Chapter-2 Mutation and Forest of Time
A.N: Hello everybody! In previous chapter I wanted the reader to imagine themselves in main character but now I will just say the characteristics of main character.
Un identical twins. Blonde hair inherited from mother. Around 5'5-5'8. Age-17. Joined the association when they were 16.

'Cool Breeze is amazing. I will probably not be able to experience something so nice for quite some considering we are going to do a dangerous mission...Issac is also irritated considering Sir:Aron is not participating in something this important. Weavile has been acting weirdly since yesterday. They say Weavile's have amazing senses. So, it is likely that it sensed something bad. Issac's Espeon took us here. It sensed the energy of Sun. I thought that made no sense but...
"Hey! Dodge that!" Issac screamed as I was dumbstruck standing. We dodged that. As the mighty bird falls down. It was Ho-Oh. They say Ho-Oh descended from Sun to earth. I did not predict this.
"Akira! What were you doing watching it fall on you head? I wish you broke a bone or two." Issac was annoyed cause I was doing nothing but stare. But the surprising thing was that Ho-oh was injured.
"Should we take it to Pokemon centre?" I said but it was obvious. We cannot possibly take the bird to pokemon centre.
Issac was just as surprised as me. If there is something we should do, we should call Rangers. But just then we heard a sound.
"Where did you run away? It's useless, Ho-Oh."
"Shh... We should hide somewhere.
We hid somewhere in the large cave as I called Rangers for help.
"Gengar, attack when he comes near." Issac said. We thought this strategy would work. But that was just until that man in hood, wearing a mask came out of the grassy area. He was the same man as the Village elder described. Gengar wanted to attack but just as it sensed the enormous energy coming out of his pokeball it shuddered. 'He is the owner of the Dark Lugia.' Issac whispered as his complexion paled in the sheer pressure. The 'aura' exerted by this man standing there was way too huge compared to the division commander. I had to make sure me gulping my saliva wasn't heard throat. 'We should remain in the hiding' this was the only this that came to my mind.
"Alakazam, use your sensory perception to find Ho-oh."
The Alakazam itself was strong, very strong. The saving grace was the fact that Gengar being a ghost type was able to block the psywaves.
The masked man did not take into consideration that, other humans with pokemon could have helped the Legendary bird.
"Hmm. I swear I saw it escaping around this location. Even then for Alakazam to not be able to sense such a huge power? A dark type could only secrete its protective harmons on itself. Is it a Ghost? No way! And even if there was a Ghost type here it can't really be Intelligent enough to help Ho-oh in such a way." He turned his back and we thought he was about to leave. But. "Ursaring, search every corner of this Cave. Inform me if you find clues about Ho-Oh." The man ordered as a Ursaring was in view. But that cannot be an Ursaring can it? It was dark, as if it was more of a dark type than dark types them self.
As that man was going to leave he said few words in a radio communicator- "Division 2 is going near Manaphy while Division 3 will take care of Celebi and its forest in Johto. I will personally go to Unova"
I received a message that rangers have arrived at nearest city to the cave.
That scary man left. I and Issac got on Noivern and Staraptor respectively and took flew to the nearest city. But before we did that, Issac's Gengar used taunt on the Ursaring, which started following us. And we eventually reached the city, which had many rangers in it. The beast had no place to run and was surrounded. But it was then that I realized the mistake we did. Bringing this berserk Pokemon to city was a mistake.
It took nearly an hour to bring it down. Dante was supposed to be here but he wasn't. No one died but many got wounded and three were in critical situation. Because of me...
We captured it and took it to laboratory, where hundreds of researchers came to observe this mutated pokemon. It was not a Regional variant, that was for sure. It, itself was not offensive threat but was rather difficult to take down. That was because it had high H.P. It was easily more than a Blissey.

In the lab
Issac and I have come here to witness this Pokemon's secret.
"This is a top priority test subject. We cannot make a mess of this. So, we have only chosen few people to visit the laboratory." The main Professor of Signetta, Professor Beech explained the reason for only few people to visit this laboratory.
