Yamaguchi. She rented a room in one of the farmer's house there. Based from our investigation, she paid her landlord three hundred thousand yen to let her stay for at least 2 months and-"

"2 months? Well, I guess she needs to cut her stay short. Prepare our private plane and arrange whatever needs to be arranged so I can directly go there. l want to leave in two hours max," Syaoran commanded, cutting off his henchman.

"Will do, boss."

Syaoran speed-dialled Erio's number. And said guy answered on the fourth ring.

"You know I'm in the middle of my beauty rest?" Eriol said groggily.

"We'll leave in two hours. Call Ren and Taki. I need them to go with us too," Syaoran said, wasting no time in preparing to go to Japan to meet his family and take them to Hong Kong.

"Did they find her?" Eriol immediately jumped from his bed while rubbing the sleep off of his eyes.

Syaoran stood up and picked up a picture frame of his family on his office table. "Yes. I'll call you again once our plane is ready," he replied.

Eriol sighed. He's glad they've found her already. Maybe having Sakura and the kids in Hong Kong would bring the cold, but tolerable Syaoran back. The blue-haired man found that dealing with the current Syaoran is very challenging. He was used to the cold Syaoran before, but he can't handle the temper and mood swings of this current Syaoran. It was a whole new level of temperamental mafia boss. Even all their underlings cower in fear before him whenever they are summoned to his office to assign them tasks. Admittedly, Eriol too, sometimes fear Syaoran's outbursts lately. It's like he couldn't tame the wild beast anymore whenever they encounter problem in their business or when he hears news that they still couldn't locate his wife. That's why the cousins decided to just do whatever Syaoran barks in order to placate him.

As much as Eriol wanted to blame Sakura for the sudden change in Syaoran, he can't. He knows she's hurting as well and thinks that leaving Syaoran is possibly her way of dealing with the current situation. He also loves Sakura and his nephews, and he couldn't wait till they live in Hong Kong and starts brightening up the Li mansion… and Syaoran's mood too.

What worried him is if Sakura will willingly come with them. He sighed for the umpteenth time.

The Li private jet, which can seat about 18 passengers, is already parked in one of the Li mansion's extensive parking lot. The engine roared at exactly two in the morning, as commanded by Syaoran.

The amber-eyed mafia boss immediately climbed the airstair and seated himself in his usual seat. Five minutes after, Eriol, Ren and Taki entered the plane as well. Syaoran glared at them so hard Ren backed up in fear and like a domino effect, he bumped his back against Eriol's chest, and Eriol's back against Taki's chest.

Taki groaned. "What the fuck, Ren?"

"You're late," Syaoran said in a low voice.

Eriol, who's used to this scary Syaoran, brushed off his chest and moved Ren to the side since he was blocking his view of Syaoran. "It's only five past three, couz. I'm sure Sakura and the twins are sleeping soundly and have no idea that we're coming to get them. We'll be in Japan in an hour and we'll land in Yamaguchi Ube Airport."

Syaoran was about to speak when Eriol cut him off. "Don't worry about the cars. I've already arranged it with the town mayor. Apparently he needs an extra budget for their town, so you know the deal," Eriol explained trying to calm his cousin. Eriol is good at negotiating. He was the one who contacted the town mayor and offered a hefty amount of money for them to temporarily park their private plane in their local airport. He also asked the town mayor to provide them cars to ride and to make some convincing reason if ever the government inquires about an unknown plane landing on their airport. It was a good thing that the town mayor badly needed the money, so Eriol didn't have any hard time negotiating.

Syaoran nodded, calming down.

"So in short, we'll be with your family even before they eat breakfast and hopefully be back in Hong Kong in a jiffy," Eriol added as an assurance so Syaoran won't have another one of his tantrums as Eriol calls it. He seated himself next to Syaoran while Ren and Taki tiptoed and seated themselves on the other side, not wanting to be the target of their cousin's wrath.

The private plane took off immediately after everyone is seated comfortably.

"I'm excited to meet Sakura. I've only seen her in pictures shown by Aunt Yelan," Taki said, breaking the eerie silence in the plane.

Taki and Ren are brothers and their mother is the younger sister of Syaoran's father. So, they also consider Syaoran as some sort of an older brother rather than a cousin. Taki is currently twenty five years old and is three years older than Ren. Both brothers sport onyx black hair and obsidian black eyes.

