Coming Out on Top

2 Peeping Tom

Stuck standing there, bolted right to the ground in pure terror and fear, Roxas was captured in the guy's eye contact. From where Roxas was standing there was no denying the piercing green of the redhead's eyes, clearly visible even though Roxas was far away across the lawn.

Despite having an on-looker, nobody in the room paused their actions. The red head continued to pound into the drama club girl, possibly more vigorously than before whilst maintaining full eye contact with Roxas. As if confirming what was happening before his very eyes, Roxas could hear the desk they were on wildly hitting the wall inside. What followed next was the girl screaming a name at the top of her lungs that Roxas couldn't really make out and oh my god the red head was still staring at him.

The red head smirked. Roxas's eyes went even wider.

The drunk Junior thought that maybe the Earth would be merciful and open up and swallow him whole, but no such thing happened. He was forced instead to leap behind the large oak tree.

His knees hit the ground and he sunk into the cold dirt. His heart was hammering so loudly in his chest that he thought maybe this is what a heart attack was like. The panic made him feel dizzy and sick, which probably had something to do with the many drinks he'd consumed that night.

He knelt there, still as a post, praying that the outside light would go off again. Why hadn't it gone off again!? It was painful, but after a minute it went out. There would be no knowing when the hedgehog would set them going again though. He contemplated ringing Olette and telling her to go on without him and sleeping outside all night under the tree. The grass looked mossy and comfy, it wouldn't be that bad.

Feeling defeated and still a little woozy, he opened his phone and texted Olette, ringing was way too risky, he didn't want to make any noise whatsoever. As a precaution, he slid his phone into silent mode.

Hey-

He really didn't know what to say.

I'm stuck behind a tree?

No.

Delete.

Hey! Thanks for waiting but I've found my own way home, I'll text you when I get in.

Before he could jam his phone back in his pocket it had already buzzed three times with Olette's replies. He couldn't explain himself though. He just could not. The girl in the bedroom was still screaming, and to Roxas's horror he heard her, um, finish. Her voice hit a crescendo, then there was silence. The desk stopped hitting the wall. From his spot behind the tree Roxas heard muffled voices and movement, maybe the faint sound of a zipper.

Minutes passed. It had started to get rather cold outside, especially without his jacket. The idea of staying out on the grass all night was beginning to look impossible. He stood up and looked out to the back garden wall. Maybe he could jump over it and into the next door neighbour's. The wall was twice the height of himself, but he was desperate and it was beginning to look like his only way out.

Feeling like he was walking across a minefield he left the safety of the oak tree and walked out to the back wall, still hidden from the view of the bedroom. He heard a soft click and he froze, but realised that the garden had become darker, the bedroom light having been turned off. That was only a slight relief, he wasn't out of the woods yet.

Upon reaching the fence Roxas found that it was indeed three times his height. There were only three skinny horizontal planks of wood half way up each metre that he could maybe use to climb up. At that moment he didn't care. They were his only way to salvation.

He gripped one of the support beams and vaulted upwards, but quickly found his feet back on the ground, having not come even CLOSE to the first horizontal plank. Just when he was about to jump up and try again, he heard someone clearing their throat.

Roxas's pulse leapt into overdrive as he whipped around. There, leaning up against the oak tree was the red head from inside, his arms crossed, his grin visible even in the dark. He was now clothed in loose track pants and a thin tee-shirt. He looked smug as all hell. He must have turned off the outside light, he had given Roxas one hell of a fright.

"If it isn't the Peeping Tom," the red head drawled. "You know I have a front door?"

Roxas's face reddened in the dark. He knew the red head couldn't see it, but he still felt absolutely mortified.

"Well," the still slightly drunk Roxas began, "I thought given the circumstances that I should try the back fence."

The red head's grin widened at that, and Roxas thought he had every right to kick the shit out of him, but it didn't seem to be happening. The red head walked towards him and even extended his hand out to him.

"I'm Axel by the way. Just started at school. This is my place if you were wondering."