"You should feel proud of yourself for getting this opportunity." Diana, a scientist and a member of Elite four said. She added,
"We also have a special guest."
That was when Issac and I felt the presence. It was Sir, Christopher Aron.
"Now, Now, no need of formalities. I couldn't possibly miss an opportunity to see an experiment on mutant pokemon. Right, Diana?"
"Okay, stop the drama right now."
Diana leaves while saying that. She did not really like Aron. When she was a trainer, she always felt like Aron was an un climbable mountain. They were sort of Rivals.

(5 hours later)
"Issac and Akira, we are starting the experiment."
"Who is this man?" Akira asked
"Are you serious?" Issac and Beech said at the same time.
"I am Professor Rowan." That man said. I started feeling stupid, considering this man is as popular as Professor Oak himself.
"Professor Rowan has come here to analyse this unique 'evolution' in this Ursaring." Diana continued, "I was against this dangerous experiment, but it seems like we will have to do it to understand this."
"I am glad to see you all." Rowan continued, "I have never seen such 'evolution' in pokemon. This is intriguing to me, considering that I study evolution and have never seen something like this."
"These two are the ones who caught this beast." Beech said.
Rowan approached us as we explained everything.
"A person summoned it... Interesting."
An assistant reached Rowan
"Ah! She has arrived you say."
"Who?" Diana asked as she saw a women coming near them.
"Why is Professor Juniper here? Beech asked.
"She says that she could help in researching the Origins of the 'dark' energy in DNA." As Rowan said, Juniper continued,
"We believe it's 'dark' energy has been injected in its DNA. I was able to spot a certain pattern in the DNA. A vulnerability if you were to ask me. We could attack and remove the 'dark' energy with specialized Ionized radio waves if I am correct. This may cause it to return to the original form." Juniper completed her explanation.
"This process must be carried with extreme care, to not kill the Pokemon with it." Diana warned.
"And neither do we want to unchain it while attacking the DNA vulnerability." Beech said.
"Don't worry you two... This glass can take 5 mega joules of energy. 10 kilo grams of TNT is barely going to scratch this. This is specifically made to hold Pokemons." A worker who played part in making this glass reassured them.
Aron listened to everything silently, so much so that everybody forgot about him. They went close to the glass as they started the experiment.
"Let's start the experiment!" Beech announced as system was switched on.
Energy being sent. High Power Fluctuation observed. Power is being stabilized.
"Yes! This will be successful!" Beech screamed in happiness but Aron was seeing it dis-interested. As if he knew the result.
Energy stabilized... Intense energy detected. Energy being stabilized...
Energy spike too high. Destabilizing.
"We should stop the experiment!" Diana shouted. But Rowan did not want to stop after coming this close.
"Decrease the bombardment of power. Restrain it and put it to sleep." He said.
Bzzt...Bzzt...Bzzt... Energy increasing. 40 megajoules... 50 megajoules... 60 mega joules.
"Oh my god... What in the name of Arceus is this?"
70 mega joules...Emergency... Un restrainabe. Get away. Protective system activated.
"That is more than 70 kilo of TNT. Everybody! Run!" Beech shouted as everybody distanced themselves from the glass.
(Explosion)
"NO! Everything has been destroyed!" The workers started shouting in panic. Just then Aron gets up. "You cannot solve everything with Science. And also there seems to be a crystal left out from the exploded experiment."
They went to find out the crystal. That was when they saw a dark crystal left out from the explosion.
"Pokemons themselves are beings not bound by scientific rules. Am I not correct? Diana?"
Diana left the room frustrated. The Ursaring had been completely destroyed to its molecular structure. That experiment went very badly. But we also had to go catch the flight. We wanted to ask Aron about Dante, but he left before I remembered the question. And also why he was not participating when he was free.

(Near the Airport)
"You sure not informing about Ho-Oh is ok" I asked Issac. He replied saying,
"Ho-Oh seems to be important for what, 'Team Azoth' is doing. If information is leaked about Ho-Oh they may chase it again. I mean Ho-Oh did give us the gifts."