Most women in Hong Kong describe the men in the Li's as dangerously beautiful. Aside from Syaoran and Eriol, Ren and Taki are also one of the most sough-after bachelors in the country. Women there are aware of their family background and how dangerous it is to be involved with them, but still, they risk any chance they could get to know and be with any Li family member.

"She's a beauty and-" Ren instantly shut his mouth as Eriol immediately silenced him with a hand signal that can be interpreted as, "Don't start riling Syaoran, you dumbass".

Ren gulped, but continued, "… and their babies are cute." He then double-tapped his phone, unlocked it, and started playing games.

Taki sighed. He wished this could be all over soon so they can all get back to their normal lives. He missed having Syaoran, Eriol, and Ren back in Hong Kong. These three weeks have been the longest time they stayed in the country after five years. Syaoran, Eriol, and Ren have been going back-and-forth to Japan and Hong Kong for five years. One day they're at Hong Kong and the next day they're in Japan. He wanted to tag along with them but Syaoran didn't allow him. Syaoran specifically instructed him to lead their group in Hong Kong while Syaoran, with the help Eriol, try to expand their business in Japan. He included Ren with him since Ren needed to be trained on how to lead as well. They were originally planned to finish all the needed arrangements in Japan in two years, but their plan went downhill when Syaoran fell in love.

He wanted to blame Sakura for the predicament she brought Syaoran and his family into. Taki doesn't know the reason why Syaoran had to lie to that Sakura for years about who he is and what he does. There might be a pretty good reason behind it but he still can't understand it. Syaoran was their boss and the current patriarchal head of the Li family; He can get whatever he wants and whoever he wants, but it's as if that Sakura has him wrapped up her finger.

Taki sighed, "Love is scary," he muttered.

"Hmm?," asked Ren while tapping his phone.

"Nothing," Taki replied, stealing a curious glance at Syaoran.

Sakura was humming a tune she always sings to her twins to sleep while cooking their breakfast. They always wake up at six in the morning because as Shun explains it, "The birds are noisy."

Indeed. The birds here in the rural area are quite noisy, but calming for Sakura. She chuckled, thinking how cute Shun is. She lowered the heat to cook the porridge for a little bit longer as she stepped out of the house. She found Shun and Sora crouched on some plant, observing an insect crawling out of a pink flower.

"Shun, Sora, come inside now. We'll eat breakfast," shouted Sakura.

She closed her eyes and inhaled the fresh air. She couldn't get enough of how refreshing the air is in this town. The air in here smells of woods and sunshine. She opened her eyes and took in the beauty of nature.

Being here makes her forget her problems. Sakura frowned, remembering a certain problem she has yet to face. She's well aware of what she did to Syaoran was wrong. She wanted to call him and inform him that they are okay, but she's scared. She did try contacting Tomoyo, but didn't since she knows how powerful and resourceful a mafia is. Sakura thought that her calling Tomoyo might give away her exact location. She shivered, thinking about how cold and scary Syaoran is that day. She can't believe how she was scared and turned on at the same time. Sakura shook her head to rid of her foolish thoughts.

She still doesn't know how to feel about Syaoran lying to her for years. And she still can't believe that Syaoran is a mafia boss. She has many questions for him, but for now she wanted to take some time to sort her feelings out.

She sighed and looked at he surroundings. Sakura will never get tired of seeing how green the trees are in here, how flowers fully blossom, and how those black and sleek-looking sedans are speeding towards her rented house.

She blinked her eye in disbelief.

"What the…"

Sakura stood there wondering what four sedans headed in her rented house are doing in this remote outskirt.

"I see Sakura and the twins," Ren said giddily, both his hands and face are leaning in on the car window like a kid.

"She seems at peace," Taki said, still curious at how that woman really changed his cousin.

Eriol smiled. He can be content now that Syaoran found his family. He was just hard to deal with the past three weeks. He just hopes that Sakura will come with them peacefully or else who knows what Syaoran will do to bring her to Hong Kong. Eriol knows Syaoran will have no problem with the kids, except for their mother. Eriol laughed internally at the thought of Syaoran hauling Sakura over his shoulders. He then looked at Syaoran who has watching Sakura like a hawk.

