Super Sons: Found Family

Chapter 2: Earth

Wayne Manor

Gotham City

9:52 AM

Jon yawned and got dressed. He put on a Blue Superman T-Shirt and Jeans. He then proceeded to walk down the stairs and into the second, smaller Kitchen that Damian fancied the most. It had simple marble floors with granite countertops. Jon saw Damian Sitting and reading a newspaper while drinking coffee. He was dressed in a Grey Hoodie and Jeans. Jon was a bit perplexed, Damian almost never dressed casually. Alfred was washing dishes and paid no mind when Jon walked in the room.

"Good Morning, Damian." said Jon joyfully.

"Morning." replied Damian.

Jon sat on a stool next to Damian and looked over at him.

"What do you wanna do today?" asked Jon.

"I don't really know." replied Damian.

Damian didn't even look up as Jon was talking to him, something Jon didn't really like.

"You wanna go out to the Mall or something, maybe go to the Park?" said Jon.

"I would like that." replied Damian.

"Great. When would you like to go?" said Jon.

"Maybe about 12 or so, we could get lunch?" replied Damian.

"Sounds amazing." said Jon.

"Master Kent, would you like some breakfast?" said Alfred.

"Yes Please." replied Jon.

"What would you like?" said Alfred.

"Whatever's easiest for you, sir." replied Jon.

Damian and Jon sat and talked as they ate breakfast together. It seemed as though Jon would be staying with the Waynes for quite a few weeks, as it turned out, The League was on a very lengthy and dangerous Space mission, while Lois had to stay at work longer due to a very scandalous story about the President she had to cover.

Jon loved the small moments he had with Damian. Whether it was a meal or just a few words, Jon was almost always feeling his best when around Damian. It always seemed no matter what happened or how it may seem, Jon always knew how Damian truly felt about things. In this time, he hoped that was still true. Due to the fact he had finally accepted his feelings for his best friend, it had brought a whole new level to their relationship, and how Jon perceived Damian and his actions. He was nervous that he would sabotage his friendship if Damian didn't feel the same towards him, but also it seemed the risk could be worth it. If Damian truly loved him back, imagine how much happier he could make Damian? Imagine how much they could do together? All these questions kept Jon constantly conflicted about how he should confess his feelings.

Damian and Jon finished Breakfast, and walked through Wayne Manor.

"Do you want to help me with an Art Project I'm working on?" asked Damian.

"Sure!" replied Jon enthusiastically.

Damian reached and grabbed Jon's hand, and led him towards the spacious living room. Jon's heart meanwhile, felt as if it had exploded. Damian willingly held hands with him? Jon thought he must have been in a dream. This little gesture made Jon feel even better, about their Relationship, about everything. But what if he was wrong? What would happen then? Would they stop being friends? Could Damian forgive him? Jon hoped he wasn't misreading this situation. He could never bear the thought of not having Damian in his life, especially now. It was too painful for him to even conceive. Damian meant so much to him, he couldn't even articulate it into words.

Damian let go of his hand, and sat on the floor in front of the coffee table, which had an abundance of art supplies sprawled across it.

"Sit on the other side of the table, and I'll tell you what I need you to do." said Damian.

"Pfff, as if." thought Jon.

Jon then sat behind Damian, and began to hug him from behind. He nuzzled his head right into Damian's neck. Damian could feel Jon's messy hair breeze against his neck. He then attempted to resist.

"Jon…." whined Damian

"You know you can't escape this, I'm Half Kryptonian, remember?" replied Jon smugly.

Jon grinned and watched as Damian began to draw. Jon loved how skilled Damian was. He was great in Art, Academics, probably even many more things he didn;t even know about. Jon just adored Damian, more than he could ever realize. He loved just about everything about his Best Friend.

Alfred walked into the room with a glass tray and dropped it the moment he saw what was going on. From Jon's perspective, it looked as if he nearly had a heart attack.

"Would you like anything Sirs?"

"No thank you, Alfred!" Jon said happily.

Damian blushed harder than he had ever in his life.

"I will get him for this." Damian thought.

"No thank you Alfred." Damian said quietly.

Alfred turned and walked away. He was extremely happy for Damian. He deserved someone as bright and loving as Jon. If anything, he had been hoping this would happen for a long time.

"Kent?" said Damian.

Jon braced himself, he was intimidated by Damian's very Serious tone.

"Off." said Damian.

Usually this would Stop Jon in his tracks, but this was different. Jon was bold. He was going to try something dangerous, and it was not exactly what Damian was expecting.

Jon pulled Damian closer, and began to give him small but long kisses on the neck. Damian winced, he hadn't felt something quite like this in his entire life. He had never been intimate with someone like this. This new feeling enveloped Damian and made his senses go wild.

Jon grinned and continued. He could tell Damian was enjoying this.

"Jon?" Damian said quietly.

"Yeah? Is everything ok?" replied Jon worriedly.

"It's time to go." said Damian.

"Ok." replied Jon sweetly.

The way Jon spoke to him just gave Damian butterflies. He couldn't really understand why. He couldn't even function when Jon was intimate with him, it made his heart beat ten times faster. It may seem as though Damian was very against this contact, secretly he loved it. Jon knew that for a fact.

Jon got up and fixed his glasses. Damian got up as well and stared at Jon for a moment angrily. Jon just smiled. This was everything to him.

Damian couldn't stay mad while Jon gazed at him all dreamy like that. He gathered his phone and wallet, and the two of them departed towards the Ferry, which would take them over the bay and over to Metropolis. Damian leaned over the rail next to Jon, and gazed out over the beautiful water. Jon looked at Damian. He thought his Friend looked extremely attractive, especially when he was smiling. Jon savored this quiet moment between them. He would never forget these small moments, they meant too much to him.

Damian and Jon enjoyed their time in Metropolis. Jon showed him all his favorite spots and attractions. Metropolis was a complete breath of fresh air for Damian. Gotham was dark and gloomy, while Metropolis was bright and optimistic, it reminded him of Jon. In a way, both of them were reflections of their Cities and environments. It was a splendid day, the two greatly relished each other's company. The greatest thing in the world to Jon, was just to be able to spend quality time with Damian. No Hero stuff, no fighting, none of that. He cherished the time he got with the REAL Damian. The one who let him cuddle on Cold nights, the one who laughs and jokes, and isn't afraid to be himself. He cherished Damian, not Robin. Although he thought both were pretty cool.

They got lunch, and were now sitting on a park bench under some shade. It was a sweet and Peaceful moment, one of the things that Damian didn't have often.

"Today has been really fun." said Jon.

"It has. Thank You for bringing me." replied Damian sincerely.

Jon smiled and hugged his friend, who returned the favor. Jon was such a sincere person, someone who would never lie or manipulate you, he would never fake anything. He could depend on Jon, that was just one of the many reasons he loved him.

They parted, and resumed eating. They chatted about random things, such as school and the differences in Culture between their two cities. Jon thought of the two of them as complete opposites, two sides of the same coin. That's why they were so good together. They completed each other perfectly. Jon couldn't think of anyone he trusted or loved as much as Damian.

Jon never really questioned his sexuality. It sort of seemed unnecessary when he just thought about it. He loved Damian, and he couldn't think of anyone or anything else that he could love like he did with Damian.

All Jon wanted to know was just how Damian felt about him. Did he love Jon just as much as he loved Damian? This question was the most important one he had had in a long time.