"Hey now... Good bye. Best of luck."
"Bye." he said it quickly.
"Nothing more than that?" I asked
"Duh! I mean I am facing Division 2 and your facing 3. I am the one who needs luck.
"That's arrogant. So much like you. May I ask you who told you 3rd division is stronger than 2nd? "
"Isn't it obvious? I mean intuition says smaller number is stronger. At least for me."
I mean his intuition as rarely been wrong, if ever it has been. "Well, Well. I will be taking my leave."
"You both! The time has come. Aeroplanes have arrived." Aria shouted.
Aria is a good women. She is in the same Section as me and is at least twice as experienced as me in crime department. We quickly became friends after meeting and even did some missions together. She does not know, but I think of her as a big sister. She is 20 years, black haired female.
We were finally going to the respective regions we were assigned to. As we were going to have to work without the help of each other, Issac and I said our good byes.

(In Aeroplane station of Johto, sub sector of Olivine city)
"We have arrived! Feels good to be able to move so freely after traveling for such a long time" I said this because a journey from Signetta region to Johto takes a long time. Signetta is a region neighboring Azure region. Aron, the deputy president of Association is the Champion of this Region so nt many teams try to harm it. As I was lost in thoughts, I heard a voice calling for me.
"Hey! Akira nice to meet you after such a long time. What brings you here?"
The one who spoke to me was none other than Olivine City's Gym Leader, Jasmine. I forgot to mention that me and my brother did a Johto gym challenge. I did pretty good and was good enough to reach the league. Too bad I faced Lance in one of the rounds. I mean, you can't say I did bad. I'm a pretty strong trainer you know.
"Well you know detective stuff. It's not easy to be part of association. "
"Ha-ha-ha. Is there a crime committed in Johto or what?
"I won't call it crime but something like team rocket stuff is happening. If my memory serves me correct Ilex forest is south of Goldenrod right?"
"Wait, Ilex forest is in danger?" She asked
"Well, they are actually searching for Celebi." I replied
"Ha-ha, isn't that foolish considering Celebi never shows itself."
She has a point. Even when Team Rocket burnt the forest Celebi did not show itself. What are these 'Azoth' cult thinking?
"Well I will be taking my leave."
"Celebi huh..." She waved her good bye.
(In the Golden-rod city Hotel)
'There is no information about those guys yet. There are even tests being done all over Johto to find one of them. Do they not plan to come to Johto'
I started thinking of the worst possible situation. That being both divisions going to Hoenn. 'Is my information about them coming here even correct?' (Suddenly Akira stood up from the bed.) 'Teleportation! If it is 'that' Alakazam, there will be no problem in coming here 1 by 1. S*it'
I took out my phone and called scouts all around Golden-rod. "Check the Ilex Forest!" I shouted. "What? But we are in the Hotel at the border. There is no way they entered." "Just do it!" I said it again but a man interrupted. He said
"Dude I was scouting and came just now. There are no Team Azoth or anyone in the forest."
He may have said that but the truth was that he did not even try to scout. That man was just lying while sitting in the Hotel. (Akira switched off his phone.)
'I don't need help from you a** h*les.' That was what he thought as he went forward near the Ilex forest.
(In the Ilex forest there was small group of people near a shrine wearing red uniform and the group leader was holding a small dark crystal just like the one received from Ursaring, emitting vicious aura)
That man drew a circle...no it was an Alchemical circle with hexagon and star inside it. He brought the stone near the circle below the shrine as it begins to shine.
"[gulp]What are they doing? Alchemy? Can it really bring the legendary time traveller into our world? No matter what I should stop it." As I made my decision, I sent out Scizor.
I researched about Azoth and found out that it is related to alchemy. And now this. 'They are alchemical generic cult huh?' I thought. The only thing of interest was the dark crystal.
"Scizor, Bullet punch!" I commanded
?: Heatmor, stop it and fire lash.
"D*mn. I was to careless. Sorry Scizor, return. Go Quagsire."
