"Would you like to meet the rest of the group?" Dot politely asked. Darla nodded.
"I'm Audrey, the leader!" Audrey said. She was the girl with red pigtails.
"I'm Lulu!" Said a girl with dark brown curls and a red dress.
"And I'm Kelly, sister of Barbie Roberts!" Kelly smiled.
"And your name is Darla, right?" Audrey asked.
"Yes...but I know I'm not allowed in the club." Darla frowned. The members of the club all huddled together and started whispering things. Darla wanted to know what they were saying.
"We have something to say." Lotta announced. "We will let you join!"
Darla beamed with excitement once she heard she was in. "But only for one day. Your nickname is not little Darla." Dot said.
"That's fine. As long as I get to be in the club." Darla smiled. "I want to know what being a member is like."
"Well...you're popular, but not mean...you always help people...and you have to be famous at some point and everyone calls you 'little'." Lulu explained.
"Wanna know something? I was famous at one point! I'm Darla Dimple!" Darla said.
"You? We are big fans of you!" The girls gasped.
"I am also a big fan, so for this one day I will let you be the leader of our club." Audrey smiled. Darla could not believe what she was hearing. She was now the leader of a club she just joined.
