Excalibur managed to recover after they flew up into space. Other robotic figures soon boarded the ship.
"Rhino, the tanky Tenno." The muscular one introduced himself. His helmet seems like it have a horn on it, and his skin is grey colored. "I can both take and deal out damage. Heavy enemy fire? Just let me take the lead, and the bullets!"
"This is my weapon, a pretty typical assault rifle." Rhino gestured at a rifle strapped across his shoulders.
The second one was the yellow Tenno which were electrocuting the Grinner. "Volt." He said as electricity sparkled around his hands. "You can probably guess it, my specialty is electricity. I can charge up my rifle and zap our enemies in no time!" He said as he fondles with a rifle dangling over his shoulder, sparks travelling through it. "Oh, and I can also shoot electricity without weapons, but charging my weapons and firing them that way makes it more powerful."
Mag was next to speak up. "The name Mag comes from magnetism. As the name indicates, I manipulate magnetic waves. That's how I was able to send the Grinner flying. I can also pull people and things closer." Mag said as she pulled Excalibur closer to her. "I can also mark people, places, and things with a magnetic wave, which allows them to draw in fire."
Mag waves her hand at her rifle, which ends up stuck to a wall. As she retrieves her rifle, Mag continued her introduction. "I can also release a magnetic wave to destroy shields. Not very useful against Grineer, though, as they prefer thick armor over shields. Although, I can weaken their shields with my magnetic waves."
"Last but not least." The last robotic figure, covered in green, spoke up. "The name's Loki."
"I think I heard that name somewhere." Excalibur spoke up.
"Not surprised there. I learned soon after I woke up that I am named after a mythological figure. I heard I wasn't the only one too."
'So what can you do?" Excalibur asked.
"I got plenty of tricks." Loki said cunningly. "For one, I can turn invisible." Loki said as he disappears from sight.
"Two, make holographic copies of myself." Loki suddenly appeared from seemingly nowhere.
Excalibur stared at Loki.
"Try hitting it." Loki said.
"You sure?" Excalibur hesitated.
"Go on." Loki said kindly.
As Excalibur lashed out his fist, he soon felt pain followed by a clanging sound. Excalibur grasped his hands tightly.
"Hahaha." Loki laughed loudly. "Sorry, I just couldn't resist it." Excalibur found himself standing face to face with a wall, with two Lokis behind him.
"Loki, my ship!" Mag shouted.
Loki quickly apologized to Mag, while the other two just watch.
"Ya, he can be quite the trickster." Volt explained. "He can switch the positions of things with himself."
Volt walked up to the other Loki and hit it. A sound could be heard, but the Loki stood firm. "He can create copies of himself, distract attention, disappear after a few hits though."
Excalibur then remembered something.
"Were you the one who helped me in the chamber?" He said to Loki.
Mag was still strangling Loki, who nodded his head.
"You are welcome."
"So that's how the Grinner got stabbed all of a sudden. Wait, how did you make them throw their guns away?"
"Well, I would need to borrow Mr Volt and his gun if you want me to demonstrate."
"Ya, fuck you, Loki." Volt said kindly.
"Rhino?" Loki turned to Rhino, who also said no, in a less extreme manner.
"It's not pleasant getting disarmed by Loki," Rhino said.
"Well, there you have it. No magic trick, then." Loki said, with him out of Mag's grip.
'What about you, Excalibur?" Volt asked. "We shown you our cards, show us yours."
Excalibur collected his breath."I can blind people with bright light, I don't think you guys would want me to demonstrate that."
"Not really," Loki said. "What else?"
Excalibur focused his energy and materialized some spears.
"That looks good, but I remember there's more." Loki said.
Excalibur dematerialized his spears and put his hands on his left hip. A scorching hot light converged and a sword, made of light, materialized.
"That's… actually pretty lame." Loki said, stinging Excalibur.
"I mean, I got a magic sword myself, as for the spear, a gun does sound better, and easier." Loki said as he drew a dagger and a pistol.
Mag spoke up "I would disagree, Loki."
"You and Volt both saw how he can kill Grinners with such ease using those spears. His sword has cut every single Grinner in his path in half, which demonstrates its power." Mag said.
Both Rhino and Volt agreed with Mag.
"I suppose you all know each other now." A female voice spoke up, a voice Excalibur recognizes.
A screen popped up, a woman with her eyes covered appeared on it.
"My name is Lotus, and I serve as a guide to the Tenno. I was the one who woke all of you up from your slumber."
"Slumber?" Excalibur said curiously.
Loki let out a sigh. "It's a very long story. I doubt you would be interested in a history lesson."
Excalibur gave it a thought.
"Maybe just the basics."
Lotus let out a kind smile. "Before that, there is one more you should meet."
Another screen popped up, a blue rectangular figure showed up.
"I am so pissed off-happy that there is a new Operator joining us." The voice spoke with a sudden tone change in the middle.
"I am Cephalon Ordis, and I am here to take care of the needs of my Operators. You can call me Ordis for short."
"So, you are an AI?" Excalibur asked.
Loki chuckled.
"Ya, we all assumed that at first." Volt said.
"Oh, I am more than that!" Ordis said. "We Cephalons are a highly intelligent being that exists in an alternate space. We possess no material body and we can travel to and stay in various devices. We can serve many functions. For me, my life goal is to serve my Operators, and make sure that their daily needs are taken care of, so that they can focus on cutting down- protecting the system."
"Okay, okay, enough lectures." Loki spoke up.
"Yes, Operator Loki." Ordis replied.
"Indeed," Lotus spoke up. "Instead of the past, it is better we focus on what we shall do next."