?: You grunts can handle him I need to concentrate.
Various grunts send out pokemon like Drampa, Manectric, Centiskorch, Sirfetch, Nidoqueen, Heliosk.
'Not good, Not good' I was pushed to the edge.
"Come out Everybody! (Blaziken,Noivern,Weavile,Rotom and Quagsire got ready for battle) Scizor maybe fainted but this is more than enough. Rotom, thunder wave. Quagsire, Scald. Noivern, Boomburst!" I was trying to barely handle the situation.
'From back!'(Toxicroak, Graveler,Medichamp, Gabite attacked from back) "Weavile, icicile spear on them until Blaziken finishes Bulking up. Now Blaziken, Follow up with Blaze kick and low kick. (Throws something from his bag.) Now Rotom! Go into your Mow form and use Leaf storm. Blaziken try to stop the leader from doing anything!"
As Blaziken rushed towards the leader and mega evolved. Unexpectedly, A Charizard catches its hand.
Akira/Blaziken:!
?: To handle this situation like this... Such a waste of a talent for a prodigy to die here for nothing. I will introduce myself. I am 3rd division commander Evan. Now Charizard Mega evolve(Y)
"Ken, Jump into sky."
Evan: Charizard, Fire blast.
Akira:Kick towards opposite direction to create enough force to dodge in mid- air.
Evan: Impressive I must say. Charizard use Air slash.
Akira: Dodge and maintain the distance.
Evan: Fast... Speed boost is annoying but I have successfully done the mission I was given.
A green light engulfs the Forest as Celebi appears from.
'So, they were prepared huh. This is going to be hard.'
"Ken! Blaze kick. ( Blaziken falls down unable to take the psychic) D*amn it! If only those lazy guys helped me. Weavile Ice shard!
(Celebi took the ice shard with little damage and proceeded to KO Weavile with Petal Blizzard. Rotom was hit with Psychic while Quagsire was hit with Petal blizzard Noivern fell to psychic.)
"It's over huh... I will join you so please spare me." I said as if my spirit was broken.
Evan: All your Pokemon are fainted and you have no tricks up your sleeve... What do you plan?
Akira: ...Just what I said.
"If you betray me, everyone who love will burn to ashes. So, you better follow me or boss. We are going to be at the apex of humanity very soon." Evan approached near me as he threatened.
"How, can you control Celebi so freely." I took the opportunity to ask.
"The dark stone... This was gifted to us by our boss who got it from... No one knows and you need not know."
"Sorry guys, you will probably hate me" I whispered to myself
Evan: Now that you are joining us why do you even care about your friends.
"Who said I was saying sorry to my friends. I was saying to my pokemon because they would hate this taste." Saying this I throwed a bag of ash.
Evan: !? Celebi! Petal Blizzard!
Akira: Scizor, X-scissors.
Evan: But how? It fainted.
Akira: A gift from Ho-oh. It is the sacred-ash of Ho-Oh's fire... And Scizor keep attacking it with X-scissors. (Celebi got a critical wound)
Evan: Grrr, Charizard! Fire Blast!
"Ken stop it. I forgot to mention that everybody gets revived." Now that I have my full team, there is nearly no risk.
(Ce-lii-biiiiii, Celebi screamed)
Evan/Akira: What is happening?!
Akira: Summer, Winter, Spring, and Rains!?. Are we Time travelling? There are also various portals opening at random.
Evan: Now that Celebi is at full power you're going to die.
"So are you. You are both going to hell. Someone who leeches of me and does not even have strength to defeat a kid is nothing but useless."
'That voice!' I recognize it, for it was the voice of the leader of their Cult. There is no way I would ever mistaken such a high, no 'strong' sound.
"Looks like your boss thrown you away. Why not help me defeat it you could live if you do." I chuckled inside but stopped it quickly. Seriously, no wonder he throwed away someone who could threaten him any time. This may be a chance to stop Celebi.
I heard no reply to this as Evan got attacked by Celebi and he attacked it with various fire type moves. He way really angry. Celebi was able to stop them all. And... and blew away Evan, killing him.