"Oh… I'm uh, Roxas." Said Roxas, gingerly taking his hand. "I'm really sorry, I don't usually um look through windows but I left my jacket in there."

"I know," said Axel, as he produced said jacket from behind himself. "I saw you go in there earlier." He held it out to the blonde, who deciding it was a friendly gesture reached out for it. Roxas was quickly whirled around by the red head, and winced as his back hit the wooden fence.

"That was pretty hot you know… Looking up and seeing you… Looking…" Axel purred in his ear. Every bit of friendless in his voice was gone and now it was dripping with pure sex. Roxas, bless him, didn't know how to react, and stood as still as possible unable to breathe. "I may have to punish you…" Axel whispered, his breath tickling the blonde's ear and causing thousands of goose-bumps to spring up on the back of his neck.

"I, uhm-" Roxas managed to stammer as the red head's hand found his waist. They were chest to chest, something that Roxas hadn't experienced much with another human being.

"You're cute, can I kiss you?" Axel asked, his green eyes meeting Roxas's blue.

Wow that was forward. The blonde took a deep breath. "I'm not…" He stammered, trying hard to form a complete sentence.

Axel backed off a millimetre. "Don't like guys? Never kissed anyone before?"

Roxas smiled and let out a small laugh, reliving some of the tension that had built up in his chest. "I um I like guys." He confirmed, trying not to choke on his own saliva. "But I haven't kissed many people and um I'd rather not."

Axel eyed Roxas for a moment before quick as a flash pecking him on the lips. Roxas, shocked, stood there blinking as the red head let go of him and took a step backwards. Roxas took this as a perfect opportunity to put his jacket back on, it was starting to get antarctic outside. He also needed something to busy himself with, to dull the shock of having been kissed.

"You're cute kid," Axel said, grinning down at him. Roxas was still catatonic. He'd kissed Riku only a handful of times, and now he'd kissed two people in his life. He wondered if Riku had kissed anyone else yet, maybe Sora.

"You're seriously cute kid." Axel announced, plucking him with his finger on his nose to get his attention. "How about this," he mused. "You can walk outta here scot-free, I won't tell anyone you're a peeping Tom, IF…" The blonde gulped. "You answer me a simple question."

Roxas sighed a breath of relief. "Okay, sounds good." He replied.

"Well," The red head looked him over, "I saw you in the hallway at school the other day, like, sobbing." Roxas winced. He hadn't been expecting that. It must of been the day Riku broke up with him. "May I ask what happened, and are you alright?" He said.

"My boyfriend broke up with me." Roxas deadpanned, the alcohol in his system making him immune to saying the sentence out loud, but he knew if he'd said it earlier in the day he would have burst into tears.

"That makes sense." Axel nodded, taking a second to think about something. "Did you kiss ever kiss him?"

Roxas laughed, "this is a weird conversation you know that?" He chuckled. "Yeah, I kissed him, loads of times."

"Are you a virgin?"

"What?" The blonde spluttered, completely taken-aback.

Axel stood there patiently, waiting for an answer. Roxas began to lightly sweat.

"Um. Okay we did it one time."

"And then he dumped you," Axel nodded.

Roxas made a face. "Wait a second I didn't say that. We broke up a week later because of completely unrelated circumstances."

"Now see, that's the rule, after bad sex you give it a week to not hurt the other person's feelings." He stopped seeing the look on Roxas's face. "I'm not saying it was bad sex just that maybe you two weren't compatible."

Now slightly angry, the blonde pushed past the red head in the direction of the front of the house, deciding it was his time to leave. "And I thought a relationship was about more than just sex." He huffed. "Well, maybe I'm just an idiot. But you should mind your own damn business."

Axel hurried to catch up with him. "I don't think you're an idiot, I'm sorry if I offended you, I'm just suggesting you're a little in-experienced."

"Oh great." Roxas scoffed, continuing to stamp his feet across the lawn, hoping to at least dent the grass a little.

