Waking up shouldn't hurt

But damn it did today.

Her head pounded and her mind felt it was trying to pull itself to the surface of consciousness. The Luthor's legs were kicked out in front of her and thankfully not tied to the chair she was seemingly just tossed onto.

Lena, keeping her eyes closed, slowly started to listen to wherever she was. The buzz of fluorescents lights being the loudest thing she could make out. There's water slowly dripping somewhere. She almost lazily opens her eyes just enough to see out of. The lights are dim and she looks at everything she can with moving her head. The concrete floor was discolored and cracked under her feet, off to the right was a shallow puddle. The little bit of wall she could see showed peeling paint and broken, dirty brick below. With how her head was slumped down she couldn't see far to the left but it didn't take a genius to realize that she was in some type of old jail cell or interrogation room, the space being too small to be a warehouse.

The young Luthor, slowly flexed her hands and moved her hands just enough to see that her hands were handcuffed behind her back but she still had feeling in them. Her body ached where the kidnapper landed punches during their scuffle but she didn't feel any new or worst injuries. They had to have sedated her at some time, probably if they noticed her waking up too early but before she really came to, as she feels almost sluggish.

Just then, the door opened and 4 armed guards, dressed in what looked like military uniforms, walked in and stood in each corner of the room. Then an older, stern looking man in a full dress uniform walked in after, followed closely by Lex Luthor himself. Lena wasn't surprised he was out of prison, more interested in what exactly he was doing here of all places, he wasn't one to get his hands dirty. She was more hands on then any Luthor when it came down to it.

"You can stop now, I know you're up, you always handled sedation better then you really should." Lex said almost laughingly.

Quickly Lena snapped up best she could, Back straighting out and head held high now as she looked her brother in the eye.

"Yeah well, the body can get used to many things Lexi. Quicker if the family keeps trying to kill you." Lena smirked at her brother but held no real humor in her eyes. She knew she was walking on thin ice and didn't have the upperhand.

Chuckling lowely, Lex shook his head and finally looked back at her.

"No killing today Lena...well no killing planned for today. The choice is really up to you. I actually want to try and make up for some of the...bad blood between us." Lex walked closer and stood right in front of Lena.

Looking up at her brother, Lena raised an eyebrow, seriously thrown over how Lex was starting to go about this.

"Make up for bad blood? By kidnapping and tying me to a chair, in what, I'm assuming, is another country? Sounds fake but I guess I have to hear you out huh?" Lena shrugged as best she could with her hands tied behind her chair.

Lex, smiling, nodded his head quickly, like he was agreeing with how nice the weather was.

"That you do, dear sister, but don't worry this can benefit you as well. See, I've been working on a lil project and I would really like your help on it. Two minds are better than one, right?"

Lena was more than a little taken back by that. Luthor's, but especially Lex, don't give compliments or ask for help easily and that was probably one of the highest he had ever given her. She hated to admit it but it did stroke her ego more than it should.

Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, Lena rolled her neck out a little and looked back at him. She knew it wasn't going to be any type of good work, knew she really didn't have much of a choice, and also knew her best bet was to join him, even for a short time, to give her a better chance of either getting away or even bringing down the project.

"...What's the project, brother?"

Lex smiled like the cheshire cat before quickly jumping into his explanation.