Syaoran's eyes easily spotted the auburn-haired woman he's all too familiar with. A bubble of excitement formed in his stomach when he saw her coming out of the house. She was wearing a white floral sundress. He's still angry at her, but for now, he just wanted to hug her tight and kiss her for the days he wasn't able to because she left. He was willing to put aside their problem for now and have a small chat with her while convincing her to come with him to Hong Kong. If she fights him on this one, then he has a backup plan. Syaoran winced deep down, fully aware that Sakura will hate her again when she finds out about his backup plan.

The car stopped in front of the house and Syaoran instantly opened the door to reveal himself.

Shun and Sora craned their necks to check the cars that stopped near their house. Their eyes widened and they instantly sprang off their feet to run towards their father. No matter what getup Syaoran wear or even if he was sporting black sunglasses, the twins will always recognize their father

"Touchan!," Both the twins yelled while dashing towards their father.

Syaoran crouched down and scooped the twins to give them their much needed hug and affection. Syaoran missed his boys.

Sakura was still gaping at what she's seeing and was brought back to reality when she saw her children ran towards their dad. She missed Syaoran, too.

Eriol, Ren, and Taki stepped out of the car to watch the family reunion.

"Shun miss you, dad," Shun said, blinking the tears coming down from his eyes.

"Sora miss you too, touchan," Sora said, sobbing.

Syaoran hugged them both tightly. "I missed Shun and Sora, too. So, so, so much!"

Sora tried to break free from his hug. He formed a circle using both his hands, "Like this much?"

Syaoran chuckled. "No, baby. Bigger than that. My love for the both of you is immeasurable," he said with so much affection, Ren tried not to gag. Taki frowned in disbelief, seeing his cousin so affectionate for the first time.

Sora then smiled. Hugging his father again even though he has no idea what the meaning of immeasurable is.

Syaoran stood up, still carrying his boys. "I have gifts for you two," he whispered. "Uncle Eriol has it so you should come with him inside the car, okay?"

"Okay!" Both kids shouted, excited for their gifts.

Syaoran then handed his twins to Eriol and Eriol nodded, already enacting on what Syaoran asked him to do.

The blue-haired man smiled his famous Cheshire Cat smile at the twins, "Hello you, two! Uncle Eri missed you so much!" Eriol cooed, tickling both their sides before scooping them up.

The twins giggled, excited at seeing their playmate.

Taki stared at the kids. He tried to hide his smile but couldn't since he had to admit that the kids look like Syaoran a lot. And he already felt the familial bond he has with these two kids.

"Now why don't we get inside the car and play. I'll introduce you two to uncle Taki!" Eriol said.

Sakura woke from daze when she saw Syaoran handing her twins to Eriol and Eriol bringing them inside the car.

She walked towards the car but then she bumped against Syaoran's chest. She didn't see Syaoran in front of her as she was focused on her twins.

Syaoran's eyes darkened the moment Sakura's lithe form bumped into him. It was only a fleeting moment but Syaoran swore he felt her soft and rounded breast. It took him all his willpower to not grab her by her nape and kiss her.

"So now you're acting like I don't exist after leaving me?" Syaoran asked jokingly, smiling smugly at her. Syaoran wanted to hug her bad.

Sakura gasped and blushed. She missed that smile. She thought of a cold Syaoran ordering her to get in the car as well, but not this one. She stared at him and observed him. Syaoran still looks handsome as ever, but she slightly frowned noticing the dark circles under his eyes. Is he getting enough sleep?

"I-I.. Where are you taking my twins?" asked Sakura.

"I missed you." Syaoran scanned her slender form. He had to admit he got excited being near her and wanted nothing but to undress her, but he had to control his urge.

Sakura blushed even more from the look Syaoran is giving her. She knows what that look is. "Where are you taking them Syaoran?" She tried to regain her composure and ignored the butterflies in her stomach. Only Syaoran can definitely make her feel this way.

"Hong Kong. Don't worry. We're going there as well. Don't I get a hug, Sakura?" Syaoran said, acting cool despite feeling happy, ecstatic, aroused, and angry all at the same time at finally seeing and talking to his wife.

"What!? No! I already told you that I'm staying here in Japan," Sakura retaliated. She was almost lost in her trance after hearing Syaoran's husky voice. She missed hearing this whenever they're in their king size bed. She shook her head. She wanted to slap herself for thinking that at a time like this.

Eriol was looking outside the car window and guessed that Sakura is still not keen in going to Hong Kong and will put up a fight.