"! Oh, S*it. Noivern Hurricane!"
Even after being hit by a strong hurricane Celebi recovered. No rather it never got the hurt. Scizor used X-Scissor a few times but the one controlling Celebi wasn't stupid. He was using shadow balls at Scizor's joints.
"Celebi stop it! You're destroying your own forest!" I screamed to no apparent use. So, I myself moved near it with Weavile. Or should I rather say I moved towards the shrine with dark stone just to be stopped by a barrier and my Weavile fainting to petal blizzard. 'It's over' Now I felt like I can do nothing without Issac's help. I felt so useless. The Celebi came forward and lifted me with psychic. Just after that there was an explosion. It wasn't my body but a light ray had hit Celebi.
To my surprise Celebi turned normal.
"Who is it! How did they do it!" I spoke in a shocking manner. Just as I turned back, I saw a redhaired man, no I wasn't red, it was Crimson and beautiful. Who was the mysterious man? That man just walked away the moment I saw him
'At least he isn't a foe.' That's what I thought. And I then reached out Celebi. I heard a voice in my mind saying thank you. All legendary's these days can use telepathy even Ho-Oh did that.
"I have a favour," I asked, I needed to know "What will the result of our battle with Azoth cult be?" Surprisingly, Celebi did not tell me anything, but touched my fore head.
! Where am I? In a passage that I don't know. Then I started seeing things. I mean literally different events that occurred throughout history were before me. 'This is the 2nd pokemon war.' Everything was surprising, and as I saw backside there was only darkness, infinite darkness. An abyss. As I saw into my front again, this time there was infinite light. And they clashed both of them.
This time I was in a different place. What is this? The only word to describe this is hell. I was in a place that seemed like an alternate dimension. And before me was a hand. A large hand the was bigger than any skyskaper I saw. I gulped my saliva and took a step back and what I saw was... 3 pairs of eyes and a dark figure. I shuddered and saw Earth below me. The Earth was full of explosions. I seemed like the pokemon war repeated itself.
I felt like I was insignificant, for first time. Galaxies went past me and only things remained were, unknown. Like literally Unown the pokemon that hold reality. But why is Celebi showing me this. That was what I thought until I saw 9 figures. 9 shadow figure. I gulped dry saliva down my throat before even I realized. One of them moved its hand. Even though it is an illusion It seemed like he was catching me.
The illusion ended and I fell in the grass of ilex forest. There were tears. I was crying. I did not realize when. That was due to the sheer pressure the were exerting. It was like they were seeing me through illusion. I was shuddering each time I remembered that. If they were enemies of humanity, we could well think that humanity has ended. But why do I get feeling that we aren't threatened by them? Anyway I wanted to ask Celebi questions. I woke up. And then I saw it. Many of those guys who were resting in the Hotel stood there smiling and happy that I managed to defeat them. I hated their smile. It seemed like they did everything. We took Celebi to Pokemon Centre. The centre was highly guarded. I wonder what Issac is doing? Did he succeed? Anyways, I should probably rest. Rest for quite some time. Cause I am tired.

"Master, a variable has occurred."
"A variable?"
"Yes, something that could mess up the plan."
"Is it the Emperor of Shadows?"
"No, it is not. But he has the light stone."
"Light stone? Hmm... "
"Should I kill the variable?"
"No. Let the events of the fragment unfold. I will see how it ends."
"Your wish is my command."
The angelic being bent to a shadow figure. The shadow figure had 3 pairs of eyes. Six in total.
"Raise your head, Masseraph. And also make sure Shadow Emperor is not involved."

The Angelic Pokemon, said to reside in Azure region. It is best known for saving the region when, Ignisdrill, the tree of life had collapsed. Not much is known about it.
Azure region: Largest region ever. Based on Soviet union.
A.N-This chapter was weird...all the experiment stuff had to be heavily researched. Anyway, battle scenes will be shown with [name:] as much as possible, because it is not easy to write the battle with quotations.
