Chapter 1: Entrance Exams

Up at top of The Plexis Tower, The Head Commissioner: Roma Goodworth was silently viewing the duels.

Down at the dueling field, Lone looked like he was in a very tight situation, only having 100 Lifepoints while as the Test Proctor had 1600 Lifepoints left. It was Lone's turn and he managed to wipe out the opponents monster that battlephase ;however, he no longer can attack having to pass his turn on... Unless...

LONE: 100 LIFEPOINTS VS. TEST PROCTOR: 0 LIFEPOINTS

GAME OVER, WINNER: LONE!

Fey immediately stood up and looked into the Arena, seeing that Lone had just beaten the Test Proctor and became the first student to Enroll into the Strife Academy. The Test Proctor looked completely destroyed as Lone, the usual timid boy, stepped out of the Arena and into the Hallway.

"Good Job Lone!" Fey was trying to look Cheerful, forgetting that Snarky Grin he gave her moments before her duel.

"T-Thanks..." Lone showing that he had an extremely rough time in that duel. "I guess I am glad I was able to enroll into Strife Academy." Lone walked off, giving another snarky grin to Fey once more, paralyzing her with fear.

"W-what is this...?" She wonders. "Why am I afraid of that shy boy?" Her hands were shaking a lot, she could not move her body at all, and the duels continued on.

Meanwhile... up at the top, Goodworth examined the next duelists. "For Number 69... I will be dueling her instead..." The head commissioner of the SAT grabbed his deck.

"B-But sir, these are just Entrance Exams, we can't have you have duel someone, they wouldn't even be able to get in!" The proctor insisted that Goodworth shouldn't partake in Exam Duels.

"HMPH!" He threw a card to let the proctors know he was angry. "That is precisely my point as to why I will be dueling, to make things more interesting... after all, you all suck at your jobs." Goodworth honestly speaks to his workers as he heads out of his office and down to the Arena.

"GAH!" The test proctors were able to eliminate the three duelists that went before Fey. "Ooh, what a shame..." Goodworth said to himself as he entered in the Arena with his personal deck and Duel Disk. "It would honestly suck if... the next duelist were to duel me." Goodworth gave a huge grin as he went up to the dueling field.

"Number 69, come out for your Exam!" One of the test proctors yelled, and Fey immediately ran out to see The Head Commissioner on the field. "Huh?" She wondered to herself. "Where is my Test Proctor?"

"Fool, don't you see that I am your opponent for this match?!" Goodworth exerted his pressure towards Fey, intimidating her quite a bit.

"...Th-That isn't fair!" She argues.

"Life isn't fair Number 69, now are we going to duel or what?" Goodworth activated his Duel Disk, signaling that he was indeed ready to begin the duel. The Test Proctor was a bit hesitant to start the duel, but decided to let it go anyway. "Let the Duel Begin!" He shouted.

"Duel!" Both Goodworth and Fey shouted in unison.

"Hmph, I will take the first turn!" Goodworth drew his card. "I will then activate the spell card known as The Supply Box!" Suddenly, a giant box appeared onto the field with many necessities inside of it. "Now with The Supply Box...this allows me to discard one monster from my hand to then Summon another monster from my hand, but I cannot attack the turn I summon it." Goodworth discarded a weak monster. "Now, Arise and Destroy my ultimate monster, I summon The Flaming Mozambique!"

THE FLAMING MOZAMBIQUE: LEVEL 8, 3000/2500

A Giant from the molten lava and Volcanic ashes rose onto the dueling field, being the most powerful monster that Goodworth owns.

"Mozambique's effect, targeting my monster I have in my Graveyard, My Volcanic Slicer and you take damage equal to Half its Attack points!"

FEY: 4000 to 3100 Lifepoints.

"A Burn deck huh? Such a cheap strategy..."

Goodworth had set two cards facedown ending his turn.

"Alright my turn, I draw!"

"I will summon, Steampunk Captain!"

STEAMPUNK CAPTAIN: LEVEL 4, 1500/1000

"Captain's effect, allows me to change its position to defense position and then special summon from my hand... Steampunk Maiden!"

STEAMPUNK MAIDEN: LEVEL 3, 1000/0

"Now then I activate the spell card from my hand known as Polymerization, to fuse my Steampunk Captain and my Steampunk Maiden together!" Captain and Maiden started to rise and then fused together. "I Fusion Summon!" Fey shouts clapping. "Gearbarret Dragon!"

GEARBARRET DRAGON: LEVEL 7, 2300/1500

Goodworth looked at the gigantic dragon made of gears, but wasn't intimidated at the slightest. "Is that all you got, or are you really wanting to lose right here and now?"

"Oh no, I then activate the field spell known as Steampunk Exhibition!"

"Now with Steampunk Exhibiton,Gearbarret will attack your The Flaming Mozambique!"

Goodworth laughed. "My Mozambique has a Higher attack than your Dragon, you must be so foolish to attack it!"

Fey smiles as Gearbarret had destroyed the Flaming Mozambique.

GOODWORTH: 4000 to 3700 Lifepoints.

"Nani, how did your monster attack my Monster!"

Fey walked out of the smoke, and pointed to her field spell. "With Steampunk Exhibition, any 'Gear' or 'Steampunk' monster I control gains 500 Attack points for each 'Gear' or 'Steampunk' monster I have in my hand, and since I have two... Gearbarret then gains a whopping 1000 attack points, making it enough to destroy your monster!"

"Whatever, my facedown trap card activates known as Aftershock, when a monster of mine is destroyed, both players take damage equal to its ATK!"

FEY: 3100 to 100 Lifepoints.
Goodworth: 3700 to 700 Lifepoints.

"Heh, when it is my turn I will finish you off!"

Fey shakes her head. "Oh no you won't!" She rose a card in the air and it shined. "End Phase!" Fey declares as she tributes her Gearbarret to summon another Monster.

"NANI, A MONSTER SUMMON DURING THE ENDPHASE?!"

"I Finisher Summon!"

Next Time on Yu-Gi-Oh! Ynominas

"F-F-F-F-Finisher Summon?! Finisher what?!"

"You heard me, during the Endphase of my turn when my opponent controls no monsters, I have less than 1000 Lifepoints, and my opponent has less than 2000, by removing all monsters on my field I can End this Duel with my Finisher Monster!"

Fey had just began her new journey to enroll in her dream school: Strife Academy of Triumph or the SAT for short in order to pursue her dream of becoming one of the greatest duelists to ever step-foot in Luminous City. However things don't go very easy as the Head Commissioner of Strife Academy: Roma Goodworth, steps in to challenge Fey to her Exam Duel making it extremely unfair. The duel becomes extremely heated as Fey barely survives with only 100 Lifepoints left while Goodworth has only 700. Will Fey be able to pull through Goodworth's Extreme Heavy burn deck? What is this so called 'Finisher' Monster she just summoned?

Chapter 1: Entrance Exams END

Authors Note: Hopefully you enjoy this Fanfiction I wrote. I know I was gone for almost 3 years, but I decided to come back and write this all for a good friend of mine. I know the summoning method is a bit of a rip-off and stupid, but I just think it adds more to the suspense and dramatic scenes during duels. Thank you all for taking the time to read!