Axel's hand caught his sleeve. "You are cute as all heck, seriously. Just wait a second." he offered. Caught off guard, the blonde stopped walking. Axel pulled him closer, looking deep into his eyes. Roxas was worried he was going to try and kiss him again, so he kept his guard up. They stood like that for a minute, just looking at each other. Axel stepped into him and bent down, drawing him closer and closer. Before their noses could touch, Roxas narrowed his eyes.

"Don't even try it." He said, trying his best to sound intimidating. It didn't work.

"You'd like it though, wouldn't you?" Axel said, his voice lowering. Roxas narrowed his eyes further. "You'd like it if your ex found us like this?" His knee slid in between Roxas's legs, maybe on accident.

Roxas took one large step backwards out of the redhead's grip, and straightened his jacket. "You don't have a filter do you?" He levelled, "like, you just say whatever you want?"

"Basically." Axel grinned again, enjoying Roxas's sass.

"So how often do you have sex then?" Roxas scoffed, ready to turn the tables on the annoying teen.

"Every day."

"Bullshit." Roxas shook his head in disbelief.

"Not if you're counting with myself." Axel grinned, almost dissolving into giggles at Roxas's disgusted look. Now call it the alcohol talking, but Roxas was quite envious of Axel. He'd never been comfortable with sex himself. He felt like doing it didn't really suit him? When he was with Riku he didn't feel comfortable at all, and he felt quite dirty and guilty even being naked in front of him, and he wasn't quite sure why. He'd never talked about sex with Olette or the others, that would be far too embarrassing. Yet here was Axel, a complete and utter stranger recounting his sex life like it was a wonder to behold. To Roxas it was quite remarkable really.

Roxas, still drunk, chose his next words carefully, while at the same time, not really thinking at all. "Could you… Teach me?" He asked. He'd clearly not chosen the right words as Axel gazed at him in shock, his mouth wide open.

"You want me to teach you how to masturbate? Sure let's go inside-"

"No no no no no no-" Roxas shook his head, trying to clear his brain. "You seem like you know what you're doing, with sex… and stuff. I want to be good at that. Maybe Riku will take me back then?" Later, he wouldn't know WHAT had possessed him to say all that. To a complete stranger.

Axel paused, still in shock. "You want me to teach you how to be good at sex?"

"Y-Yeah." A little voice in the back of Roxas's brain was loudly screaming THAT HE'D REGRET THIS IN THE MORNING but his drunk mind was okay with it. He coughed, attempting to fill the silence. "Ah, I'd just love to hear some of your wisdom and-" he coughed again, "it wouldn't be like we'd have s-sex ourselves just that I'd like to hear your knowledge from a purely, um, theoretical point of view instead of a practical one, you know?"

Axel looked like a cat who just got the cream. "Yeah…" He looked off over Roxas's shoulder, deep in thought. "This… is… perfect…" He looked down at the blonde. "I'll have to get some resources together, but I'll arrange our first lesson with you at school Monday."

"Oh, um, okay." Roxas said, not expecting him to be so professional about it all.

Axel brought his fist down to his hand, "I will teach you everything I know, I promise." Roxas tried to ignore the nervous tension in his stomach he felt seeing the glint in Axel's acid green eyes. "Now this…" The red head said, smiling down at him, "this is exciting."

Roxas smiled and nodded, feeling awkward as hell and not quite knowing what to say or what to do with his hands. Finally deciding to leave, he walked past Axel, and headed out towards the front entrance of the house.

"Oh, Roxas." Axel called, and the blonde turned around apprehensively to look at him in the cold night air.

"Just so you know, you looking in on us earlier, it really did get me off." He winked at the blonde, causing a light blush to dust the tops of Roxas's cheeks. Stricken with embarrassment, he turned and left the house, and caught an Uber home

Later that night, when night was turning into morning, he lay awake in his bed, wondering WHAT THE FUCK had just happened. He didn't know if he'd survive the next week at school with his new 'sex guru.' He didn't bet on his chances.
