April pressed the doorbell and let out a slight shiver. The soft snow hit her nose as she held in a sneeze. Jackson let out a slight laugh and hasn't been able to wipe the grin off his face ever since they got the news.
He even got a multiple copies of the ultra sound, one to hang up on the fridge, another for his wallet and some for their families.
April's been happy but overwhelmed by the news, she's definitely grateful .
Meredith opened the door with a smile on her face and let the couple in.
"Hey, It's the Averys!" Mark said as he greets the trauma and plastic surgeon.
All of their close friends had come over.
"Hey, Uncle Jack!" Zola greeted the green eyed man as she hugged his knees.
"Hey, Zozo." Jackson smiled as Zola hugged April.
"Hi, Aunt Apes." Zola giggles.
"Hi," April replies, a soft smile covering her features.
...
"Wine?" Arizona offers her friend.
"Oh No thanks," April turned down the alcoholic drink.
"What are you pregnant or something?" Arizona joked.
April didn't reply and looked at her husband who noticed the expression on her face.
April let out an awkward laugh.
Arizona's eye widened as she looks at her friend as a huge smile covers her features.
"Oh my god!" Arizona squeals happily as she wraps her friend in a hug.
April lets out a slight laugh.
"How far along?" Arizona asks.
"Almost 13 weeks..with twins." April muttered.
"Oh my gosh," Arizona smiled.
After pulling away Arizona looked at her friend, holding in her all her excitement.
Before April could say anything everyone had already heard Arizona's squeal and had been listening from the start.
Lexie has a huge grin on her face along with Mark.
"I call dibs on the names." Mark said quickly with a smirk.
...
Now, nearly four months into her pregnancy, her stomach is a lot more noticeable, she doesn't puke everything she eats all the time anymore, she's sleeps a lot and always has to pee which Jackson finds amusing.
Catherine, Karen and Joe now know about the pregnancy and are extremely excited about having their grandchildren. Karen and Catherine agreed to attempt to get along despite their vast differences.
April was comfortably lounged on the couch and waiting for her husband to come home.
She heard the door unlock as he stepped into the apartment.
"Hi," he greets as he placed a kiss on her lips.
"Hi..." April replies.
"How was your day?" He asked as he set his bag down and sat on the other side of the couch.
"It was fine...I have to wear the scrub pants with the elastic waistband." April groaned.
Jackson let out a chuckle.
"It's not funny...Imagine carrying two bowling balls in your stomach." April retorts.
Jackson placed a kiss on her forehead and another on her stomach.
They ordered some Chinese takeout and called it a night.