"I wonder what'll Syaoran do?" He muttered to himself. He looked back at the car to check on the twins. He laughed at what he saw. The toy cars were supposed to be for Shun and Sora, but Taki and Ren seems to be occupied as well in playing with it.

"Look, Eriol. Why aren't these toys invented yet when we were kids!" Ren whined.

"Hush now, child," Eriol said jokingly.

Syaoran sighed. "Look, Sakura, I'm starving. I've been awake for twenty four hours now and I immediately headed here when I found out that this is where you're hiding. Won't you at least invite me in and feed me?" He pleaded.

Sakura felt guilty. She wanted to hug her husband and soak in his warmth, but the disheartening memories from three weeks ago kept holding her back. But she still is not that heartless to not offer Syaoran food.

"Come inside," Sakura invited, walking towards the house.

Syaoran snickered, interpreting what Sakura said in a different way. Sakura glared at him but he only chuckled and then followed suit. He looked back at the car where Eriol is, silently conveying to be ready.

Sakura asked Syaoran to sit while she prepared him her cooked porridge. He requested for tea as well. Syaoran observed Sakura for a moment. Nothing has changed. She still moves gracefully as ever whenever she's in the kitchen, except for the occasional clumsiness she exhibits – like how she dropped the ladle. Syaoran chuckled.

Sakura stiffened a bit when she heard the chuckle, but tried to act casual about it. She picked up the ladle she dropped and washed it. After drying it, she instantly scooped porridge for Syaoran. She served it at the table and prepared him tea. She was trying to keep herself busy because she was nervous. "Get a grip, Sakura. He's your husband!" She squeaked when she heard Syaoran spoke.

"You paid three hundred thousand yen to rent this?" Syaoran examined the quaint tradition Japanese house. He assumed this can house a family of five.

Sakura looked back, shocked. "How did you know that?"

Syaoran looked at her directly, tasting the porridge she made, "I asked you first, Sakura."

"Y-Y-Yes. This was where the cab dropped us when I asked him to take us somewhere far," she explained. She's preparing herself for a possible lash out from Syaoran now that she just admitted that she left him intentionally.

"I see," Syaoran continued wolfing down the porridge. He definitely missed Sakura's dishes as well.

Sensing that Syaoran will no longer speak, she went on and poured him a tea. "Syaoran, you know I still won't go with you. I need to sort out my feelings first about this. I hope you understand," she said while slowly stirring the tea.

"I know, but I think that you know that I won't allow that," Syaoran contested.

Sakura finished preparing both their teas. She carefully placed the one she made for Syaoran near the bowl of porridge he's eating while she took a sit across him.

"Look, I don't want to fight. I'm asking you to let me be on my own until I sort things out. I'm still angry at you," Sakura said calmly, stirring her tea.

Syaoran scoffed at her. "You do know I'm mad as hell, too, right? You left me. You took our children with you without me knowing. How do you think I feel, Sakura?"

"But you lied to me. I'm still in the process of taking it all in. I'm not sure who you really are anymore," Sakura said, teary-eyed.

"I'm your husband, Sakura," Syaoran answered quickly. He observed her. He knows Sakura is too stubborn to be convinced to go to Hong Kong with him so he has no choice. He needs to execute his backup plan now.

Syaoran took a sip of his tea. "Do you have some sugar?"

"Since when did you like adding sugar to your tea?" Sakura asked in confusion. Syaoran doesn't have a sweet tooth.

"Since the time you left me," Syaoran retorted, knowing well that Sakura will feel guilty about what she did.

Sakura blushed red and stood up to get some sugar. She wanted to glare at Syaoran. She knows that Syaoran might've just been teasing her, but who knows. Maybe Syaoran did like sweets even before they met years ago. She shook her head, trying to forget the past.

As Sakura stood, Syaoran instantly took a piece of folded paper from his chest pocket and poured its contents in to Sakura's tea. He watched as the chalky powder slowly got diluted in her tea. He immediately sat down and drank his tea nonchalantly as Sakura already got the sugar. He cleared his throat.

"Here."

Syaoran nodded and scooped an almost non-existent amount of sugar and poured it in his tea. He doesn't have a sweet tooth. He just needed some reason for Sakura to be distracted.

Sakura stared in disbelief as she took a sip of hers. "That amount won't change its taste!"

