A/N: I only own the OC

Thank you for the reviews!

I hadn't seen Roman for a few days, but he had texted me everyday. He had stayed over at Dad's until almost midnight, and I was glad that Dad liked having him around. My brother had passed a few years ago, so it was nice for him to have that connection again. I was in the back when I heard the bell ring and I knew that someone had just come in. I had just sent Lacey home for the day so I knew I had to get out there.

"Good afternoon." I said as I walked out and came face to face with the huge guy. He was easily larger than Roman. I looked up at him and he smiled at me.

"Hi, I had some of your macaroons the other day at a friends, and wanted to get some." he said and I smiled at him.

"Yeah, I have some in the case, but that's all I have made for the day. I do have other pastries." I said as I motioned to them. He ended up taking all my macaroons, some walnut cookies, and a few croissants.

"Roman said you were a good chef." he said as he paid and I smirked.

"Thank you, and I hope you come back." I said and he chuckled.

"I will be. It's my newest addiction." he said and I smiled at him.

"I'm Adam... I'm sure you will see me again." he said as he started to leave.

"I'm Mary, and I look forward to it." I said and he chuckled as he left. I closed up a little bit later and headed to my Dad's. I was cooking dinner for us tonight. I usually cooked for him a few nights a week. He liked to grill every Friday night, and it had become our tradition. We didn't have much family left. I pulled up and saw Roman's house had a lot of cars in the driveway. I didn't think anything about it as I went inside.

"Dad?" I called out and didn't hear anything. I walked into the kitchen and saw him talking to Roman and some other guy sitting in the backyard. I put the stuff I had brought away, and walked out there with a new beer for Dad.

"Ah, Mary, glad you made it. I was just telling Roman and his friend some old war stories." he said and I chuckled as I swapped his beers and hugged him.

"Don't let him bore you too much." I said and he chuckled.

"I'm getting another beer... you guys?" I asked them and they nodded.

"I will help you." Roman said and I smirked at him as he followed me inside.

"I hope you don't mind I came over. He was getting the mail and he invited us over." he said and I waved it off as I handed him two beers.

"Nah, I don't mind it." I said and he smiled at me.

"I'm glad." he said as we started back outside.

"Thanks for sending me business... Adam was nice." I said and he chuckled.

"He better have been. I'm sure he won't be the only one stopping by." he said and I nodded.

"I guess I will have to give you some free macaroons for all your help." I said as we walked to the door.

"I will settle for a date." he said and I looked at him in surprise.

"And here I thought you liked hanging out with my Dad." I said as I went to grab the door knob, but Roman stepped in front of me. I was about to say something when he cut me off with a kiss. I was surprised, but found myself leaning into the kiss. He pulled away and I bit my lip as I looked at him.

"I do like your Dad, but I like you more." he said before he opened the door and walked out. I followed him with a smirk.

A few days later...

"I can't believe that you are going on a date. He is coming to pick you up?" Lacey said and I chuckled as I nodded.

"Why? It's not been that long since I have dated anyone." I said and she chuckled. I had told her about my ex, Daniel, and how bad that went.

"I'm just glad that you moved on from that ex of yours." she said and I chuckled.

"Me too, and Roman seems nice." I said and she nodded. I got ready to say something when someone walked in the door, and we both looked up to see Roman coming into the shop.

"Good afternoon!" Lacey said and I smirked.

"Hi, how are you?" he asked her as he smiled at me.

"What can I get you?" she asked him.

"Her." he said and I was chuckling as Lacey looked at me surprised.

"Lacey, this is Roman... Roman, this is Lacey." I said and she looked at me surprised.

"Well, have fun." Lacey said as I grabbed my things and Roman smiled at her.

I walked out and got in his SUV. I had no idea what we were going to do, but I was ready for some fun.

"I hope you like Sushi." he said and I nodded.

"Up for anything." I said as he smiled at me.

I had fun with Roman, we tried many different types of sushi, talked about everything, and ended up getting ice cream. He was easy to talk to, and fun to be around. He told me about his kids, and was surprised when that didn't send me running. I didn't want to end the date, but he had to be somewhere tonight as he took my back to the shop so I could get my car. He pulled up and looked at me.

"I had fun, can we do this again?" he asked me and I smiled at him.

"Yeah, like an actual date, or are you just going to keep crashing dinners at my Dad's?" I asked him and he chuckled. He leaned in and I did the same as his lips pressed against mine. I put my hand on his cheek as he ran his hand to my neck to keep me in place. I moaned as his tongue slipped past my lips and he pulled me into his lap. I gasped in shock as his chest rumbled with a chuckle.

"I do have to go." he said as he pulled away from the kiss.

"Hmm... oh yeah." I said with a smirk and he kissed me again.

"Dinner tomorrow night?" he asked me.

"Dad is grilling tonight." I said and he smirked as he kissed my forehead.

"Have fun doing whatever." I said as I got back into my seat to leave.

"Going to work out... I did eat ice cream." he said and I nodded. We kissed a few more times before I finally got out. I went into the shop to make sure Lacey didn't need help closing up and she almost met me at the door.

"DO YOU KNOW WHO HE IS?" she asked me in an excited tone and I was surprised by her question.

"Um... a really sexy guy that seems interested in me?" I asked her and she was really excited about her information. She help her phone up and I was now looking at a picture of a wrestling poster... and there was Roman in the center.

"Oh..." I said and Lacey looked very excited.

"You recognized him?" I asked her and she nodded.

"So much for a simple relationship." I said.