He chuckled. "Yes, it will. So how's life in the rural? Met some guys? Were you even planning on telling me where you are?" He inquired sarcastically.

Sakura took another sip of her tea, frowning at the sudden change in its taste but she ignored it. "It's peaceful here. It calms me. No, there are only elder people here and I liked it. And yes, I was planning on calling Tomoyo first since I figured you might contact her and force her to tell you where I am, but I thought otherwise. I'm not ready yet," she explained, drinking her third sip of tea. She was trying to figure out why it suddenly tasted like medicine.

"And you think I might drag you out of here and bring you to Hong Kong once I find you?" Syaoran was watching her like a hawk now. Observing the aftereffects of the knock-out drug he asked Wei to concoct for him. Wei assured him that the only effect it will have on Sakura is deep sleep for about a day or two.

"Yes. I still have a lot of questions, Syaoran-"

"Did you list them down? I think three weeks is already a long time for you to sort out your feelings," Syaoran quoted.

She glared at him for cutting her off and for being sarcastic. She took her fourth sip. Why does it taste bitter? "No, I still need time. And you bringing us to Hong Kong will not help," she said, massaging her temple.

Syaoran gulped his tea, standing up. He walked over to Sakura's side. Wei said just two sips of any liquid mixed with the medicine he concocted will instantly take effect. The person who will drink the drugged liquid will fall asleep in no more than five minutes.

Sakura's eyes followed Syaoran, wondering why he suddenly stood up. Her vision is starting to get blurry. What's happening? "Syaoran, what's happening," she voiced out. She tried to stand up but her knees wobbled. Syaoran caught her in his arms.

"I'm sorry for doing this, Sakura. This is the only way I can think of. I know you won't come with me but I need you there. I need Shun and Sora. I can't let you guys out of my sight ever again. You'll probably hate me more for doing this, but I'll accept any hate you give as long as you're by my side. I love you so much Sakura. I love you and our children so, so much," Syaoran said sincerely, his eyes expressing remorse for doing this to her and expressing his passionate love for her as well.

Sakura heard all of it. She can't believe it. She wanted to be angry at him. No matter how many times she said she didn't want to go, he still won't listen. She wanted to be with Syaoran as well but not like this. She wants time for herself, she wanted to confide to Tomoyo, and she wanted to find out more things about Syaoran first, but hearing Syaoran exclaim his love for her made her forget about everything. She let out a tear. She still loves him too. She wanted to reciprocate her unchanged feelings for him, but she succumbed to sleep. "Syaoran, I lo-"

Syaoran crouched down to carry his sleeping beauty. He watched Sakura's sleeping face. He forced a smile. He promised that he'll explain everything to Sakura once she's already settled in Hong Kong. He walked out of the house and Eriol jumped out of the car as soon as she saw Syaoran carrying a sleeping Sakura.

"I guess everything went according to plan," Eriold said nervously.

Syaoran nodded.

"But just out of curiosity Syao, you didn't knock her out, did you?" Eriol knows Syaoran is not a man who will resort to physical abuse towards women and children, but he is a curious man after all. He is itching to ask.

"Fuck off, Eriol. I put her to sleep using Wei's medicine," Syaoran said in a defeated voice.

Eriol smiled brightly. He knew Syaoran's back. He never heard Syaoran say "Fuck off " to him in the last three weeks.

Eriol then assisted Syaoran in the other car, opening the door for him. He closed the door and instructed their men to check the house and bring any important stuff Sakura might have in there. The blue-haired man also commanded them to check the vicinity and see if there are any bystanders who saw what transpired. Though he doubts they will find any since the area is secluded.

The car Syaoran and Sakura was riding already left for the airport.

Eriol got in the other car and asked the driver to follow Syaoran's car.

"Where's kaachan and touchan?" asked Shun while Sora is still playing with Ren and Taki. Shun is the perceptive one of the twins.

"They're in the other car. You'll see them again in the plane," Eriol assured him.

Shun pouted, "Plane?"

Eriol looked back and smiled, "Yes, we're finally going home. To Hong Kong baby!" he exclaimed excitedly.

Seeing how happy and excited his uncle is, Shun cannot help but smile as well. He nodded and went back to playing with his brother and other uncles even though he has no idea where Hong Kong is.

So what do you guys think? Lemme know XD
